PERSONAL TOUCH FLOORING SERVICES INC

Carpet was to be installed on the day of Christmas eve. They arrived on time and proceeded to remove all of the carpeting from the residence. After they had laid out the carpet in the main living area, they informed us the carpet was defective. It's now about 3:00 P.M. on Christmas eve. They asked if we wished to proceed with the installation, or take the carpet back? We informed them we were expecting company the next day, and here we were with the baren floors, and asked them what they would recommend? They advised they could install the defective carpet, go back to the mfg., file a claim for replacement, and then come back and replace the defective carpet at a later date. We believed we had no other choice, and accepted their recommendation. Later, the carpet company claimed we should never have accepted the defective carpet, and even took exception to Personal Choices advise the carpet was defective. Thereafter, in the process of working with Persoanl Choice, they made our lives miserable by refusing to work with us on replacement dates, and even did considerable damage to woodwork and doors when de-installing the bad carpet, and installing the replacement. Our dealings with these people were the worst, and most expensive of any dealings with any company during our married life.

The company was very responsive and the installer was flexible and worked around when I could be there. I think the quality of work was outstanding and we were very pleased. The only issue that I had was that the installer left a lot of the excess and leftover materials at my house after leaving. However, when I mentioned this during a follow up call from Personal Touch they had someone out there the next day to collect it all. I appreciated that follow up and level of service from them and we are very pleased with our kitchen.

They have been coming every week at first and every other week lately. They always do a great job. Everything is so nice and clean when they leave. They have been great at working around us, as my parents keep our 2 children and large dog at our house during the day. They took the extra time to clean up some neglected areas like the shower. The same person comes each time and uses whatever cleaners you want them to use. I have been very happy with the service.
