Description of Work: I called to get an estimate on replacing the air handler or entire Carrier system in my house. They scheduled a visit by a rep, which seems to be standard practice. Daniel came and so far everything seemed very professional. After explaining why I was interested in exploring replacement options (expensive rewiring needed), Daniel told me it was the dumbest idea he had ever heard. I apologized that he came out for nothing, and he responded that it was a very long drive. As I apologized further he said, with obviously veiled anger, to call if I need anything in the future. |Sorry guys, not much chance of that. I appreciate the honesty and not being sold something I don't need. However, if you send estimators to Spartanburg and it doesn't work out, I suggest you save your frustration till you get back in your truck. |Clearly I didn't have work done and maybe they do a fine job when there is something to fix. But I went to the trouble of writing a review because I found them through Angie's List and was pretty surprised by the experience.

Description of Work: I didn't use this provider solely because their price was about $600 higher than the installer whom I choose to go with. This was an apples to apples comparison using the same manufacturer and model number. This provider explained that with there price I was getting extra services that easily made up for the price. Problem is I get weekly email promotions/coupons where I can get those exact special services for a lot less.

Description of Work: Installed new 2.5 ton york ac unit and more vents. It went really well. They were very professional and cleaned up after themselves so well i did not have to clean up anything and they even cut a new vent in the ceiling. I am really pleased.

Description of Work: I purchased a 10 year old house and wanted to have everything checked out before I moved in. By searching Furnace Service in my area, I found the A Rated Carolina Heating Service. I also found they had a special for exactly the service I needed. The service I received was very thorough. Their technician was very knowledgeable and checked out alla specta of my furnace to insure it is working proerly. He also changed all the filters in the house and tested the smoke and Carbon Dioxide alarms. Based on the quality of service and knowledge of the technician, i decided to purchase their Carolina Comfort Club for a year of service for my furnace and HVAC. The amount I paid for the coupon was credited and i only paid the difference! I highly recommend Carolina Haeting Servjce.
