LOWES

Took 8 phone calls ( 97 min. on hold) and 3 trips (40 mile round trip). They kept getting confused about how, where, and why the installation should happen. Bad communication between store and installer.

They did a wonderful job. They were very friendly. They did everything I asked and more.

The work crew was very punctual and professional, did fantastic work. Very pleased with Lowe's and the services the services they provide.

They were great. The sales guy was very helpful and very patient. They weren't expensive.

The actual installation of the countertops was sub-contracted. I requested, and was able, to visit the subcontractor's place of business to assure myself that what I ordered was what I was going to get! It was. This company then give me an installation date a week or two later. They arrived on time, were very professional. On site, they cut places for faucet, soap dispenser and cooktop. They cleaned up . There were no problems, They connected the electricity to my new cooktop but a Lowe's plumber had to come the next day(and quot;Saturday) to hook up the plumbing for the kitchen faucet. - so we were without kitchen water overnight. That hookup had been included in my price and it also went smoothly. I was very pleased with the service and the outcome. If you're in a hurry though, this type of arrangement might not work well for you.

Lowes was professional. They arrived and gave me an estimate to replace my roof. After I received 4 other bids, I decided Lowes was the most expensive and did not have the best warrantee. I did not use Lowes.

Carpet was sold to us by Lowes. A contractor contacted me on behave of Lowes to install the carpet in our master bedroom. The installers arrived on time with all the material, they were in and out of my house in 40 minutes. Carpet looks great!

We had carpet installed in our master BR around 10 months back. The installers showed up and surveyed the emptied room with this comment, and quot;we don't have enough carpetand quot;. With the room fully emptied of furniture, the installers went ahead and laid the carpet having to put 3 seams (15 x 18 room). We were not satisfied with the seams and were told we could have it replaced. After communicating with 3 different people at Lowes' corporate installed sales department over a period of months and 3 asst. store managers, we have been unable to get a timely resolution on our carpet replacement. The last corporate person we spoke with was very helpful and worked with the store to get something to happen however, after visiting this store to reorder carpet and also order carpet for 2 additional rooms. we were told that someone would call us to finalize the order. After 2 weeks and 2 calls to the store management., we found out our salesman had transferred stores and the dept supervisor did not call us back. What is worse is that we have to explain this entire story to every new person we speak with. If we were not tied to Lowes for replacing the carpet at their cost due to installation problems, we would never use Lowes or any home improvement store for carpet again. Customer service is not a priority based on this experience. Update September 2012: Lowes Corporate Installed Sales really stepped up and helped us get resolution with the local store. Without this person being committed to customer satisfaction, it would not have happened. We are satisfied with the end result and appreciate the follow up. It should not have been this difficult when was all said and done. There are definite gaps in how the customer service at the local store is handled.

The day before they were to be delivered I called to ask for a ballpark time in which they would be delivered. I was told they did not know. So the next morning I started waiting at 8 A.M At 3 P.M, I called to ask when they would be delivered. I was told another 2 hrs. At 6 P.M, I called again and the salesmen actually asked me if they could deliver them tomorrow and they would refund my delivery fee ($59). At that point I asked to speak to a manager. The manager that answered actually told said to me "You've already been waiting for 10 hrs, I don't understand why another hour is going to hurt". At 10:15 P.M my appliances arrived. The following morning I started installing the appliances and found that the parts were not included for the washer. That same day I received a letter from Lowes rebate department which stated I was not eligible for the $350 rebate I was told I would receive. In the end I returned everything and went to another Lowe's location. Jose there was great.

Realizing that we needed a new dishwasher and clothes dryer, we first went to another company and found them to be way overpriced and not at all professional. We checked on Lowe's and found them to be extremely courteous, responsive to our questions and their price was perfect.

They carry a great selection of materials. The only problem I have is that this is a new location and there are a lot of new employees that they are not very familiar with the items they carry. It takes the employees a long time to show you what you need. I honestly feel that I know more than they do about certain things and where they are located in the store. Besides that, they are friendly and this is a great company.

The two workers were punctual, friendly and quickly finished the job in about two hours. They did a great job installing the carpet which all together was very reasonably priced. I've had no problems since. I would recommend the Lowe's carpet installers; they addressed all of my questions and did a follow up call From the time I bought the carpet it took two weeks to get it laid. The only problem I had encountered wasn't related to the workers; it was with the salesman and the difficulty I had getting him to arrange the actual job. However, they were able to accommodate my scheduling needs.

I have no complaints at all and I give them A's all the way around. They were a very professional company and the pricing was amazing. I have no complaints what so ever with this company. I am very pleased with everything. The shed looks great and it is exactly how I wanted to be. Everything turned out accordingly with no complaints.

I was very pleased they were courteous, nice and punctual. I thought it was good that they didn t ask for help moving the furniture around, which is a lot of work. They were careful with the big pieces, too. I liked that. I like the carpet, too.
