Very knowledge, friendly, and helpful! Great work and great price! He has completed two tubs in my house and if I had more, I would use him for those also!

I am owner and CEO of Herculean Property, we mostly focus on house flipping in the Greenville area and I would say ATR is one of my secret weapons and Russel is my go to guy. The one great thing I can say is he will NOT put making a buck over the quality of his work and ultimately your product. I don't mind making sure my job sites are up to his standards because in the end it benefits me. He text me when he gets to one of my houses, then pictures of the before and then pictures of the after. He is always on time and has even got jobs done for me on short notice and on weekends. If you want a professional that puts the quality of his work over "just doing it" and taking your money then American Tub Refinishing is my recommendation.

I called Russell several times to get a quote. I spoke with him and he said to text him a picture of the tub and the measurements. This is a complete remodel, He said to not caulk the top edge of the tub after the tile was in. I explained that the rough in plumbing in in but the spigot had not been installed. He spoke with my contractor who explained that there is water at the house he can access. This morning I received this text from him: Check out your job site...unable to help you with this job...not interested in any future jobs...thank you I immediately called him, left message, he didn't respond. Sent him a text and asked him to call me..he did not! I am blown away by the total LACK of Professionalism. DO NOT USE this guy! He should NOT be on Angie's List! I am a realtor and refer contractors ALL the time,this is one to STAY AWAY from! BTW: red flags were up when I first spoke with him. He did not want to warranty his work for the buyer of our house. Hmmm...lesson learned..

I called him for a quote and he advised me to do it myself and even went into great detail of how to do the repair. He isn't one of those repairman who is in it just for the money. He could have come and charged me any price. (I had no idea how to plug bathtub holes.) Instead, he offered free advuce. I was very impressed and will definitely call him for future needs.

The process took approximately 4 hours. Looks great!

He did an excellent job. A few months later I dropped something heavy in the tub and chipped it. He came back and fixed it (and for a much lower charge than I would have expected). I would definitely hire him again.

Excellent communication!! Excellent service!! Excellent finished product!!! This is the second time I've used them and I do not hesitate to refer!!! My 100 year old historic tubs look brand new!!!!!

All I can say is I wish I would have done this years ago! It looks like brand new! Russ was on time and very professional. We are in the midst of a remodel and he patiently climbed over materials -- never complained.

Mr. Jacobsen arrived on time and began work immediately. He answered all my concerns and questions with patience and politeness, even made helpful suggestions on improving the appearance of the bathroom. He was professional and did an outstanding job on my old blue tub, transforming it into a new white tub. I couldn't be more pleased. He charged a fair price for the work. I highly recommend him.

Everything went spectacularly. The owner performs all services himself. He VERY carefully covered all surfaces in the bathroom and took the greatest care with our home. He did a fantastic job with plugging the holes with a fiberglass putty and then etched and refinished the glaze on the inside of our antique cast iron claw foot tub. It looks absolutely beautiful...you can't even tell where the faucets used to enter the side wall of the tub.I have used the tub quite regularly for the past 5 months and the finish still looks gorgeous. Further, not a spec of mess was left behind anywhere in the bathroom. Absolutely fantastic job and VERY reasonably!

The service provided was excellent. He was on time and really new his trade. Saved me 100s of dollars on replacing my shower. Exceptional work.

We are very pleased with our refinished tub for a fraction of the cost it would have been to replace. I would describe Mr. Jacobson as an artist who takes great pride in his work. We moved into a home with the guest shower/bathtub in bad shape with tons of soap scum and fiberglass cracked. Mr. Jacobson arrived on time, performed the repair work and refinishing within four hours. He was meticulous to details from tub preparation to completed job and came prepared with all types of speciality equipment including a venting system through an outside window. He completely covers walls, windows and doors before he beganand cleaned up when he finished. Our bathtub looks brand new and is very easy to clean. I would highly recommend American Tub Refinishing.
