Lynn was the consummate professional and patiently answered my questions about AC units in general and my system specifically. He methodically checked the A/C, explained the return system, advised me on the kind of filters to get and then checked the outside unit which was up on the roof. He did a thorough job and was charming to boot!

Lynn Burroughs of Aire Serv came out to check on our furnace that was giving problems. Lynn thoroughly inspected each HVAC system in our house and determined that it would be in our best interest to replace the main floor system instead of repairing it(the old furnace was on its last leg anyway). I had two other companies come out and give me an estimate(very similar in price), but I chose AireServ because of Lynn's knowledge, experience, and professionalism. He took his time and diagnosed the problem whereas the other two companies were not as thorough in their assessment of our needs. Initially, I was a bit overwhelmed in trying to make a decision on the best equipment for our home, but Lynn and his office helped guide me based on their past experiences, and I really appreciated this. Another thing that impressed me was the fact that Lynn really liked working for Aire Serv. He mentioned that the owner of the company, Richard, was very supportive of his people and treated them well. Lynn and his colleague, Scott, worked diligently to install our new HVAC system, making sure everything was done the way they would have wanted it to be done in their own home. They took care to respect our home and went beyond my expectations in ensuring a satisfactory installation. Lynn also installed a new NEST thermostat for us, which we are very pleased with. I had been reading up on this thermostat for a while and was very pleased that Aire Serv was able to install it for us. I like the ability to be able to control the thermostat from my smartphone. Lastly, I was very impressed with the professionalism of the company's staff, especially Andrea in the office. We will definitely be using this company in the future. Thank you!

The agent found and replaced two capacitors that where reading below spec and a length of wire that showed overheating with burned insulation. I was so impressed with the level of craftsmanship I signed up for a twice yearly maintenance contract.

Thought the deal would be for a dehumidifier but it was not.

Service provider was unable to guarantee the work because the furnace is in the attic and the humidifier would be subject to freezing in the winter months. Also difficulty in getting to a source of water was also a factor.

Very nice people, but they couldn't install the humidifier upstairs and could only put it in downstairs for me.

Well we finally got together. Technician did a very thorough job of cleaning the coils, water drain. Then checking the response of the heat pump. More then pleased with the results. Glad he had to go into the crawl space under the house rather then me!

Update: The company's customer service folks reached out to me and apologized. They offered to send out a senior technician to do a complimentary review of my system in anticipation of cooler weather. The technician came out on 9/29/14 and did a thorough review/cleaning of our system. I appreciate the company's willingness to reach out after our miscommunication. The technician was punctual and helpful.

It went quite well in that the tech explained that my thermostat was old and needed to be replaced for maximum service and he cleaned my heat pump. He explained what he did and I was so impressed that I purchased a service agreement with them.

Very nice, very professional, and they did a great job. The only complaint I have is that I had to call them to get information about the system they installed, they did not educate me about it on site.

Overall, the tech did a great job. He was on time, wasn't pushy regarding extras I could buy in the future but simply shared an option to consider in the future. Will probably use them again.

The company responded promptly and well. However, in assessing what preparatory work would be required to allow the humidifier to be properly installed it became clear that the costs to modify the plumbing and the risks of water damage during the operation of the humidifier were too great.

Professional and courteous, a great experience. From Dot, the customer service lady to Randy and Len, the technicians and installers this job was flawless. Great people to work with. Mark, the project manager was on the ball throughout the process handling the logistics. Highly recommended, use these guys if you have the need or opportunity. They removed my old oil-fired furnace and installed the new one in a day and a half and left a clean jobsite. We had used them in the past for smaller jobs...tuning up the AC/Heating unit etc, this was the first big job. Again...A++! Dennis Kuykendall

Overall good job but initially got the address wrong and went to my other home. They rescheduled and everything worked nicely.

The service tech arrived at 8:30am for a simple install. Completed a simple job 4 hours later at 12:30. Wired the unit wrong and caused the motor to burn out. Had to leave to find replacement. Since the install, I am now having problems with my HVAC (heat) running properly due to how often the humidifier drains and causing an issue with pressure inside my system. I have had to call out my HVAC company to review and repair. They found the humidifier was not even properly hooked up and was not even hooked up to the humidistat although the wires were just running into the wiring box. They also did not install the humidistat that is indicated that comes with the system yet used one that was previously installed form 20-30- years ago. My HVAC company also called the manufacture of the humidifer and found out that this was this was the lowest base model sold and least efficient. I had made a call to the company prior to purchasing and the representative assured me the system was very efficient. They failed to inform me of the amount of water usage this unit will require. They also failed to inform me this was the bottom of the barrel as to humidifiers although they did offer to sell me one for well over $1200. So the moral of this BIG DEAL purchase was it is a BIG piece of junk. I have learned my lesson with my first and last BIG DEAL through Angies List. I hope someone reads this and can make this issue better but I am doubtful.

We did our homework before making such a large purchase and Aire Serv came in with the best quote and outstanding service. They won't try to sell you something you don't need. I highly recommend this company.

I have already reviewed this company for this service. They were on time, courteous, professional, found a problem, showed me the proof, corrected the problem, disposed of the "bad" part and cleaned up after themselves. Great job!
