JACK'S CUSTOM UPHOLSTERY

From the very first moment I contacted Judy at Jack?s Custom Upholstery, the experience was great. I first made a search on Angie?s list to identify the best rated upholsterers in my area, and although Jack?s Custom surprisingly only had two (good) reviews (they deserve much more!), I checked their website and was drawn by the fact that they have been in the upholstery trade and in the Greenville market for so many years, and were a family company. I decided contacting them, together with couple of the other good rated companies on Angie?s list. This happened over a weekend, so I decided sending them an email with pictures of my old leather living room set (the leather was falling in pieces) and some pictures taken from the Pottery Barn with a living room set that I used as a reference for what I wanted my set to look like once upholstered. I sent my email on a Saturday night and by Sunday morning I received a reply from Judy with a quote. For the next few days I went back and forth with Judy via email clarifying questions on the service, timeframe, etc. What set Judy apart from the other two upholsterers I was also getting quotes from, was her kindness and responsiveness. She seemed to understand what I was looking for, so I decided to work with them. My furniture was picked up when Judy said it was going to be, and although it was delivered just couple of days outside of the timeframe Judy had given me, I cannot complain. I wanted them to do a great job, so did feel that if two extra days were needed, that was fine with me if I were to get the results I wanted. And Judy didn?t disappoint me. The result was gorgeous!! I couldn?t be happier. The set looks brand new and it?s so pretty that I was initially considering placing it in our family room, but decided moving it to our formal living room and it looks so beautiful!! One important think about Jack?s Custom is that it is a family business, so all the family is involved in it. From Judy on the business relations-sales portion of the company, to her husband who?s the upholsterer together with their son, who was also the one picking up and delivering my set. This is the very first time I take this long to review a company, but Jack?s Custom deserves it. I feel I owe them a very good review for doing a great job, and people should be aware of how good they are!
