+ -1 moreI called Prestige and spoke with the dispatcher, Diana. She was very concerned about my predicament and rearranged her schedule to get a technician out to me as soon as possible. The technician arrived and said my motor died. He left the house to pick up the motor and brought it right back to install it. Needless to say, the wedding was saved and I can't say how happy that company made me!
Description of Work: My air conditioning unit died while hosting a wedding at my house!

Description of Work: They came out to check on our HVAC system because it had stopped working during on of the hottest weeks we had had. They came out to check and tried changing out a few items. The technician came back the next day to finish the repairs and evaluation. We ended up replacing the transformer and some of the wires. It was up and running and cooling the house down before I got home which was a godsend as my family and I had been roasting previously.

+ -1 moreOur cost was only a $100 deductible due to our home warranty. They responded on time and did an excellent job. I highly recommend Prestige Heating and Air.
Description of Work: PRESTIGE HEATING AND AIR was on the list of several HVAC companies recommended by our home warranty. They repaired two of our four HVAC units that were not cooling. They responded within a very short period of time and completed the service of our units on schedule. They were very knowledgeable of geothermal HVAC units.

+ -1 morePrestige seems to be pretty fast and responsive. They are always courteous when I call them as well. I had a job around New Years that needed to be done and they came out on a holiday to repair a line for a gas heater. They have good and reasonable prices.

+ -1 moreOverall, things went well today. I am most disappointed with the cost of the drain cleaning, especially since my warranty company does not cover non-mechanical parts! Prestige charged $206.00 for cleaning the drains, a task which took less than 20 minutes to complete and involved hooking a shop vac to the drains and turning on the power! At least I know how to do this on my own next time. I told the technician I thought the price was outrageous but, since the high 90's were due the next few days agreed to the service. Will I use this company again, probably. I am researching maintenance programs to see if they are of value. So far, Prestige has given me the highest quote but, they also have been the only company (of 3 trialed) which has completd the job. As I said, I'll see how long this repair lasts and make my decision.
Description of Work: Prestige Heating and Air was called to my home because 2 other heating and air companies did not fix my air conditioner. I have a home warranty with my recently purchased home and the 2 previous companies sent to our home only looked at one aspect of the repair needed and left me with no cool air in 90 plus degree heat! My warranty company called Prestige and explained my dilemma, they came out at their first available opportunity and did a complete check of the outside unit and attic unit. Including, double checking the work performed by the previous companies! The technician replaced a couple of damage parts, checked on two sites where condensation leaked on our ceiling and cleaned the drains. I now am feeling cool and comfortable in my home. Hopefully, it lasts!
