Responded to request with appointment next day, called ahead to confirm that he was coming. Arrived on time and spent time explaining the problem, step by step walking through the issues. Very professional, informative and suggestions for future decisions related to our garage door. Cost was reasonable. Very pleased with the service and will use this company again, no doubt!

Spring broke night before. I called in the morning and talked with the owner, Jonathan. He gave me a price and said he would work me into his schedule for that day. He called later in the afternoon to make a firm appt., showed up when he said he would. He got the job done without any problems. I felt very comfortable and safe. His workmanship was professional. I would recommend them to others.

It went great. They were prompt, professional and came in under estimate.

Jon arrived between 10-12 as promised. The garage door would not close completely even with the operator unit at full down force. Jon first applied WD-40 to all the joints, checked for wear against the jams, loosened the rails & disengaged the pull arm. The door was still very resistant to motion - both down & up. Problem was diagnosed as worn ball bearings in a discontinued coil system. Jon replaced with a better design promptly. New system works perfectly.

My garage door lost spring tension, causing the pulley cables to come loose and jam the garage door. Fearing the worst, I called Jon to make an appointment. He arrived on time and went straight to work. In no time at all he had the garage door back in working order, and in better operating condition than before. Jon was professional throughout the job, and knowledgeable. I appreciate that he went out of his way to help me resolve this issue quickly. I definitely would recommend this company!

I called the Anderson phone number and stated my problem. I was told that somebody would be there to take care of it between 3 and 5 PM. Jonathon arrived about 3:15 , told me what the cost would be to repair the door system. I gave him the OK and he did the work efficiently. As a retired mechanical engineer it was a pleasure to watch someone work that knew exactly what needed to be done and how to do it.

My garage door was bent from being backed into by a car. This caused a vertical piece to break eventually. I called American Doormasters late on a Friday afternoon requesting an appointment the following Tuesday, which they were able to accommodate. The repairman (Jon) arrived on time and explained that I had 2 options, to repair or replace door. He pushed pretty hard to sell me a new garage door, but I opted for the repair. He installed the strut very quickly, and the repair seemed to straighten out my door. I didn't notice until later that he checked all of the options on the service agreement, some of which were not appropriate.

When I called and explained the problem over the phone, they were able to give me a quote. They showed up on time the next day, fixed the problem and even cleaned and oiled the chain. Excellent service, more than expected. I will definitely use them again.

Called on a Sunday afternoon. Jonathan answered and said problem sounded like broken door spring. He quoted me the price and scheduled the service for the next morning. He showed up on time, was polite, and finished the repair in about 30 minutes. He also did some other maintenance on the door. Price was same as quote over the phone and the door is working again. Would definitely recommend and hire again.

Electric garage door opener stopped working. American Door Masters determined that replacement opener was necessary. Arrived on time. Completed the job quickly and professionally. Price was as quoted.

I bought a new garage door opener that I intended to install myself. However, I was first going to need to get at least one broken torsion spring replaced. The gear on the top of my Liftmaster opener had snapped off and it was 20 years old so I figured it was time to replace it. When I called American Door Masters I was told that replacing one spring would be $150 and both, which was recommended, would be $240. He said they could also install my new opener in about two hours including assembly and programming for $110. He was pretty sure they could repair my opener for less than that. The repair technician was prompt, courteous and polite. He said the springs would be $248 and he could repair my opener for $95. He said he had never seen a motor in a Liftmaster opener go bad and if I replaced the gear and sprocket it would last another twenty and then probably die before the motor. It took him under two hours to get everything done and the door is smoother and quieter than its been since I bought the house.

It was a very good experience. I would use them again.

I called several other garage door places and then I asked friends if they had recommendations. Mr. Hahn(American Door Masters) was recommended by a friend and after I called I knew I had the best place. Everything about their company was right! They spoke well and nicely on the phone, they were timely, well versed and looked very professional. They came with in a day of my original call, they gave me a ballpark price over the phone, ( which was much better than all the others I called). When Mr. Han came to the house he called first. He was very polite when he arrived and got right to work. He replaced the spring and lubricated and tested the the door quickly. He explained everything to me, offered advice with no sales pressure and made sure I was completely satisfied with the job. I will be passing out their card to all my neighbors and friends. It was like having my Dad come and fix the door! This is the kind of company you want to find for all your home services!!!!
