Very cooperative!!

We were very satisfied with the quality of work from them. They were very knowledgeable, friendly and quick. They got the job finished in about three days, so we were happy with their service. We spoke with others about the price and feel that it was the same as others would have charged. We will use their services again in the future if it is necessary.

I had rented this property for approximatly 8 months and left extermination and pest control responsibilities up to the tenant, they failed to monitor and respond to a cockroach and flea problem that grew to an issue i had to resolve. The home is build recently and the roaches were being found under the appliances hatched as babies and scurring around. it was intolerable as I pride myself in my sanitation and cleaning skills. I called Elams Pest Control to a**** and estimate for fleas and roaches interior and exterior services for not only my home but the house next door which I rent out and decided to manage pest control at that house too. The owner of the company came to greet and meet me and to provide an estimate for BOTH homes. I DO NOT like upselling and crazy promises. The pitch had neither! - in short he would flea spray both yards, and treat and manage the houses for roaches with a garentee that if i see a roach come back after the treatment, he would immediatly schedual for a retreat of the home at no expense. I was skeptical - but went ahead and paid for service. . I saw several dead roaches after about a month, then saw a few roaches running around in my sink once night in novemeber and called them to retreat - i have not seen one since. My wife came to visit from her job in another state, and she only mentioned that there were a few dead roaches found under the sink and in some of the cupboards.. my reply was "money well spent, dead is a lot better find then a live one here" and she agreed.

They were very good. They came out and gave me an estimate. They stayed straight with the estimate when they did the work. They were very prompt. They came the next day and decided how to work. They managed to do the work when they said it's going to get done. When they left, I found one problem and they came promptly back and fixed it. They did miss out on one thing and they had to come back and fix it again, other than that it was good. They were professional.

In August 2007, Elam's sold us a Termite Bond. They came to our house and drilled holes in the foundation all around the house, which were then treated and supposed to be filled. The job they did filling holes was messy. They have been back once a year to inspect the house for the bond renewal. In July 2010, we discovered that more than a dozen holes drilled in the foundation of our garage had never been filled. We were very concerned that there could have been water damage to the foundation or walls above the holes, which are about 12 inches deep each. We paid a moisture control expert $185 to come out to the house to test for water damage and fortunately there was none. Because our $175 annual termite bond was due around this time, I wrote to Elam's about the problem and suggested that they could "make this right" by retreating and filling all the holes, and waive the $175.00 annual fee this one year to compensate for their workmanship and the $185 we had to spend for the inspection. I had to call them many times to get a response to my letter. The final response they gave was that they would come out and fill the holes, but that we didn't have to pay someone to inspect for damage because they would have done that for free. The fact that they had been out here three times already to inspect and never caught their mistake or that they would be inspecting for possible water damage from work that they did wrong did not seem to ring a bell with them. We are now in the position of not trusting them to fix their work but will have to spend another $1,500 to obtain a bond with another company. Rock and hard place...not good.

They were great. They seemed to do everything thoroughly and also guaranteed their work. The person who came out was really nice. He knew what he was talking about. The price wasn?t bad either.

They did a nice job. They are local and located in the center of downtown. They had originally put in a sump pump 20 years ago when I bought this house. They did some carpentry work for me four years ago. They also do pest control. It was a lot of money, but they had three or four people here all day and it was worth the money. They called the day after I called them. They were on time. I will definitely use them again.
