BISHOP ROOFING

They were timely and we love our new roof. The only thing we didn't like was they left numerous tacks in our yard, which we could have been injured if stepped on. My husband picked up many tacks and we called them and they sent someone back and they picked up many more. However, my husband still had to pick up lots more after they left.

They required about half $ up front, then took a couple of months to get them out to do the work, excuse after excuse. A pressure wash of house was supposed to be included that they did not do. Quality of roof install was fine, can't complain there. They left rolls of roofing felt in yard, again, hard to get them to come get it.

It was a very bad experience. It was a small job and it took them six weeks to two months before they actually came out to do the repair from when they were contacted. They came out for one day and recommended what needed to be done to fix the leak. After that they did not come back for a long time and when I called they said that the worker who was supposed to be doing my job had crashed the company and had gotten fired. I had to repeatedly call the company and the owner at least six times to get them to come out again. It was very unsatisfactory and the repairs that they finally put in place were not effective. I had to hire another company to repair the leak. I would strongly recommend anyone against using their service again.

IDO NOT USE!!!!! nitially, we thought it was great but then it leaked, almost immediately. They came out and re-caulked and the leak seemed to be fixed. Apparently, that was because we were in a drought. Then on November 11, 2009, the rains began and the rain came into my house again and again. Bishop Roofing said we had a problem with our brick mortar so no one would fix it because they all said it was the roof. With each rain, came gallons of water. Finally, in February 2010, I filed an insurance claim. The damage sustained to my house totalled over $14,000!!! They did not tear off the old flashing on any of my roof so the water just ran through the old flashing. They didn't put gutter guards anywhere except where it was visible to us. The only fix they offered was to re-caulk again and again. I had spots with over 4 inches of caulk on my new roof!!! All this had to be removed with the old flashing and repaired to the cost of $2550 plus $282 for the missing gutter guards. What a crook!!! Check out BBB.org - over 19 claims with 8 no responses (including mine). DO NOT USE!!!!! The nicest comment any one who came out to inspect my roof said was that at best, it was unprofessional.

They worked quickly, it took a couple days and I was very happy with that. They were on time for the appointment. They used high quality product, precise work. They explained everything to me before they performed the work. That was my first time using the company, they charged me a reasonable price.
