Charlie and crew built 18X36 Pool pavilion. We changed the plan as it was being built several times but Charlie always worked hard to make sure we were pleased and satisfied and that it was built just as we wanted. He took great effort to find the exact materials we requested. Workmanship was excellent and as said in other reviews they always were tedious about cleaning up and never left a mess after doing each phase of construction. We are very pleased with his work and would not hesitate to use him again in the future.

I have used Precision for several selected projects and have been very satisfied. I believe Charlie makes recommendations to ensure the job is done correctly and efficiently.

What I liked about them was their professionalism. The quality of their work was very good. They gave us recommendations and guided us through the whole project. Everything was also done on time and their price was reasonable.

Charlie gave us a fair quote. Others could be cheaper, but none had his rating on reviews. Once he got here and started work, we were delighted. They cleaned up after themselves EVERY DAY, leaving the place as clean as possible. His workers, especially Steve, were totally professional and did quality work, going above the expectations. When they found other problems in the removal process, they always informed me and asked before doing any work that was not agreed upon previously. Their extra work was priced EXTREMELY reasonable, as they could have really jacked the pricing at those points, but did not ever do that. Charlie is as fair and honest in his dealings as I could have wished, a man of old-fashioned integrity. His Sub-Contractors were equally professional, considerate of our home, and did top quality work. It was a delight working with this contractor, and we are totally awestruck with the craftsmanship and look of the finished kitchen. I would recommend Precision, Charlie Dietrich personally, to any person that would ask him about ANY remodel or addition job. This has been a total blessing to us, and there were no SURPRISES. If you are doing any remodeling, Choose THIS CONTRACTOR....EXCELLENT experience for us.

Crew did an excellent job, especially Mike K. and Jerry! They were very careful when removing old fixtures from the house and cleaned up every day before they left. They were very trustworthy and I was not concerned to leave them alone if I needed to be out of the house. Charlie was always quick to respond if I had a question or concern. Would highly recommend this company!!

We started the demolition 0n June 17th. As demolition progressed, several unforeseen problems showed up, which had to be taken care of. We were immediately informed about any extra cost, and were never blindsided. During demolition and remodeling all debris was cleaned up daily by the crew, which was very important for us. We were also kept informed of the projected end date for the project. All promises were kept - Charlie went the extra mile to insure we were happy and completely satisfied with his work. Charlie was always available, if not in person, by phone or text message. His crew was very friendly and professional at all times, always listening to concerns we had, and explaining anything we didn't understand. We were fairly new to remodeling and often had questions which were always patiently answered.. We are planning to have our master bathroom remodeled in the near future, and will not get any estimates from anyone other than Precision Carpentry & Plumbing, LLC !! We fully trust Charlie and his crew, and know without question we will be happy with the next remodel ! We are also attaching several before and after pictures of the project.

I contacted Charlie to come give an estimate for some bathrooms that we plan to update. He responded the same day to my call and we set up an appointment. He and Matt were very helpful in accessing our needs and making suggestings. While they were here to look at the bathrooms, they noticed a problem we were having with a leaking window as well as some repairs that needed fixing, connected to the leak, that we hadn't even noticed. We got an estimate for that work and it was completed within the week. My husband was very pleased with the work done and the crew that Charlie had working for him. As he said in an email to Charlie, "They did a great job and were very good to work with. I liked each of them and thought they were very profession. I think their standards may have been even higher than mine. They didn't seem to take short cuts and wanted things to look perfect when they were done. They made sure I was satisfied with their work and I certainly was." We are still in the beginning stages of the bathroom remodeling project and may postpone it until the first of the year, but we were very pleased with the work Charlie did to fix an unrelated problem and wouldn't hesitate to call him to help with any other projects related to our house.

The work was all very good quality and I used an Angie's list deal so got a very good value. Had to do a little cleanup, but nominal. Contractor cleanup was good. Owner who provided quote was very knowledgable and easy to work with. Would definitely use again and recommend.

