My desktop computer wouldn't boot. The monitor screen was blank and I couldn't get any error messages. Also, there was a constant beeping alert coming from the console. I'm a tech-savvy individual, but this problem needed a professional service technician. I had gotten a coupon in the mail from this business for a free diagnosis ($45 value) so I took it in. After a couple of days, Chris called and told me the problem was found and repaired. Actually, finding and fixing the problem were coincidental since it only took removing the memory modules and cleaning the contacts. No parts replacement was involved. Chris said he would only charge a (modest) repair fee of $35. I had been expecting to pay far more! Also, Chris said the computer would benefit from a general operating system clean-up involving virus and spyware removal and overall tweaking. This is a time-consuming task and the charge for the service was very reasonable, but I declined since I could do this myself. I was also advised to remove some especially troublesome software. Overall, my experience with these people was very positive! They were very competent and knowledgable. Also, my perception was that they were forthright and honest!

I got a virus on a PC. The company gave me a phone estimate for price and time. I took the PC in and it was fixed on time and on budget. I did this on 2 occaisions with 2 different machines. They also advised on free anti virus software which I acquired and turned out to be a lot better than the Norton I was running previously.

He built me a computer a year ago and any time I have troubles, he makes a house call. I also take my system there if needed. He also is a Karate teacher.

The gentleman from Computer Handyman was extremely professional and easy to work with. He went through several troubleshooting steps before deciding that there was something wrong with our white westell modem. The gentleman suggested we replace the modem, and we have not had any issues since. I think the prices at Computer Handyman are a little high, but the quality of his work was excellent. We will use Computer Handyman in the future.
