Description of Work: A/C went out 7/8/11. Tech. came on 7/9 when I was not home. My husband was under the influence which I believe the tech took advantage. He said the compressor was "fried" because every time the breaker switch was flipped to on position it immediately flipped off again. This compressor had been put in by this company 4 years before. Before it was over with my husband had signed a contract to replace not only a complete new A/C system but also a new furnace (which we had no problems) in our 7 year old home. My husband put $2000 on a credit card as down payment. AFTER that the tech said maybe the problem was a broken breaker switch. He waited while my husband ran to the hardware store for a replacement switch. The tech put in the new switch and the A/C ran fine. Bottom line : $11,000 breaker switch. RUN from this company!!!

Description of Work: Provided with a verbal guestimate of $1700 for replacement of AC unit; I figured it would be atleast around $2000; company debted my credit card for $3200. Several attempts to negotiate with the company to split the difference with both parties paying $600 since verbal guestimate was around $1700 have been unsucessful. Contacts in the company have not returned promised follow up calls and I have been "blown off" by owner with no response to 2 letters sent to him directly with the last one being sent certified mail. This company was referred to me by a relative. I thought I was getting a company I could trust to provide not only good technical service, but good customer service as well. I was wrong!
