 + 0 moreOleg and his crew were fantastic. We went on a vacation so they had the place to themselves, but that also meant there was a time constraint. They were on time, did exactly what they said they would, and the quality of the workmanship and red oak flooring was phenomenal. I would recommend them to anyone who needed hardwood flooring work of any kind.
Description of Work: Tear out old flooring and install new site-finished hardwoods.

Description of Work: We had our hardwood floors sanded down, stained and polyurethaned. Oleg Bonar, the owner, oversaw the work and did some of it himself. When we had some questions regarding a couple of areas, he came over that day as we were moving back in and had the areas repaired the next day! Excellent work and he is a man of his word! I would highly recommend Viking and Oleg!

I had a honey oak floor which was very dated. They sanded the floor down and did the stain. The floor didn't get as dark as I wanted, not because anything they did but because of the type of wood I had. The owner actually did my job himself to make this look great. He added stain to the clear coats and even worked on Saturday to finish. Oleg was very responsive and the end result was gorgeous. I highly recommend Viking Hardwood Floors.

 + -1 morethey came out and gave an estimate for the work. I had hardwoods through the house but the bedrooms had carpet with cow trails forming. it was time to put down new flooring or replace the carpet . Viking's price was the best estimate, the workers showed up on time, put up plastic to protect areas such as shelves in the closets so no hidden dust for me to clean up later, they did the work in teams (two guys pulled up carpet, prepped floor and laid the wood, others stained and sanded, varnished) in a little over a week. They matched the new hardwood beautifully, a smooth blend between the old and new wood. they vacuumed as they went with minimal dust left over, even carried off the bags of saw dust.

 + 0 moreGreat people to work with. Easy to review details. They were ontime, both in quoting and installation. They worked hard in making sure everything was done. We really enjoyed working with them, and the results were excellent.
Description of Work: Refinished hardwood floors (sanded, restained, etc). Took out carpeting and installed new hardwoods. Took out stair rails and ballisters. Replaced with wrought iron and new bannisters. Stained and finished entire job.

Description of Work: I asked for a quote for engineered wood flooring sales and installation for about 1500 sq. ft. Owner was eager to make quote and aggressive in sales pitch; provided sample of requested Brazilian teak flooring delivered to the house. The quote was approximately $13,000 which was about $2500 less expensive than two other quotes. However, I checked on advertised credentials of BBB accredited member and contractors license. However, I learned from BBB site and phone call that Viking had a previous rating and was accredited, but did not pay fee last year so he and company are no longer active. I questioned him about it, which cause him to be very defensive. We did not hire because of lack of truth in advertising.

Description of Work: Installed a tiled-granite inlay for our hardwood kitchen floor- They also managed a tricky problem of getting the tiles in flush with my custom cabinets that have designer feet.
