!Barney was able to make his schedule work to come out on short notice since I have a pending closing scheduled for my home that needed repairs finished as a result of an inspection. He was very friendly and professional. The work he did was nothing less than exceptional. I'd definitely call him again if I wasn't moving out of the area; he is highly recommended!

Simply put, the work performed by Barney's home repair far exceeded my expectations. Without a doubt, they are the best all around repair company I ever hired. Highly professional, detailed oriented, neat, excellent communication skills, honest, punctual, and friendly. 1. The estimate listed, in detail, exactly the work they would do, the labor cost for each task, material needed and the total cost. No guess work on my part. The final amount I owed, when they finished the job, matched the original estimated cost. No unexpected "hidden" costs. 2. Barney's home repair is family owned and operated. They do not sub-contract out any work. 3. Highly professional and detailed oriented. They used quality building material throughout and did not cut corners, They take pride in there workmanship (which was top notch) and ii shows in a really great looking bedroom. 4. Punctual.... They showed up every day exactly at 8:30 AM. 5. Neat.... The crew cleaned up as they worked, vaccumed and swept at the end of each day. 6. I received frequent status updates during the day and was often given a walk through, by Barney, of ech major step in the project before they actually started the work. 7. I like Barney's honesty. The hardwood floor in my living room has to be replaced because it sustained major water damage. I asked Barney if he would do it. He could have taken on the job just for the extra money, but instead he declined. Why? because he is not really good at removing/replacing hardwood floors and did not want to do a sub-par, poor quality job. 8. Pricing was excellent. His was the lowest of four bids but the work he did exceeded what the other companies were willing to do at a higher cost. Would I hire Barney again?...absolutely !!!! I trust him and his family to do quality work.

I am an absent landlord and Barney was the answer to my prayers. When my tenants of 3 years moved out there was a lot of cosmetic work to do and some other more involved repairs on door jambs, tiles, etc. I communicated with Barney via phone and text and he was always very prompt in responding to me. He completed the work in the time frame he gave me and the final bill was within a few dollars of the estimate. My tenants say the house looks great. I am so glad to have him on speed dial in my iphone contact list!

Since I've been home, I have had Barney do several small jobs and I appreciate Barney's honesty and commitment to quality work. Barney's prices are very reasonable - I gave him a B, rather than an A, on pricing, only because he's gonna do a quality, and not cut corners. The most recent job was fencing my backyard. We had difficulty locating several hidden property corners, and my wife and I had odd gate and alignment requests to accommodate our dogs. And Barney stick-built a beautiful, sturdy fence that is exactly what we asked for. You might find a cheaper price, but they'd probably be cutting corners on the job. I have called Barney for advice on my own DIY projects, and he has graciously given expert advice, saving me time and money. I recommend Barney's Home Repairs enthusiastically.

Barney was friendly, punctual, and professional, and hIs work was outstanding. I recommend him without reservation.

His fee for this was responsible. |Was hoping for discounted rates for those over 50. Im sure his rates are responsible, but when you have 7 other jobs it and my next visit will be almost 1,500. It hard to use him when you run discounts on others and you have to save money.. I wish you could run the special on Mr. Barney, because he truly was so nice and came to my rescue I cant remember the date but it was in Jan. Thank you Linda

We've used Barney's services since we moved in to our home in 2008 and his work is great.-He does what he says he'll do when he says he'll do it for the agreed on amount.

I noticed that I had a damaged shingle on my roof. Most places did not even want to take the time to replace a single shingle however Barney came out and had it taken care of quickly. I would recommend him.

Barney is absolutely phenomenal! We have been using him for over a year and he always goes above and beyond. We even trust him to be in our home when we are not there. This past time, he fixed some electrical issues for us as well as plumbing and it all went well.||I do not hesitate to recommend him to everyone I know.

They were great!! Did the job on a rental property were the tenant was very difficult to reach. Kept trying until they finally were able to do the job. Job was $500. Repairing drywall in 8 different places and matching the paint. I will be using them again.

