About us

Plant and Tree Solutions LLC is a locally owned horticultural consulting and plant health care company. We serve Greenville, SC and several areas of the Upstate. We are not a tree removal company. We specialize in tree preservation, soil fertility, landscape pest and mosquito control, tree and shrub fertilization, and woody plant diagnostics. We are qualified and equipped to diagnose and treat woody plant problems. We offer a higher level of expertise. Our company is proactive in implementing the most current industry research and treatment techniques related to plant, shrub and tree health. Our treatment applications are based upon sound science and we continuously update our knowledge. Our education, experience and awareness of insect and disease cycles helps insure that your plants and trees are cared for properly. We emphasize not only treating the symptoms, but finding solutions to the cause. Andrew Long has over 18 years of arboriculture and horticulture business experience. Andrew graduated magna cum laude with a Bachelor of Science degree in Horticulture from Clemson University. He is an ISA Certified Arborist and has worked in many facets of the green industry including organic gardening, greenhouse production, and urban tree care. Andrew currently serves on the board of TreesGreenville. Andrew has been married for eighteen years to his wife, Kristen. They enjoy going to see live music, travel and goofing around with their two children.

Plant health care & landscape pest control services include: fertilizer, nutrients, compost tea, organic soil conditioning, mosquito control, organic and natural treatment options, disease control, annual or seasonal landscape care plans and treatment programs, Integrated Pest Management (IPM), technical shrub pruning and preventative maintenance. Consulting services include: evaluation of horticultural & arboricultural issues, tree risk assessments & preservation, ordinance compliance.

Overall wonderful service. Andrew is very genial with excellent knowledge and credentials. He does prompt , proper and quick work. He listens and does what the client desires, not want he wants to do. However, he will make alternate suggestions, especially when related to plant health.
Description of Work: Referred by another arborist, since I had multiple issues with trees and plants AND will not use chemicals unless absolutely necessary. Andrew initially treated for boring insects in willows. After consulting about other problems, such as insects and disease, overcrowding and improper placement, we scheduled things to be done in order of necessity. My garden is totally renovated after a few days of plant replacement and soil and plant treatment.
