Andrew was responsive to our needs. Also very patient as we had originally scheduled work in June, then due to changes we pushed it off until September and he was very professional and made himself available on relatively short notice. Quality of work well done. I trust him completely which is hard to find in industry.

As usual, Andy worked fast and well. He cleaned up quickly after himself as well. He is true or lower than the his quoted estimate. We did not even know he was around till we saw the work. The stairs are sturdy, the mini bar fixed and also the fan fixed in the guest room. I have another review on Andy's work on Angieslist and we will surely hire him again for more work if needed.

We asked Andrew for an opinion and estimate regarding a house on which we were making an offer to purchase. He was very prompt and thorough. We did not point out all the things that gave us concern, but Andrew spotted those and a few more as well. These were major repairs such as leaking gutters and rotting fascia, as well as replacing a deck (the only way to access the kitchen entry). He gave us a complete written estimate within a few days. The sellers did not want to negotiate on the sales price (the estimate was for approximately $16,000, which was reasonable for the work to be done) so we didn't buy the house. However, we were very impressed with his knowledge and professionalism. He took time to point out and explain in detail all the work that needed to be performed and I had full confidence in his estimate. We will certainly be in touch with him in the future when we need any repairs or construction!

Andrew is very professional, proficient and efficient in his work. we were very happy to have him as our builder for this project, especially being relatively new to the upstate and not knowing many folks that can do this kind of work competently. we were constantly adding little jobs to the project and he was happy to oblige each time. he also worked with us by allowing us to perform some of the work ourselves as a cost saving measure. Andrew provided a great design for us and the cabinets he got for us worked out great. all the other pieces fell into place very easily, and he was there throughout the process, design to finish. we couldnt be happier with A.B.W. Construction.

Andrew is extremely professional and timely. The estimates were quick and reasonable. We had a wonderful experience working with Andrew and a few of his team members. He also helped us out of an electrical crisis while my kitchen remodel was going on. Can't say enough good things about his professionalism and quality of work!

Andrew and his crew were prompt, efficient, and neat. He responded to my initial inquiry with a detailed estimate and even gave the addresses of former clients so I could take a look at work he'd performed. The finished product looks great.

From the very start, we had an excellent experience with Andrew of ABW Construction. He answered our initial call, and came to the house the next day. We received a quote by email that day. It was not long before he was able to fit our small job into his schedule. He and Jason arrived precisely when he said they would. A horrible, unavoidable mess was made as the drywall and old insulation came down, but they took every precaution to protect the cabinets, appliances, and floor, and did all that they possibly could to contain the dust. At day's end they spent a substantial amount of time vacuuming, mopping and wiping down all flat surfaces. Two days later Andrew came back to sand the repaired ceilings. Again more dust. Again it was thoroughly cleaned up. We now have smooth, even ceilings that are ready to paint. Andrew is very skilled at finishing drywall while working overhead. Not an easy feat. We are totally satisfied with the work that we had done, and would both highly recommend ABW Construction to others, and use them again if the need arises. On a more personal side - both Andrew and Jason were easy to have in our home, polite, considerate, tidy, and kind to our dogs!

I was very pleased with the work done by Andrew. I had him quote me both the complete job and just installing the vent through the roof. I was able to run the duct work to the attic myself, so I had him just install the vent. He went out of his way to get the exact shingles to match what is on the roof. He arrived on time, went right to work and had it done quickly. Since the job required cutting a hole in the roof, I wanted someone who knows what they are doing and Andrew does. He left me the extra shingles and also he gave me a 5% Angie's List discount without me asking. He did the exact job that I wanted for a very reasonable price.

Andrew worked hard to complete the difficult job on time & budget. He and Jason (employee) handled themselves very professionally. Andrew arrived on time and communicated well. Surprisingly Andrew did a lot of the work himself with impressive results. The work we asked him to do was not easy and the results exceeded expectations. We were very impressed (not easy to do)!! Other contractors questioned our request and looked puzzled, while Andrew asked good questions and seemed to know right away how to complete the job. We received a quote for the work on the same day he came out to take a look. His price was very fair. At the time of quotation he was booked a month out but was able to fit us in a couple days later and worked around our schedule. At the end of each workday he made sure everything was cleaned up, even making sure our new wood floors stayed clean. All around we had a great experience with ABW Construction and plan on having them do more work for us.

He came on time and he was very professional. He and his partner finished the three rooms of molding and created a new storage area all in one day. They were neat and you could really tell he knew his profession. Unfortunately, the second floor air conditioner was not working well, it was a very hot day. and they had to work in that heat. They never complained and did a fabulous job.!! I will call him again, as I was so pleased with the outcome and his work.

Andrew told us there would be a wait. When an opening occurred he contacted us and had the job done the next day. His work on this and earlier masonry and repair projects is excellent. He found problems and fixed them.

Andrew is very responsive, friendly, and profession. He provided quality work at a fair price. I will use him again for future services and projects.

