The whole process went well. Once the contract was signed, work began promptly and was conducted professionally, as promised. The same crew showed up, 8am to 5pm, Monday - Saturday, they were always on time and ready to work. I was pleased with the workmanship and they obviously took pride in their work. They kept the site clean and safe. Our deck project was large, technically challenging, and I am pleased with the final result. I would recommend anyone in the market for a new deck to consider Deckmasters.

I couldn't be happier with Deckmasters! From our first engagement, they were prompt, professional and knowledgeable. I loved working with David who was very knowledgeable and designed a deck that meets all of our families needs and is gorgeous!! The crew was wonderful....showed up everyday at 8 am and worked solid until at least 5. They cleaned up everyday and I trusted them as I was in and out of the house all day with my kids. The end result is a deck that is beautifully built and so much nicer than I imagined. I have recommended them several times since and will continue to because they are a top notch company with a top notch crew. Big thumbs up! I love my deck!!

He found a number of deficiencies and he advised how to address them.

Its compressed wood with white railings. He and his workers were on time, only took three weeks, and they worked every minute they were here. They were protectionists, punctual, and David Elembam evan came out two after the work was completed to check on everything. There was one nail left out and had his men come out to nail it in. They were extremely reliable.

David Elenbaum was courteous and professional. He came to our house to give an estimate in the rain in a timely manner after I first contacted him. He gave initial estimates of replacing our current decking with wood and synthetic materials and invited us to visit the Deck Store in order to look at materials and make a selection. We visited David at the Deck Store a few days later and were impressed by the variety of materials he had and sample decks he had on hand for us to look at. We were able to make an informed decision and chose synthetic over wood. David prepared a detailed estimate for us on the spot. After we had agreed on the price, he realized that he had forgotten to include some material in the estimate that would be about $500 extra. I offered to pay it but he declined, saying, "That's not how we do business," and included the overlooked materials for no extra charge. He also added a light kit for our deck for no extra charge which is from an Angie's List coupon. David's exclusive subcontractor came and built our deck right on schedule and did a beautiful job! They noted that David had underestimated the length of the deck and ordered planks that were one foot too short. Rather than delay the project and order longer planks, he upgraded our job at no extra charge (again!) and added a picture frame finish around the edge of the deck to take up the extra space. It is a really nice look that normally costs extra but he did not charge us for it. The light kit is a great feature I would not have thought to purchase on my own but am glad that we used the Angie's List coupon to get it. We upgraded the standard light kit for a little extra cost but it is well worth it. Deckmaster's is a company I would recommend without hesitation.

Having dealt with a number of low quality service providers in the construction industry around Greenville, it was great to deal with David and his employees at Deckmasters. Imagine, a person who is responsive, works with you to ensure your satisafction and does what he says he will do? David is this person. Estimates in writing which are accurate. Timely response to any questions. Actually pays attention when you ask questions and will take the time to get the correct answer. Workers appear on time, ask questions, make changes as necessary and endeavor towards your satisfaction. Having worked in the construction industry in multiple states and on dozens of houses and commercial facilities, I can honestly say these guys put more care and quality into the construction of the deck than many builders do in a house.

It was great. Very happy with it all. They may not be the cheapest decking company, but you get what you pay for. If you want a cheap looking job, get someone cheaper and live with your decision for the next 10 to 20 years, or get DeckMasters to do an excellent job and be very happy, like I am.

We couldn't have been more pleased with how our new deck turned out! David Elenbaum was terrific to work with; he gave us prompt estimates and drawings and provided us a very quick turnaround in scheduling the building project. We truly appreciate his flexibility in meeting us at the house, at his "shop" and all of the communication via phone and email that he provided. We had a unique space to work with - a corner lot back yard with minimal space and. Dave gave us options to transform a previously unusable deck space into an open deck area suitable for our back yard living expectations! His crew that completed the project was FANTASTIC. They were prompt, respectful, hardworking and excellent craftsmen. I stopped in at least once during the day while they were working on the project and they took time to discuss the progress and ask if I was pleased with the ongoing results. During the project, our original plan was hindered by excessive root structures and the DeckMasters team quickly apprised us of the situation and offered solutions and opinions without impacting our build schedule. I appreciated their communication and their honesty in how to manage the minor obstacle. The worksite was impeccably clean at the end of each day and was spotless when the project was complete. We had originally planned on gathering additional estimates, but after receiving such great communication with Dave, we opted to select them as our only bidder. We probably could have identified other local, smaller contractors to help us with our project, but I feel strongly that for an efficient, timely and trustworthy experience, DeckMasters was well worth any additional cost. To help with cost, David worked with us to achieve a discount since we were able to pay for the project in cash! Consider DeckMasters to be highly referred!

