First impression was they were professional. Both quotes were at a reasonable amount of time. Unfortunately, we have to work with their schedule, meaning, if they have backlog we have to wait and extra couple of weeks to get it done.

The service went excellent. His family is in the business for the past 50 years and he knows the area around here. I have a lot a neighbors that come by to the front yard and they wanted to know what types of plants to what time they all bloom so there's always color in the yard.

My experience with them was not very good. They planted plants that were wrong to the area and ended up dying.

Durant came out, talked to us about what we wanted, drew a plan while at our house. I went to his nursery and saw his recommendations and made any necessary changes. The workers were prompt, professional, and finished the work in one day. Looks great! Would definitely recommend.

We will be doing landscape all the way around the house. We're taking everything what?s in front of the house and moved it to the back and put new stuff in the front and add additional gardens in the back. He is actually a noted arborist and he came out and talked to us about what we want to do and spend a half an hour of sitting around the property and he drew up a plan for that and anybody else came out and looked at it and then come in and go away and scratch their heads but basically I just want a ballpark what?s really doable before we get a plan and go the whole process. Two of their guys came back and asking that and when I went back for clarifications and that?s after the ball got dropped at that point. They?re excellent like taking their job into details per se. They are a family owned business for 30 years. He writes articles for local papers sometimes and he has been in public television stations down here as well. We didn?t know that when we called them. When we went on and then visit his nursery a couple of days later and goes around on a golf cart showing us what we he was suggesting for us and we up size some of the plants and actually the wife picked up two new plants to add in and we decided we like everything else.

He has done a couple of houses in my locality and it is really good. I hope he does some work with my backyard. I would definitely recommend him to others but the only thing is that he has a vision and sometimes it may not be exactly your vision because the neighbor next door said that she didn’t agree anything he wanted to do so he did it her way. But he would prefer to do it his way. I don’t have problems with that. I love my landscaping and he does exactly what he gave me. I am very happy with every plant. He is good and professional. He comes on site and the guys who come in are polite and don’t leave a mess and clean up. They took a rose bush out but I asked him to keep it. He is probably not the cheapest but he is worth it. One of the bush was crocked but they replaced it.

They are not cheap but if you want top level landscaping done Durant Ashmore is the company to call.
