Not a good experience at all.

Excellent. Charlie was very accommodating.

Charlie, the electrician, arrived on time, went over what I needed fixed, filled out paperwork, installed outlet and microwave followed by ballasts/lamps. He showed me where the microwave filters went, pointed out some interesting things, I had asked him about and he left the area very clean.

They were easy to make an appointment at my convenience. Showed up on time, work done, and explained what it covers and how to monitor it, and warranty.

We used a promotional pricing package purchased from Angie's List for this service. The Mr. Sparky electrician came in and reviewed the three items for repair. Then he gave a twenty-minute sales pitch for the Mr. Sparky/Benjamin Franklin Plumbing/One Hour HVAC franchise, trying to sell a yearly membership package. The pitch was high-pressure and took up valuable time. Next he reviewed pricing from a list of 10 services from the Mr. Sparky "Straight Forward Pricing" list. However, this pricing doesn't cover everything and there were additional charges on top of each item. There was also an additional $79 "service fee," which was not mentioned in the Angie's List promotion or on the phone when we booked the appointment. We will not use Mr. Sparky Electrical or their associated companies again.

I had originally planned for the electricians to do additional electrical projects including adding a recessed light over the sink and adding dimmer switches to other ceiling fixtures. However, the electrician took the first 45 minutes just to outline what he would charge for my projects, which totalled over $1200. Based on those prices, I reduced the scope of work to just the ceiling fixture replacement and the front porch light. If I hadn't already purchased a $99 coupon, I wouldn't have had the electrician perform ANY services due to his prices.The work itself was performed satisfactorily except that the dimmer switch was installed upside down. Note: The recessed ceiling installation estimate was over $575. I had that work performed the following day by another electrician (see Griffin Electrtic review) for $121.50, although I admit they lucked out by finding some pre-existing wiring. Since Mr. Sparky bills by the project, i don't know if they wouldt have lowered their charges had they too found the existing wiring.

Technician was very personable, professional and efficient. I showed him about 6 projects that I wanted done. He proceeded to work through them up to the "limit" of the service special. I was very satisfied with the amount of service recieved under the Angie's List Special.

Overall the results were excellent. No problems...I would definitely recommend Mr Sparky...

Way way overpriced. A lot of fluff and they try to sell you other things. If I didn't purchase the $99 for $319 worth of work coupon through angies list it would have costed me a total of $619 for two outlets and an hours worth of work; plus included in that is a $39 fee for the estimate...sound like a good deal? The work itself was done in no more than one hour. They have a guide they use to determine pricing and then depending on what you want it is applied to a "bucket" on a sheet with the cost. Reading over the estimate I was given, I think that the work done at my house was applied to the wrong buckets; personally I think they try to "make" the $219 back from the prepurchased "deal" from angies list. The job was easy. Oultets located on the first floor, one outlet just moved to the other side of the stud, additional outlet above that on wall up about eight feet. Easy access through a walk in crawl directly underneath. Local electrician we have used charges $99 dollars an hour. For giggles lets say this took two hours to do the work.....local guy would have only cost me $200.......you do the math. Tech was good not his fault probably directed to pursue pricing in a certain way when writing up the quotes. Not happy I got ripped. Don't make the same mistake.

Technician was a little late getting here, but stayed until job was done. Initially it took some time to work out a price, but technician was very helpful to work out a price we could afford. Work was completed in a very professional way. We will call again for future work. I intend to request the same technician.

They were professional, on time, and did what they said they were going to do. We had a problem with the light they fixed after they came that wasn't their fault, and they came out right away to fix it. Their price isn't the cheapest, but they are worth it.

Excellent. This technician was nice, professional and quick. We inspected his work and it was top-notch. He noticed some issues in our breaker panel, took pictures and explained to us the issue in fair detail. There was some cost involved but he waived that in an act of good will so we had no additional cost, after all. He went on to explain other services and partnering company offerings without any hard sales pitch. He is a credit to his company and we are planning on calling Mister Sparky Electrical again. I will be recommending this company to others.

He was excellent. We would have no problem calling him back. He was really sweet and really nice to get to know. His prices were fair. He was right here on the bat. He got here on time. We have a lot more work so we would definitely have him back.

I contacted Mr. Sparky to help me run power to a new disposal. I am not too handy, but I will take on projects and then get into trouble and not be able to finish them. Well, for this particular project, I got the disposal mounted fine, but it went haywire when I tried to connect power to the disposal. I must have cut the electrical feed into the disposal because I could not get the disposal to work (and the disposal itself was fine). I called in Mr. Sparky to help me get the disposal working. The serviceman mounted a new power outlet under the sink and ran power from the existing disposal switch on the wall above the dishwasher to the new outlet (ran it behind the dishwasher next to the sink). I am happy to say the disposal is now working. I was a little worried about having a power outlet under the sink, but the serviceman explained that no code prevents it and that it is safe...works for me, he sounded like he knew what he was talking about :)

Mr. Sparky (robbie) was always on time. The work was all done well. We are very pleased.

We bought the $99 coupon promoted by Angie's List, trusting in Angie's reputation. Bottom line: Everything turned out very well.There was a big communiction error, which was inconvenient, but Angela, office manager, and Robbie, electrician, couldn't have done more to make it right. Robbie went out of his way to find us outlet covers like the ones we couldn't use anymore. This was the very first time in our 31+ years of marriage we've used an "outside" electrician. We will use this company again, and we will ask for Robbie for sure! Highly professional, polite, and qualified staff.

They were here a couple of hours after we called them on Monday night. They came back early Tuesday morning and worked all day to get the system installed. There has been no problem with them. Everything is working so far. They were all very nice people. The receptionist is also a nice lady.

They did very well and on time. They explained everything he was looking at and answered all my questions.

My electrician, Robbie, was awesome. I would definitely recommend Mr.Sparky!

They very promptly fixed the issues they had found. They are very friendly and very capable.