Very professional. Knew exactly what they were doing. Very surprised as to how clean they were. Had a bag for trash and whenever it got messy, they stopped and cleaned up the mess and put it in the trash bag. By far, the best contractor that I have ever worked with. When they left, the area was spotless.

They are excellent and I would recommend them to everyone. They show up on time and tell me the price and when he is going to be here. They do it when they said they would and if there is something I don’t like they make sure to come and fix it. They still make sure I am satisfied with everything.

Deckmasters exceeded our expectations. Our new deck turned out even better than we imagined. David, Hugo and team were very professional and courteous. We are very happy with our new deck built by deckmasters. David Elenbaum designed a new deck to provide our family an outdoor living space. They started from the ground up, the quality is outstanding! We now have a deck that is double the size with a pergola over 1/2 of the new deck, giving us an eating area and a sitting area. They were very professional to deal with.

Purchase home in July but unable to actually relocate from PA till May. Contacted David in April with design ideas, dimensions, material type and requested a RFP. He responded immediately and given the green light to proceed. He suggested the current wooden support be replaced with brick columns to better accommodate my hot tub which I agreed with. Being 8 1/2 hours away I was never onsite to view the work which made me a little nervous. However, when the project was completed within a couple of weeks David shot me a few pictures. Wow! What a great job. Better than I had anticipated. DeckMasters may not be the low bidder but their work and speed are well worth it. I highly recommend DeckMasters!!

Deckmasters just completed our new deck.The crew that installed ours was top notch, There were some preexisting issues with our old deck (It was one inch hiher on one end) but they had no problems adjusting for this. The owner, David, supplied detailed and accurate quotes and it was a pleasure doing business with him. The chief carpenter, Raul, was about the most meticulous carpenter I have ever seen. I would highly recommend them.

Overall I was pleased. When I asked for a gate to be made longer so that a puppy could not crawl out of the yard, boards were replaced so as to prevent that from happening.

They were very professional, they did the job one time per the budget.

We contracted with Deckmasters to replace an old deck and build an additional, new deck on our house. They were very responsive and professional throughout the contract process and were able to start work almost immediately after we agreed on the scope of the project. The crew that was assigned to our project arrived on time daily and worked consistently throughout the day. Their workmanship and attention to detail was well beyond our expectations the the finished decks were built to a very, very high standard. Deckmasters may not be the cheapest deck contractor but as the saying goes, you get what you pay for. We would recommend Deckmasters without hesitation and will use them again if the need arises.

Superior ++ in design, workmanship and quality. DeckMasters of Greenville goal is to please the customer and boy did they succeed. They are a rarity. Price was higher than most bidders but it was worth every penny.

The entire project was conducted in a very pleasing manner. David presented creative design ideas from the outset and seemed to comprehend our wishes almost intuitively. The deck construction was done by a very talented crew with great attention to detail and a desire for perfection in the carpentry. David and all of his people did fine work.

The quote was detailed, complete and promptly provided. David gave us a lot of information about different options and showed us pictures of previous work. He provided us with a very professional image of the plan for our finished project. Work began on schedule, to the minute. David introduced us to the team. They were very professional as well. The team arrived on time each day, they worked incredibly hard and did amazing work. The job was completed on time and as promised and looks even better than we had imagined. We have had previous experiences with contractors which have not been positive. We really couldn't have asked for anything more in this experience with DeckMasters- professional service all the way, excellent construction and a beautiful finished project that our family is already enjoying each day.

They are absolutely awesome and amazing. They were on time. They did spectacular work. They are just fabulous. They like take you the problem and absolutely fixed it. They are totally into whatever it is you want and what you need. My deck is the most gorgeous thing I have ever seen. I have people come out and look at it and they have been like the seams are perfect, it is completely level. When I said, “this isn’t going to work” they said “let me fix it” and they have been. They are right on deadline. They put on a double crew to make it happen. We don’t find that a lot.
