Eric Knight's inspection was very complete. I attended the inspection and noted that he looked at EVERYTHING from the roof on down. He checked all aspects of the home including: roofing, exterior, structure, electrical, heating, cooling, insulation, plumbing, and interior. Although he is not concerned about cosmetic he pointed things out to me that I would point out during the walk through with the builder (Thanks, Eric). The report was timely and complete with summary, text and photos. We also did a 48 hour radon test that was reported a day or two later. Nice guy, good eyes, and professional. I would definitely use his services again.

Contacted Eric Knight to perform an inspection of a home under construction. He came out on several occasions, including before drywall was installed and a few days before closing. He was punctual, professional, and final report was delivered promptly. Would certainly consider again for this type of service.

Eric has done several home inspections for my clients this year and he is great to work with. He is flexible with his scheduling for one thing and that is a rare find. He is punctual and professional. His reports are done in a timely manner and always thorough as well as easy to understand. He treats my clients with respect and is accomodating if they want to be present. He is more than happy to show them any areas of concern. Overall he is just a pleasure to do business with!

Overall, Knight Property Services was a great value for the service provided. The owner was very quick to respond to my initial call and follow-up calls/texts. Arrived on time to perform the inspection. Once arrived, spent a couple of hours on the property completing the inspection. Since we have now moved in the property we have found a few major items that we thought should have been noted on the inspection report. Hopefully the builder will repair without issue. The inspection report that was provided was very neatly written, great pictures, and references. Generally, I believe Knight Property Services is a good value and would recommend.

I chose Knight Property Services because of the high praise they received here. However, my experience was not deserving of praise. Eric was almost 20 mins late to first inspection with no phone call. He remained in the kitchen chatting while his assistant conducted the inspection. We were told we'd have the report same day and 2 days later we were still waiting. I didn't complain because I was expecting a very thorough report. Based on Eric?s report several repairs were made which he confirmed upon reinspection. However, once I closed on the home it was discovered that several big issues were missed. 2 toilets had to be replaced immediately ? one with a visible large crack in the tank and one that was completely corroded on the inside. One of the toilets was leaking and the floor underneath is completely rotted. Additionally 2 windows have lost their seal and are almost opaque. Possibly he thought they were just dirty and did not look further? These seem like standard issues any inspector should catch. To be fair, prior to writing this review I called Eric to let him know how unhappy I was with the job he did and gave him a chance to address it. He was kind and offered to come and look at the situation. I was expecting him to come and confirm the missed issues and offer, at minimum a partial refund or some kind of restitution. We exchanged a few calls to get together. I told him when I was available and he promised to get in touch with me. That was 4 weeks ago and I haven?t heard from him nor have I received a refund in the mail. I would not use this inspection service again and I would not recommend them to anyone. I know that the realtor office was equally disappointed in their service and will not use him again

The provider was great. He was extremely thorough and went above and beyond what we assumed he would even do. He looked in every nook and cranny and found things we hadnt even thought of. We chose to follow him around the entire time and he welcomed it. If we had a question about something we saw, he took the time to explain why it would or wouldnt be an issue upon purchase. He took lots of pictures and in his report was very detailed about the things he found. This was an older home and was very large. He took twice as much time as he had alloted for the inspection and still charged us what he had quoted us. This was very much appreciated. It looks as though we might back out of this deal due to some major issues he found. If we do, we will be using him again for the next inspection.

. Mr. Knight did a very thorough job, sent a very detailed report of his findings, and gave advice on maintenance/ repair to deal with that problem as well as a few other minor issues that he found. Very pleased with the job.

Great service very informative and took their time around the house but the report was well documented and very easy to read.

Eric Knight showed up promptly on time and performed a 3 hour home inspection. During this time he took notes and pointed out several things that needed to be corrected. He took pains to keep the house clean, wearing coveralls and not going under the house until the end. I was emailed a complete inspection within 4 days of him being at the house. The issues I have with his service are as follows: 1)He set up a Radon Meter and it was 10 days before he was able to get the meter out of the house. I actually had to work with the seller of the house to gain entry, then I met Eric at a gas station to give him the meter, then it was another few days to get the results of the test. 2)There are several crawlspaces under the house and he didn't find the one that led under the master bathroom. When I had contractors out to the house to do minor repairs, they went under the master bath and found substantial damage and poor construction. We are in the process of getting bids to replace all the subfloors in the master bathroom after I had no idea there was a problem. This master bathroom situation may have changed our minds on the purchase of the house if we had been informed of it. 3)This house had radiator heat pipes in it since it was built in 1953, Eric thought they were galvanized steel water pipes. Our water pipes are actually copper and when we had someone come give an estimate on replacing the steel with copper, that is when we realized that we DIDN'T need to replace the water lines. A would think a home inspector would be able to tell the difference. 4)I informed Eric Knight of these problems and was given an apology and a promise to refund some of the money. Several times since the promise I have contacted him and I still have not received anything. It has been 2 months now and a lack of follow thru bothers me.

