Barney was professional, friendly, showed up when he said, responsive to questions prior to doing the work and overall did an outstanding job at a fair price. It was a long wait due to his busy schedule, but there is a reason he's busy and it's called doing an outstanding job. He will definitely be the first guy I call when additional help is needed. Barney is the Best! He arrived exactly when he said he would and was friendly, competent, and efficient. He had helpful suggestions and even though the project ran bout 20 minutes beyond what had been contracted for, he graciously refused any more $. Great guy!

Everything went great. Barney and his assistant were very courteous and professional. They did a wonderful job repairing and installing several items I needed done around my home. They also did a wonderful job of lifting and leveling my air conditioning pad that had sunk into the dirt and was constantly siting in water every time it rained. Been going through a kitchen remodel over the past 3+ months and just kept hitting one hurdle after another with multiple problems, delays and excuses from several different contractors. One call to Barney and all the problems were eliminated. He called me back within an hour of me leaving a message. I emailed him some photos of what I needed done and everything was completed in just one day before the week was out. Professional, knowledgeable and more importantly: done once, done right! My wife is still smiling. Barney is my new "go to" guy.

Barney was terrific. Very professional; he provided a detailed estimate in advance, and the bill matched it almost exactly. He came when he said he would and stayed late on a Friday to get everything done. He was experienced in all areas in which we needed help, addressed all our problems, and did high quality work. In addition, he's a really nice person, enjoyable to be around. We'll definitely use him again, and we highly recommend him.

Barney did a great job with all the repairs, responded to me in a prompt manner, and even tried to help with a small carpet repair that came up while he was there. He adjusted his original estimate down a bit after he was able to use a smaller piece and it took less time for one of the repairs than expected - I feel like this honesty unfortunately doesn't happen often. He took pictures of the manual for the keypad he installed so that I would have a copy in case my tenants didn't save it. I will definitely be calling him for future home repairs and definitely would recommend!

He was very prompt, explained everything he was doing, and did remarkably skilled work fixing everything and matching the paint. The repairs are so good you can't tell there was ever anything wrong. In addition, Barney Willis uses email and texting, which is extremely convenient, compared to trying to always catch a phone call.

Contacted Barney through Angie's List where he had a significant number of very positive reviews. He was very quick to respond to our request and scheduled an appointment to review the work to be performed. Barney prepared an estimate and e-mailed it to us over the weekend. His pricing seemed fair so we signed the estimate for him to perform the work. All the work was done in a very professional manner and when he said it would be done. He and his assistant were very pleasant to work with. We would not hesitate to use Barney's Home Service again and would highly recommend him for anyone's need for handyman services.

The service was good, did a great job, very hard workers

Barney called and let me know when he would arrive and showed up on time. He had a young man assisting him. We went over the work to be done and they got right to it. They performed all of the jobs I had requested and even fixed our front storm door at no extra charge. Then he asked if there was anything else I would like to have done. Barney is professional and does quality work. Barney is an absolute gentleman and very easy to work with; I would hire him again and recommend him to others.

The pictures were quite large and the mirror was very heavy so it was a pleasure to see them hung so well. They offered very helpful suggestions as to placement and alignment and I really appreciated the advice they provided. The file cabinet looks great. They were very pleasant, efficient and professional. I was extremely satisfied with their work and will not hesitate to use them for all of my future home repairs.

I called Mr. Wills on a Saturday afternoon, fully expecting not to get a return call until the following business day, which was Monday; he called me back that evening!! We exchanged emails and he was able to squeeze us in at 6:30pm one evening. He said he'd be gone the following week and didn't want us to have to wait until he got back. He brought additional help was able to do our entire job in under 2 hours. He was so kind on the phone and very professional on the job. The work was excellent and the price came in slightly lower than quoted. They are wonderful and I highly recommend them and would use them again for sure!!

Mr. Barney was booked up and wanted to fit me in sometime next week but told him that my grandmother had passed away and I would be out of town so we can plan for the following week but Mr. Barney said no he would fit me in this week and came and did the great job that he did on Saturday.. That really touched my heart.. When he got here he took down and replaced the microwave in no time, then onto my closet, he was able to reuse the rack that had fell initially and he made sure that everything I needed to replace the rack he had with him so I wouldn't have to get anything. He put the rack up made sure it was anchored into the studs this time and fixed all the holes in the wall that the other rack had caused. Also upon coming into the door in the kitchen through the garage he noticed my door frame was loose and needed to be fixed he repaired this for me at no extra charge.. Mr. Barney is the best handyman ever and from this point forward he will be the one I use. Thanks Angie's list for having such great deals and people that carry them out. Again thank you Mr. Barney for the great job you done and the compassion you showed me by fitting me in due to the passing of my grandmother, I'm very satisfied customer!!!!

Barney was very professional, quickly responded to my emails and called me promptly after first contact. The original work was for just the door, toilet and fan repairs. However, Barney took the time to walk around inside and out of my home to ensure that there ware no other issues on the home. he found a broken dryer vent with a bird trying to make a nest. Barney quite possibly prevented a fire in my home because of his due diligence! Excellent integrity and a fair price from a professional. I would highly recommend Barney's home repair!

My children locked us out of the house, with our keys and phones inside. I had to put my shoulder into the door and break through the lock to get it open. This all happened at a horrible time for us as we are in the middle of selling our home. We got in contact with Barney and he responded promptly and setup an appointment with us for the repairs. Not only did he do an excellent job fixing the door, he didn't try to sell us on doing more repairs than were needed and had it all done within two hours.