Charlie helped me when my previous plumber changed his estimate from $300 to $1300 at the time of work. I needed someone fast because I had already moved everything around and had electricians rerun wiring for dryer. They were just waiting on plumber to do water connections. Charlie did the work for less and ended up doing more than was expected. Everyone worked very hard and cleaned up afterwards. Will definitely use them again!

I found Charlie after reading his many reviews on Angie's List. We were able to set up an appointment pretty quickly and he came out to see the bathroom and prepare the quote. It took him about a week or so to get the quote prepared, which is what he said. I liked the way he put his quote together as it was easy to understand and included everything. Some quotes we received from other were very broad and didn't seem to be specific to our job. Charlie's quote was exactly what we were looking for. keep in mind though that things change on the job (or at least did in our case as we made some changes as they were working). Charlies was always really good about updating the quote. The job took the 4 weeks or so Charlie said it would. There were some delays due to things we ordered taking longer, but anything that Charlie to do to be our advocate he would. I will say that you have to be prepared for things to not go as planned, there are going to be delays and things will come up. What I liked is that no matter what you can always reach Charlie. He would either answer my call or call me back very quickly if I needed to speak with him and he wasn't on the job site. Most of his guys have been with him for a long time and I liked and trusted all of them. I found Charlie to be honest and fair. Charlie expects the best from his team and won't rest until you are happy. He has a great eye for detail. I wouldn't hesitate to use Charlie again and am actually in the process of having him replace our front door. I know he and his team will do a great job.

We knew we had water damage in our front porch structure so we sought a company that we could trust to perform the work correctly. From the time of contact with Matt Varnum to completion of the work, everything was performed in a very professional and timely manner. The removal of the porch structure may have uncovered more work than anticipated but the work was still done without a change in price. The different contractors that came in listened to our needs/concerns and responded accordingly so we ended up with a final product that we belileve is very good. There were times that some of the work was delayed, but for the most part, we were kept informed of when the workers would be at the house to continue or finish up the work. From start to finish, the work took about 3-1/2 weeks.

After deciding to move ahead with remodeling our Kitchen, we called Charlie. Charlie and Randy had looked at our job earlier, so he had a good idea of what we wanted. He gave us an estimate of the work, including Randy?s electrical work. We agreed to go ahead with the project. His project manager, Matt, came by and started the work in the beginning of April. All of the crew was very friendly and committed to their work. The job included a complete demo of the kitchen. New cabinets, flooring, lighting, painting, and electrical were completed in a timely manner. Our tile back splash turned out to be a beautiful job done by Jeff. Charlie guided us through the project by recommending vendors for cabinets, flooring and counter tops, etc. He was very responsive to our concerns regarding some installation problems. We decided to add new front and rear doors which were outside the scope of the original contract. Charlie and Matt once again were very helpful in selections. There were some issues with the doors and Charlie was very involved in correcting the problem with the vendor. He got vendor to adjust the cost due to the problems. That is something I would not expect from the contractor. Charlie looked out for us during the entire project. I would recommend Charlie and his crew for a quality job.

Overall, we are very happy with the results. Quality of work was excellent, well made and exceeded code requirements. We were especially pleased with the incorporation of the master bedroom skylights and the 9 foot tray ceiling. This far exceeded our expectations. Charlie was masterful in constructing the bathroom from an existing room (formally a dining room). The schedule was tight by current construction standards. The project was competed ahead of schedule which took 3 month's from ground breaking to occupancy. Charlie demonstrated an ability to overcome any setback timely and effectively. This project required a significant amount of owner participation. Communication with Charlie was very good, on a daily basis. The owner ended up contracting directly the HVAC, underground sewer tie and purchasing all hardwood flooring, tile, paint, a portion of electrical, bathroom fixtures/tub and others. The only slight downside was the total actual cost exceeded cost expectations. The total project was 15% higher than was originally contracted with approved changes. We believe this was well worth the cost increase.

