We decided to use a buyer's agent when purchasing a home in Greenville rather than try to do it ourselves and we were fortunate to find Donough Forde of Shelltree Realty to help us. Donough got to know our needs and did a lot of legwork and research on the properties to save us time and travel. He was courteous and prompt, returned phone calls in a timely fashion, and never appeared frustrated or impatient with us despite the fact that we made him show us 50 houses in a very short amount of time! We were looking for a house that would become a home to my wife and I and our children. In the past, I've dealt with agents who essentially handed me a list of available properties in my price range and wished me luck. But Donough got to know what was important in a home to me and my wife, and then made some very wise suggestions that we hadn't even considered. He was able to get us into houses we wanted to see within a couple of hours and a few times he did it within a couple of minutes! That would have been impossible if we'd tried to do this on our own, and probably would have been "impossible" for a lot of agents. It wasn't impossible for Donough; he just went out and got it done. He ably guided us through the purchase process and now we have the home of our dreams. I highly recommend using Donough Forde as your real estate agent.
