+ 0 moreIt went great, just as we were told. Reported on time in the morning and proceeded to complete the job. All but the final sanding was completed by the end of the afternoon. The finish sanding of the new drywall ceiling was completed early the next morning. Cleanup and trash removal was completed. They had been recommended to me by a local business as good people to work with and they are.
Description of Work: Removed ceiling, installed a new circuit and recessed lights. Installed new ceiling.

+ 4 moreJim is diligent in his work, arranges for skilled craftsmen for the subcontractor work required, and obtains multiple price quotes on all materials and labor. We cannot say enough good things about the experience working with Jim and his follow-up on questions or requests we have made. We highly recommend Jim for any job, large or small. If he cannot do it himself, he will point you in the right direction, usually making contacts for you on his own time.
Description of Work: Jim built a garage-apartment for us in 2006: 3-car garage and 1200 sqft apartment on the upper level. This was done in 4 months, start to finish. Construction was high-end, both in the plans, which my wife and I developed, and in the quality of the work. In the six years since he completed the work, he had completed several small warranty jobs associated with this construction, all with no cost to us. In each case, he responded quickly and efficiently. In 2011 Jim began the main house, attached to the garage-apartment. This was done in 9 months and consisted of over 8,000 sqft of living space, workshop, media center, and hobby room.
