When Derek came into the house he put some shoe protectors on his shoes. He explained what he was seeing and doing through the whole process. He have us some good information about our HVAC system that we were not aware of. He was able to answer every question we had. We will definitely call Carolina Htg and Air when we need their services again. This was our 1st experience with Angie's List and we are very impressed. We will recommend both services. Thank you.

Good. Service very good, thorough. I was comfortable with technician, he knew what he was doing, was straight forward and honest.

Scheduled an inspection on both our units. Bought a service plan with them also. Technician came out again about a week later to do fall maintenance, will come back in spring as well. Very friendly and informative. Answered all our questions and he gave us some energy saving tips for our home. Technician's name was Bill.

Carolina Heating responded on a Saturday (extra cost, but worth it) to repair my air conditioner. They kept me apprised of when the repairman was going to arrive. He was professional and found the problem in a timely manner.

The technician arrived at the agreed time. He introduced himself, gathered additional information from me and got to work locating the issue. After the issue was resolved, he went outside and made sure the external units were functioning properly before signing off.

I called and asked for an estimate. I was told someone would call that same day. To this day I have heard from no one. Very poor business practice. If you want business from someone need to return phone calls. If don't want business or too booked up, just say so.

Went very well. Technician came on time and performed service in professional manner. Have used Carolina Heating for 20 + years and always received first class service. Has installed new system and performed routine servicing yearly servicing.

They were good. They followed up with their recommendations and we declined that. He was very nice and efficient.

consultant who analyzed the house and gave us the quote was timely, professional, and patient answering numerous questions throughout the process. Installation process was smooth, staff was professional and friendly, cleanup was excellent, follow up has been great.

Came home from work Tuesday to find furnace was not working. Called first thing Wed AM and service truck arrived 10AM. Repair immediate. Heat back on before afternoon. Service Plan also purchased at this time.

Very professional, hard working & cleaned up after completing the work. Stayed late the first day to guarantee I had heat that night & finished the job the next day. They ran into some minor issues when increasing one of the air returns, but handled it well. Very impressed & I highly recommend them.

Excellent service experience. I knew going into this that these folks were on the high end when it comes to cost, but I'm a firm believer in " You get what you pay for". I consider the question of "Value", to be the more important question, and this company made the higher cost worth it. The service technician was thorough, prompt, knowledgable and professional. He performed an annual service on two heat pump systems and installed two new programable thermostats. He set up the programs on the thermostats and instructed us on how to use them. He also discussed other options that are available when it comes to replacement systems. Our home is 15 years old and some of the equipment is original and will need replacing in the near future. I will definitely use this company to do the work.

Came in to replace thermostats that were the old mercury ones and to fix a failed attempt to install ones purchased earlier. he traced out the wiring to determine that the unit had been wired incorrectly from installation and resolved that issue and a system board issue that prevented the unit from turning on. Installed a second thermostat for the other unit that required an upgrade at the same time. All in all he was at the house for about 2 hours and with the cost of the thermostats removed left about 150.00 for labor out of the 273.00 price tag of the repair. Very personable and responsive to our needs and listened in detail to ensure he understood the exact issue before starting the work.

They come out twice a year for service and if I need something, they are there right away. They are very friendly, they are always on time, and they always call you right before they get out there. And when you get a crunch time, they really do respond with you on the contract and they are there when you have an emergency. They came out to our house this past summer; it was a 100 degree day and our air conditioner went out and they were there within two hours on a Sunday. They are great.

We were only in town for a short time, and needed to get a programmable thermostat checked out quickly. Carolina Heating was able to send someone over that morning, who was able to verify the wiring install and find problem in the initial set up (needed to be shifted to 'heat pump' mode). Very responsive service that saved me time troubleshooting the issue.

They said they would provide us with a quote and did not provide the quote. I would not call upon this company again!

Very good experiance from start to finish. There price was a little higher than some of the others I got. I chose them because of there reputation. My experiance with them was well worth the extra.

They came several times but I stopped using them because they became too expensive. They were professional, checked everything out and I trusted them. They were fine and I would use them again if it was not so expensive.

I like them because they are very conscientious about not messing up your home. They are very orderly and professional and the price was reasonable. It's not the best price out there but it's not the worst.

I called Carolina Heating because of their advertising and reputation. A very professional representative came to our home; assessed our needs and made a proposal. The problem was the price; for a less efficient Trane system the price quoted was $4700.00 more than I paid for a more efficient system from another authorized Trane dealer.

Had appointments made where they came within 4 hours of the scheduled time. The NATE technicians spent a little over an hour checking and recording the various settings and conditions of either the ac or furnace depending on the upcoming season, giving me a signed copy of the results and findings.

Very professional, starting with the response from their home office, the follow up as to the appointment date, and the work of the service technician.