Barney and his crew provided excellent service. I appreciated that he quickly got me an estimate, and was able to schedule the work for the following week. The quality of the work was outstanding.

They have done work several times for us and we are very pleased. They do very good work. They have always been on time. We have used them about 3-4 different times. They are very neat and clean everything up.

We were on a tight time frame, and they were not able to get to it as quickly as we needed it. He was great and responded to us right away. He was very professional. The price was a little high, but nothing that was excessive. The time frame just didn’t work for us.

My wife called Barney's Home Repairs to assist with hanging shelves on a sheet rock wall. Turned out that there were very irregular stud placements behind our sheet rock, then a gap, then a cinder block wall that was one of the original walls of the home prior to an addition being built (surpirse!). After hours of frustration we finally contacted Barney's Home Repairs. He came over within an hour, confirmed what we had discovered, then offered a detailed solution of how to procede. He even took the time to demonstrate exactly how the pieces we sould insert into the drywall would work and gaveus a second piece to take to Lowe's to buy the rest. In all, he was here for 30 mins. When asked what we owed him, he simply said to have a Merry Christmas and to call if we needed any help on other projects on the future... and we will! Very knowledgeable, no hesitation, immediately knew the answer, and set us up for success. If for some reason we cannot complete this project, we will certainly call him in to finish or for help with any other home projects that come up!

Pressure washed my home. Placed plastic around the screens on my patio so that water would not come in to the patio. He and his son and another helper took their time and did an excellent job. They cleaned up all the plastic when finished. In the original estimate he included a quote to trim a bush by the house. I trimmed the bush myself to save me a few dollars and he removed the quoted amount for that. In fact he was able to clean the soot that had been there for years from around the chimney. Very professional. He is a bit pricey but was worth it for a widow trying to maintain home for a sale in the future and not have any surprises. He has given me an estimate for other "honey do 's" however again a bit pricey. This has forced me to shop around again through Angie's List for another estimate. If the prices are in same ballpark, I certainly will go back to Barney. Thank you for making your List available

Barney Willis is our new 'go-to' handyman! After waiting >3 months for our last handyman to fix the same items (& they still weren't fixed), Barney had the entire list done within 4 hours, including pressure washing:-) Barney came out the day after my initial contact to provide an estimate. He arrived on time, was professional, and noted/photographed all jobs to be done, so that a detailed & accurate estimate was provided. To allow us to remain within our budget, Barney recommended some less important items be eliminated from our list. This was appreciated! His pricing is competitive. Barney completed the work to our 100% satisfaction. The crew arrived on time, and completed work in a timely manner. The house looks in great shape to sell. It went great, responded to my email very quickly, he called my wife as asked very quickly, the whole operation was painless and quick (same day service), I will use Barney's Home Repairs again, would not have asked for any better service

Barney did an excellent job. Did everything he said he would do. Did it professionally.

Mr . Willis promptly replied to my inquiry. He was able to come to my home two days after that inquiry to provide an estimate and then was able to complete the work right then. It took him about an hour and a half to repair a large hole in the molding at the bottom of a doorway in my dining room and hang a very heavy mirror (approx. 42" x 42") above my fireplace. The repair to the molding was amazing. You can not tell it was repaired much less ever broken. In hanging the mirror he measured the placement out precisely and hung it perfectly without any need to even adjust slightly. His charge was very reasonable and he was courteous and professional. I will definitely call him again the next time I have a need for a handyman.

It has been consistently excellent over the 5 years that we've lived here. We started using him in 2008 and probably use him a couple of times a year since then. They didn't charge me for the roofing service.

Barney came by twice to make measurements and to consult with me on a game plan. On the third trip he removed the five foot section of stair railing and took it to his shop for modification. On the fourth trip, he installed the removable section. My wife and I are very pleased with the job. Barney is a pleasure to work with. I highly recommend him.