We noticed a water mark on the garage ceiling after periods of heavy rain but couldn't figure out where the water had come in. Saw good reviews for Andrew on this website and called him. Super prompt and super polite - Andrew came over and found the problem. Turns out proper flashing had never been installed for the window over the garage. Andrew installed & sealed Tyvek and flashing. We will definitely call him again.

We could not be more pleased with Andrew! He is extremely professional, prompt, intelligent, well mannered, and provides quality work! Andrews listens, provides good feedback, and will work until you are satisfied. We were impressed with the range of his skills....he is able to do whatever needs o be done, and do it well. We will use Andrew again, and will not hesitate to recommend him to family and friends. I will borrow from a previous poster, and suggest that you "just hire Andrew, you will not be disappointed"!

CONSTRUCTION In my many years as an Interior Designer and Real Estate Agent, I have worked with scores of building contractors and subcontractors on new construction and renovation projects throughout California, Hawaii, Vietnam, Virginia and Washington, DC. My father was a building contractor who was known for his fine finished carpentry in the homes he built and instilled in me a very, very discerning eye when it comes to quality construction. The renovation process started with a bid, he showed up on time and quickly gave a fair bid for the project. Work began and he was on time everyday until the project was finished. Andrew took control over all aspects of the job and made sure to leave the job site cleaned up each day and was very respectful of my Mom's home and her special circumstances. Andrew is a great communicator, returns phone calls promptly, is computer literate when it comes to invoicing and contracts and above all, his work is TOP NOTCH! Andrew, the owner of ABW construction is very professional, prompt and friendly! He showed up at the time agreed upon and worked very hard and consistently until the job was completed. He pays a lot of attention to detail and is willing to listen to your ideas. He is very knowledgeable about various lights and the installation process. The dry wall repair looks as if the lights were added during the initial construction phase. You can not tell the lights were a later addition. Andrew did such a great job we plan on hiring him to replace some rotten exterior columns and other trim work that needs to be replaced around our garage and deck door. I would highly recommend ABW construction.

Andrew was very thorough, conscientious, and dependable. His estimate was submitted in a timely manner and once accepted he began work almost immediately. While I was still trying to obtain estimates for other work needed, Andrew completed his job. The work was of high quality and completed within the timeframes that were discussed. I would not hesitate to call on Andrew again for home repairs or remodeling.

Andrew from the initial contact was very responsive. He answered all of my emails promptly and was very patient with us. We were living in Atlanta and doing all of this long distance. Andrew is the consummate professional. He showed up to work the 2 days we had the snow storm when no one else did! His work is amazing. He is very creative ; he can make anything work and was very helpful in the design process. We would definitely hire him again .

Andrew installed a porch roof for us, his quality of work is outstanding, and he is trustworthy, honest and punctual we already recommended him to friends and neighbors, and we will ask him again to do our next improvement project, when we are ready thanks Andrew

Andrew is great! He is trustworthy, punctual and very competent. He called me right back and installed my windows the next day. He showed up on time, installed the windows and cleaned up. Everything was left perfectly clean. I would definitely recommend him and plan on using him to install dry stone on my living room wall. It is so hard to find a contractor you can trust, he certainly is someone I will call again and again.

We moved from the area and were trying to get our house on the market. We called Andrew on New Year's Day and he was able to promptly get back to us with a quote even though he said he would probably be booked and not be able to do the work as soon as we wanted - then he surprised us and said he thought he could fit us in. We have been extremely happy with his professionalism, the quality and promptness of replies. I have given his name to my friends and feel bad we are moving from the area - if he could travel a few states away we would have him do work on our new home.

Andrew came when he said he would to look at the job, explained what he would (and would not) do and provided a quick proposal(via email which I like). Once we decided to accept it, I was able to communicate via email or text making it very easy for everyone to know what each other said so there was really no way to "assume" anything. He was always on time, called if he got delayed and worked basically non stop until the job(s) was finished. We could not find anything we did not like and will not hesitate to call him for our next projects. One thing that also impressed my wife and me, was how neat and professional both he and his vehicle/equipment were - it may not be a good indication of the type of work someone does, but to us, it matters. If he would have shown up in a beat up old truck, given me a hand written quote , walked through our house with his shoes one, smelled like smoke, etc., we would not have picked ABW Construction. I am looking forward to working with Andrew again and have already recommended him.

Andrew did an excellent job. He was courteous, prompt and paid great attention to detail. We plan on hiring him for additional jobs.

The original estimate was for a worst case scenario of replacing most of the bathroom floor tile ($1200). Andrew, to our surprise, was actually able to do the job earlier than expected. During the first day of diagnosing and pulling up the improperly laid tile, He determined that approx half the tile would need to be pulled up and replaced. He was in and out in a couple of days, and we couldn't be happier with the finished results. We would definitely use Andrew again and highly recommend him.