Precision Carpentry did a great job on our kitchen remodel. We first contacted them in March where we met to discuss our plan for the kitchen and to receive a quote on the project. They were extremely helpful in making cost-saving suggestions as well as layout and design. After our meeting, they came back a few days later with a very competitive quote. The scope of the project included completely gutting the kitchen, removing a load-bearing wall between the kitchen and dining room (installing a steel beam in the kitchen ceiling to support the upstairs), installing new hardwood floors, custom cabinetry, installation of french doors (taking the place of windows), tile in laudry room, new granite countertops, extensive electrical work, lighting, HVAC work, plumbing, new tile backsplash and more. Our remodel did not include appliances because our existing appliances are relatively new, so we re-used what we already had. Also, our very old hot water heater died during the renovation, and thankfully, Charlie is a master plumber and was able to quickly replace it for us. Construction began on April 1, 2013 and our kitchen became operational in early June. They had projected it to be an 8-week project and they were right on plan. We fully trusted them in our home as we provided them with keys so they could work even when we weren't home (and when we were on vacation). We never had a single issue with them being in our home without us. As with any large project, there were some hiccups along the way, but they quickly addressed them and always wanted to do the righ thing to make us happy with the project. They also went above and beyond in many ways - all in an effort to make sure the quality of the job was top notch and the experience was a good one. We are extremely pleased with the end result. The kitchen looks amazing and the quality of the work was excellent. I've attached some before and after pictures to show you how well it turned out and how much work was involved in the project.

Mr. Dieterich responded to our request for a quote very quickly and the work began a few weeks later. We are very pleased with the results and will use him again when we are ready for new additions and repairs to our home.

I told the story in the previous paragraph. From start to finish, it was perfect. I was happy with Matt and Precision every step of the way.

Precision did a fantastic job. They were courteous, honest, hard-working, detailed, and they took pride in their work. We had them in and out of our house for months and never had any trouble. They worked hard to keep the rest of the house as free of dust as possible while the messiest work was being performed downstairs. And when we saw something that didn't look quite right, they were good about making changes to our satisfaction. All and all we feel lucky to have found a contractor that we will use time and again for just about anything around our house.

Bottom line: Charlie did a fantastic job orchestrating the work and seeing that it was done to a high quality of standard. I would highly recommend using Charlie to finish any unfinished basement. Based on his high degree of integrity and quality of work he demands of his folks and subcontractors I will use him for another smaller project at my house later this year. Initially, Charlie met with us, I provided my vision. he provided suggestions and enhancements for my consideration that I didn't think of and which I had him implement. He stayed on the expected timeline for the most part. Keep in mind, I would continue to add other specific details that I wanted done that would require more time and work to complete that added to the overall time of completion. My #1 concern was quality, not time of completion. He delivered. I want to acknowledge and recognize some of his high quality subcontractors who either went above and beyond or just produced/finished their work with very high quality: Randy Talbert (and his electricians) were AWESOME, (Professional and meticulous). The dry wall work was excellent and so was the carpentry work and the custom cabinet guy and the countertop subcontractor were outstanding. Charlie and his team were able to exceed my expectations and see my vision of my finished basement come true. Again, I highly recommend Charlie and his folks.

Charlie called me the same day that we requested his services on Angie's List. A time was set for him to come by and see the work that needed to be done and estimate any additional work requested. He was punctual and very professional. His crew came in and removed the vanity, repaired the plumbing problem, installed a new shower faucet, and repaired the drywall. The gentleman that did his cabinets came out and quoted a very reasonable price for a quality cabinet compared to what I found at Lowes and Home Depot. The cabinet was built and installed. Beautiful craftsmanship! Once the vanity was in place, another one of the crew hooked the faucet on the vanity back up. All the crew cleaned up after they were done. They were all very professional and trustworthy. Excellent job all around! I would definitely use them again!

Based on the minimal time spent, everything was done in a very professional way and at the same time Charles & Randy were very friendly.

He was able to get us a new hot water heater under the warranty. By Saturday at 10:30am the new hot water heater was installed and by noon we had hot water running. The only thing he charged us for was labor. We were very happy with how quickly and professionally this was handled.