Having Eric come to the house for the inspection was the best money I could have spent. He was able to list any issues with the home and put them in a category whether minor or major. It has allowed us to be aware of issues we will have to face for future repairs and it has given us the information needed for repairs to be made prior to closing and price negotiation. I felt he inspected the house as if he was purchasing it for himself. I would highly recommend him to anyone and everyone.

We were very satisfied with both the service and the price. He was the most courteous and prompt of the home inspectors we called to ask for quotes.

Mr. Knight was very courteous, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. We found his company through an Angie's List coupon, bought the coupon, and was able to schedule with him the very next day for the inspection. He arrived promptly at the appointment time and explained in detail how the inspection will be performed. The whole time I followed him around and asked just about any question I could possibly have about the home, which he answered every time. He was so thorough the inspection lasts nearly 3 hours, which I see as a good thing. We got a detailed report with pictures of all of his findings. He told us that he is our inspector for life now, if we ever have any questions call him and he will answer it or find the answer for us. Mr. Knight is a really great person and great at what he does.

In preparation for selling our home, we used Angie's List to find a recommended house inspector. Mr. Knight was professional and personable from the first call we made to his business. He kept in contact on the scheduled day of the inspection, so we would know exactly when he would arrive. Eric inspected our house from roof to the concrete slab on which it rests! Upon completion, he sat with us and went over his findings and made suggestions for the few corrections or improvements that needed to be made. He provided a written report of his inspection for our records. It was a pleasure to work with him, and we highly recommend Knight Property Services.

Eric Knight was the ultimate gentleman. He was prompt and very professional. After many dealings with home inspectors, Eric was the best so far. If I ever need another inspection, I would use and recommend his company. The report was sent the same day and was very detailed with pictures and clear explanations of the issues found. The summary page was perfect. In fact all I had to do was attach it to an email to the builder to get the repairs completed. Great Job!!!

We chose Knight Property Services because of reviews we read on Angie's list. Very glad we chose him, the inspection went very well. Eric Knight was very thorough, and professional. We were not able to be there for the inspection, and found out that the power had been cut off when he got there. He was patient, inspecting everything he could without power, and then waited till the power came back on to complete his inspection. His detailed report on the house went over all the obvious things and a lot more. It was obvious that he inspected every square inch of the home. Could not be happier.

I had no problem contacting Eric and setting up an appointment for him to come out. The day of the appointment he was on time and drove a professiona looking vehicle. He inspected the entire house from crawlspace to attic. He later emailed me a very detailed report with color pictures of the things that needed to be repaired or replaced. He also offered to come back out to inspect any repairs we had made. The only issue I have is that he missed one thing according to a master plumber who did repair work for me. He showed me the hot water heater hookups which were PVC (or some type of plastic) and were leaking at the point where they went into the heater. He told me they were not supposed to be plastic because the heat would disintegrate them. He also said that the supply line was supposed to be 3/4" and mine were only 1/2". The plumber replaced the fittings and pipes and the leak has stopped.

He inspected the outside of the house first including each railing, each front porch wooden support and then examined the vinyl siding. he then climbed on the roof which was very steep but examined the roof, gutters, and any outside structure. he then examined each room including the windows, doors, power outlets, the stove, the oven, the bathtubs including water jets in the main bathtub, the light switches. He examined the attic and the circuits of the house including taking apart the main circuit breaker to make sure all the wiring was done correctly and professionally. he also examined how each door opens and closes and each window. he closely examined the AC units and furnace, the insulation. He then went into the crawl space and examined the soil under the house, the drainage system, the sunk pump.

Eric did a fantastic job on my home inspection. He was on-time on both occasions (radon test results on the second trip). He was very professional at all times. Eric was very thorough and answered any question/concern that I had on the spot. I even called and texted him a couple of times after the inspection. He promptly returned my calls/texts. I would recommend Eric to anyone who needs a good/thorough home inspection. I wish every contractor that I deal with would model themselves after him. It was a very pleasureable experience for me!
