Presumably, because of the incredible amount of construction in the area, the project took longer than I had hoped; on days work was being done, workers were punctual. I am very pleased with my electrical bills, as last month's was $34 for everything--hot water, A/C, appliances, fan, etc.--great job on the insulation!

Excellent! We have been enjoying our remodel for 2 1/2 years now. The workers were very nice and trustworthy and they cleaned up every day. The owner of the company is very easy to work with. He has wonderful subcontractors. Everyone he hires does wonderful work. We are very pleased all the way around!

Charlie did a great job explaining and executing the work. He removed a load bearing wall between my kitchen and living room and installed two beams to support the structure. He listened to my concerns and worked with me to scope the job within my budget. I felt comfortable leaving his crew in my house while I was at work and on vacation. His team did quality work and kept me updated on changes or issues.

Our hot water heater went out on Labor Day. Charlie was doing work in our neighborhood so we called him. We got an immediate response and had hot water the next day from a top of the line heater at a reasonable price. He'll be coming back to our house to quote multiple projects. Very satisfied.

This is our second major renovation project with Charlie Dietrich and his crew at Precision Carpentry and Plumbing. We are very satisfied with the quality of the renovation and the overall process. There were a few minor bumps and adjustments along the way (as should be expected in any major renovation), but nothing that Charlie did not resolve to our full satisfaction. Charlie is an honest businessman who takes pride in the quality of his work and stands by it. The pictures are evidence of the quality craftsmanship.

It went very well. We felt confident in Charlie from the first conversation. He was up front on potential costs and the fact that his crew would not be the least expensive but would do the job right. He was knowledgeable on what went wrong with the previous installation and how his team would not make the same mistakes. He guided us through the process of selecting tile and materials needed and his crew went to work with the timeframe promised. I tore everything apart myself to save demolition costs. His team was very courteous and professional. They set up tarps every day to protect the rest of the house, and picked up the mess every day as they left. We love our new shower and if the money was there, would have done the rest of the bathroom too.

Charlie (Precision Carpentry) is a pleasure to work with - we have used this company in the past for a large variety of projects both inside and outside, from a "turnkey" remodel to smaller handyman repairs, and always with excellent results. The owner is honest, provides fair pricing, will make excellent suggestions but also do whatever work is desired at the customers request. His subcontractors are courteous, clean and trustworthy (and carefully screened) and Charlie follows up to insure the work is done to specification.

All of the repairs were done with quality workmanship, and in time for my mother to move into her new house. The workers were courteous, and arrived at the expected time. At the end of the job, Charlie Dieterich told us "Thank you for everything. We stand behind our work." We are pleased with the work that was performed, and would use Precision again in the future.

Charlie Dieterich is a delight to work with. He is very knowledgable and professional; he does much of the work himself. He does work in a timely manner, staying on the job until it is complete. He re-worked his schedule to be able to start our project while we were out of town, to minimize the time that we would live with no functioning bathroom in the house. He explained everything and answered all our questions. His crew members were also polite, respectful, and very competent; they cleaned up after themselves meticulously. Considering the size of our project, the price was very reasonable. Whenever we need more work done, Charlie is the one we'll call. We whole-heartedly recommend Charlie to other Angie's List customers.

Overall, very well. There were a few hiccups through the process, but that is simply part of the construction process. Charlie (owner) is concerned with your satisfaction and is willing to do what it takes to address your concerns and make you a happy customer. I am happy the work that was done and it has been a huge Improvement to my home's value. Charlie's employees and sub contractors were very friendly, professional and courteous. Precision Carpentry is not the cheapest contractor in town, but I honestly feel a cheaper contractor is not always a wise choice. I read his prior reviews and the good most certainly out weighed any negative reviews.

We recently bought a new house and needed to switch out a low-grade toilet and barely-functional kitchen sink faucet. We had the toilet and faucet because we had bought them already under another plumber, who then got too busy to do the work. I called Precision on Friday about getting the job done, and he told me he'd get back with me the next day. The next day (a Saturday) he told me he had a team that could come out in about an hour! Talk about fast. It turned out that they were then over an hour late, which was not the best, but they got both jobs done in under an hour and were very friendly and professional. The installer even gave me his personal cell phone number, telling me if I had any problems I could contact him personally, as the owner can sometimes get busy. I thought that was a nice touch. Also getting the work done on a Saturday (and to not have to continue to wait until the next week) was nice. We have a couple other plumbing jobs we'll need help with and we'll definitely try to use Precision again.

Charlie is a very pleasant person and professional. All work was done on time and our property was protected. They even used a vac. when sanding. We were very pleased and we are currently using Precision for another project.

