Garage door alarmingly damaged when SUV backed into it while it was only partway open. Door was left twisted and off the rails, with some of the wheels dismantled and separated from the tracks, and cable separated from door. It was Saturday night but I was concerned about security because garage wouldn't close, and weather forecast was for rain and wind. John was here within an hour of my call--during the NCAA tournament!--and in less than another hour he had that door working better than it did before we broke it. He was breathtakingly knowledgeable and efficient, had everything he needed, did not attempt any upselling, certainly did not overcharge me. I sure hope he will be available for anything else my garage door ever needs.

They were absolutely excellent. The guy who came out was very professional. He did a great job. I just can't say enough of him. He was very knowledgeable. He was very punctual. He got it more than my expectations.

I called American Door Masters on a Friday afternoon. They offered to come the following Saturday morning. John was on time and very courteous. My garage door opener was struggling to get the garage door open and consequentially was bowing in the middle due to the weight of the door. The problem was not obvious because the broken part was not visible. He replaced the broken part with a new spring system. He adjusted all operating functions and checked that everything was working as it should

They were on time and professional. They replaced a circuit board, but did not charge for it. They said that they thought that would resolve the problem, and if it did, I should mail them a check for the circuit board. If the circuit board did not solve the problem, they would return and remove the circuit board and replace the automatic garage door opener with a new unit.

They were timely and the guy was fine. He gave me information on how to do the up keep. He told me what could happen and what to do if it does happen. He gave me numbers. He did his job and left. It was covered under my insurance. I would use them again.

Embarrassing detail - I tried to open the garage door when it was locked - it threw one of the rollers out of the track. Called American Door Masters approx 11 a.m. and they came round approx 4 p.m. that afternoon. Jonathan and his assistant got the door back on track, and adjusted and leveled it. While they were there, I asked them to perform a maintenance service on the motor. Work was done quickly and professionally. Very pleasant to deal with. Noticed immediately that the door motor worked smoother and quieter. A couple of days later I realized that I could no longer see light under one side of the door - they'd adjusted it so it fit correctly.

Jonathan called back quickly and I explained the issue. He went over a couple of things it could be on the phone and gave me an estimate of each. When arriving at the house, we went over the issues again so that he could visually comprehend. After getting in it, he discovered a bigger problem and stated that he would try and fix to where it could still work. Low and behold, he was able to repair the motor along with servicing the unit and accessories. It also runs much quieter. I thought for sure with the time spent on repair and what the issue ended up being, it was going to cost more....but no, he kept the cost to what he estimated in the beginning. I was very impressed. I will call Jon whenever a future need arises. So nice to deal with true honest people again.

door stopped working over weekend. called American Mon. Jon said he would repair Mon 12-2. Based on symptoms, Jon gave me a non-binding estimate over the phone. He arrived on time, fixed the problem with impressive skill, and even though my model required more work than newer models, charged me the estimate.

One of the tension springs broke on our garage door and prevented the garage door from opening . We called Jonathan and left a message for service. He called back within an hour and scheduled an appointment later in the afternoon. Jonathan and another guy showed up on time, completed the work quickly, and was very professional. He suggested we consider replacing both springs which we did since our garage door is 12 years old. They were also able to take a credit card which was swiped using his cell phone. Very convenient. He estimated on the phone the charge should be around $250. After the work was completed the final charge was $245. We thought the price was very reasonable considering the promptness of his response and professional work. We will definitely call them again if we need garage door work again!

I called them and scheduled an appointment for the following day. They promptly showed up and fixed what I needed fixed at the price they had quoted me on the phone the previous day. My garage door was in very bad shape and really needs to be replaced but they did not hard sell a new door but were kind enough to leave some sales literature and ballpark pricing when I asked for it.

Jonathan's quote was much more reasonable than the other estimate I received. He arrived on time, took out the old doors and hardware, installed the new doors and hardware, and finished when he said he would. Everything works and looks so much better. We couldn't be happier with his work and professionalism.

My husband and I had manual garage doors and had been lifting them for over 3 years. I finally got tired of doing this and called to get a quote for the installation of 2 garage door opener units. I was also unhappy with the sealing around my doors - I wanted the seal to be tighter and have the bottom seal replaced. Jonathan came out the next day and gave me a very reasonable quote - and he did it quickly, which was great because I was on my lunch break! I was so confident with him that I did not even get a quote from another company. A few days later, he came out and completed the project. I was finally motivated to do it and was glad I didn't have to wait long for the work to be done. They were thorough, walked me through the safety features and operating instructions, and were on their way in just a few hours. They cleaned up after themselves really well - besides the brand new units, you couldn't tell anyone had even been there! I noticed that they even took their trash with them, even though my garbage can was right there...most people would just fill your can up. Thanks, Jonathan....my husband was pleasantly surprised when he got home from work!

Jonathon arrived within 3.5 hours of my call. Had all the necessary parts and spent 2.5 hours completing the repair. Very thorough and knowledgeable. Included an inspection of entire door and recommended other repairs that were important. Didn't charge me for a cross support and roller that he installed. I highly recommend him.

Answered my call (which other vendors didn't do), arranged to come the next day. Phoned me the next day and explained that he would be late. Arrived and replaced a digital control board, calibrated the door positioner, lubricated all the moving parts. Price was reasonable. I WILL use them again if needed!