Charlie and his team did a great job with my bathroom remodel. This was my first remodel and they were very helpful with all my questions and concerns. There were a few hick-ups every now and then but they would fix the problem and make sure it was to my liking. I have a pretty hard time with coordinating things. I have to see it together, but when you are shopping everything is separated. Charlie helped me with this as well. Mostly with the tile. He meet me after work one day and helped me pick it out. It turned out better than what I had chosen before (it wouldn't have looked that great). He has done this a lot and I trust his judgement on what would look good. They didn't just do the job. If they noticed something that needed my attention they would tell me. Like my water pipes were bad and needed to be replaced. They noticed my water heater was very old and had some problems. I had no idea and saw the problems that was on it (there was many). They helped me in getting a replacement. They also saw I had a leak coming from the roof that was getting behind a wall, damaging it. It was because of the person before me installed the air pipe for the bathroom fan/vent wrong and they were able to fix it. They made sure that I wouldn't have any problems after they had finished the job. Even when finished I can call them up if something does pop up. I would use them again for the next projects I have to do later on.

Do yourself a big favor and go straight to Precision Plumbing for remodeling. Charlie is way easy to work with, returns phone calls promptly, listens to what you want, makes suggestions. VERY personal service. He even contacted a former client so I could see his work. They raved about him too. He is meticulous, a stickler for details. All of his associates are also pleasant to work with and really know what they are doing. Their work is virtually flawless. They come back and fix little details if needed. The porch and the deck were left neat and clean each day. He also did other little jobs along the way, like fixing a sagging fence and replacing the door on my shed. I couldn't be happier. The sunroom is beautiful. The walls are windows that slide open and are screened. I can use it all year. Charlie's prices are fair. I am a woman, and live alone, and I never felt taken advantage of. This was my first experience with a major project, and I feel like I really got lucky. Not only that, but now I have a whole list of people I can call when I need other jobs done. If there was a higher grade than 'A' I would have given him that.

Went very smoothly. Quality of work was very good. I always use Precision for work on my home, never had any problems.

I had a leak in my kitchen ceiling for the third time. My house is about thirty years old and the original builder installed the cheaper grade of cooper. So it started developing pin hole leaks. I had another plumber fix the first leak a couple of years ago and they didn't mention anything about it. I looked for a different plumber on Angie's list. I called Charlie and he fixed the leak. He looked at it told me it would probably leak again in a different place do to the age and the cooper. He suggested to replace all of it. I had him just fix and replace the T's and elbow's in the area were it was leaking. He was right! I should have listened to him. It developed a pin hole leak in a totally different area in the ceiling about a year later. So this time I had them replace all of it for my second floor. They came replaced all of my pipes for my second floor. It was a big job and they did a great job! They cleaned up really well after they were done. It was like they weren't even here. Except we had brand new pipes in our kitchen ceiling. I know now I have piece of mind I will not have to go through a torturous leak in my kitchen ceiling again. Thanks to Charlie!

My project was custom work because both the doors and trim work were non-standard sizes, and I knew there were some rot issues. Charlie Dieterich (the owner) and Josh, his assistant, had a very can-do attitude. They didn't waste time harping on all the problems; they just focused on how to fix them. After providing me a quote, they ordered my doors. Every few days, Josh would call to update me on their status. When they came in, he scheduled the work. The first miracle was that their men showed up every day exactly when they said they would, seemingly unheard of in this industry. Charlie came the first day to detail the plan with Kevin, his in-charge man. After that, Kevin kept me posted on everything they were going to do and anything that came up as they got deeper into the problem areas. The second miracle was that Kevin and his helper, Hyatt, hit the ground running every morning, breaking for only a few minutes for lunch each day. They worked steadily and cleaned up the area before they left every time. They ran into much more rot than any of us had anticipated and showed me all they found. Charlie then quoted me a price on the new areas that needed attention, and let the guys stay on my job until all was resolved. The guys could not have been nicer nor more professional. They knew what they were doing, did quality work with quality materials, and left me knowing that all the hidden problems had been properly addressed. I would definitely recommend Precision Carpentry, and I would personally use them again.

Very impressed with how the project turned out. We had an idea in mind of what we wanted and Charlie worked with us to make our vision a reality. Charlie came out to our house initially to get an idea of what we were looking to do, quickly got us an estimate for the project, and once we gave him the go, him and his guys got to work. The project stayed pretty close to the timeline and estimate. Anytime there were changes, Charlie was upfront and very clear about those changes, so there were never any surprises. Since the project has been completed, my wife has said to me multiple times, "I love how this turned out!" Charlie and his guys were always professional and courteous, his positive reviews are well earned. Have already recommended him to many of our neighbors.

Overall, I'm very happy with the work done by Charlie and his crew. However, I suggest that folks reach a clear understanding with Charlie on when the project can be expected to be done. It took longer than I expected to complete, but I will admit that I wasn't ready when they were ready and they weren't ready when I was ready. Charlie provided me with an estimate on March 1st and the project was completed on August 26th. Once the project was started, it took about 2 weeks to complete. Charlie's folks weren't there continuously for 2 weeks. They fit me in with other work that they were doing elsewhere. So, coordinating my availability with Charlie's schedule was needed. Don't expect them to be there every day until the work is done. If you're patient, you'll be happy with the results. As I stated above, I retained responsibility for the painting. That included puttying up nail holes, caulking and priming. Yes, that's a lot of work. So, if you choose to save some $$$$'s by doing this yourself, make sure that you know what you're getting into.
