PRECISION POOL CARE

We have been using Precision Pool Care for weekly cleanings and repairs on our pool equipment for the last 6 months or so. We are very happy with everything about them and recommend them to anyone who has a pool!

Service is always excellent. They are always on-time and very thorough. They have inspected and repaired things that our former servicer never ever checked.

when I hired this service, I aked for the sand to be changed in the sand filter, was told it shouldn't need it, yet no one checked it out to be sure. The pool is still green after 1 month & now being told the sand probably needs to be replaced, yet can't get a quote or date it can be done, not sure why. . Very frustrated that it is taking so long to get the pool up & running, & that the company does not spare the time to get the job done correctly in a timely manner. A air relief valve was broken off of the filter (can't backwash without that) & the company is assuming responsibility for breaking it. It's going on a month now, still not installed. Told it was a special order & due to Memorial Day, it would be the end of May before in. The owner sent a text Tuesday saying it was in & was coming out to put the valve in, but still not in. The only responses are excuses. I called a pool parts supply company today & surprise - it is an $8.00 part & I can have on Tuesday & today is Thursday. The pool is swamp green. The company comes out for 5-15 minutes, but can't tell any inprovement. Still have no quote or date for changing out the sand filter. there is quite a bit more to this fiasco, but just to sum it up: I've been charged quite a bit of money for lots of frustration & no blue pool. In 16 years of owning a pool, this has been the worst experience ever.

Provider was on time, took his time to make sure everything was correct and in working order. Talked about what he did and what we should expect to happen. Left all the material for items installed. We were very happy with Precision Pool Care! Will use again.

Precision Pool Care was very responsive upon being contacted and was able to schedule a diagnostic visit for the heater quickly. They correctly diagnosed and repaired a problem with the ignitor that another company had incorrectly diagnosed as a $1,700 mother board. While doing sprint maintenance on the filter they identified broken filter grids, and showed me the damage, explained what they were showing me, and provided me with repair options. The work was done quickly and efficiently, and they cleaned everything up afterwards.

They are excellent. They are always on time, they will call well in advance, our service date is usually on Thursdays and if it falls on a holiday, to make sure that they can come out on a different day and make sure that it is okay. The technicians are helpful and will answer any questions that I have. They are very good at noticing issues that are outside of the normal service agreement, they will let us know if they found an issue. They are very responsive and thorough.

Precision Pool did a great job of helping to get our pool back in shape after a rough summer of heavy rainfall that threw the chemical balance off so much that nothing seemed to work to get it clear again. They also repaired / replaced some filter grids and an underwater light that was not working. This is a professional group and I will absolutely use them again.

We are new pool owners and know very little about pools. Precision Pool Care came out and showed us how to operate all of our equipment. We knew our motor was bad and had already gotten an estimate from another company that we did not feel comfortable with. Precision Pool Care gave us a price that was a little bit higher, but we knew we made the right decision wen we chose them. They are very professional and their customer service is excellent! They were on time, extremely knowledgeable and reasonable priced. We spent a lot of money on this pool and we wanted a company that we could trust and use for all of our pool issues. They were so great that we signed up for weekly cleanings with them and have been extremely happy with their performance and service.

I had contacted precision pool care for pool inspection in a house which I was planning to buy. I was remained of my inspection a day before and tech person arrived promptly on time and did his inspection. I was given the report after I asked for it ( Maybe they forgot). I asked them based on the report as what would be cost of timer/freeze protection, remote etc...and I was told that I would have to pay another $95 per hour for diagnosis. So if I take a car to workshop for diagnosis..don't they tell me the cost so similar thing should have done or when home inspection is done..the inspector might tell you a ball park figure ..so if precision pool care cannot give estimates for their inspection it would be wise on their part to inform the customer in advance and also let the customer know that they do only visual inspection for their pool inspections . Would I recommend them for pool inspection ...No

We had a great experience with this company. They were easy to schedule, followed up promptly, and showed up on time to complete the work. They were quick and professional and stuck to their estimate.

Very nice to work with. First contact was with a gentleman named Nick. He was very nice and professional and said he would send someone out asap. The Technician, Rob, showed up and was ready to figure out what was wrong. He assessed it pretty quickly and it was an easy fix...clogged impeller on my pump. Well, then the next week I noticed that my pool was getting a little on the greener side than i like. So I took sample into the pool store. All tests said i had plenty of salt just no chlorine was being made (according to pool store rep). So I quickly called Nick with Precision Pool and he sent Rob out to save the day again. I needed a new chlorinator and the circuit board was also on the fritz. The parts arrived and Rob quickly came out to install it. Precision Pool worked great for me and I highly recommend them. I will call them again for any work on my pool.

I left a message that I had a big water leak in my pool pump house - they called me back the same day - and made an appointment right away. They had to order the part but it came in with in 3 days. They installed it - all is good.

PRECISION POOL EXCEEDED ALL OUR EXPECTATIONS! We had been in & out of town for most of the spring and wanted to be available when the pool was opened. We had joined Angie's List and decided to go with a company that had high ratings. After much research, we called Precision Pool the week before the July 4th holiday. Nick, the office manager, answered the phone & very patiently, professionally and lots of understanding listened to my questions & concerns about our pool. He noted my concerns & expectations and then transferred me to Gina, the owner. She scheduled a consultation the next day to look at the pool which she personally attended along with Tyler (great, friendly & experienced technician). After discussing all our options, we decided the only way to have it ready for July 4th was to drain & pressure wash the pool. Rob, expert pool technician who was also friendly & wise, came the next day. He talked us through the things that needed to be done and got our approval before spending all day draining, washing & repairing pool plumbing. Before leaving, he started the process of refilling the pool which would take most of the weekend. He then came back on Monday to add and regulate chemicals to balance the pool water. Gina also came by several times to check on the progress. We also got a printed copy of everything that was done to the pool for our records. Nick called to verify the charges before charging our credit card. Needless to say, our pool was ready July 2, in plenty of time before our family arrived for the holiday! Precision Pool has a large expert, friendly, professional team that loves what they do & it shows. We were able to put our email & credit card on file with them so we could receive an email invoice & pay monthly automatically. No additional paperwork or extra charges for using a credit card! Yeah! We were so impressed with Precision Pools that we have scheduled regular weekly service.

We had recently had some work done on our pool pump by another company only to have the entire impeller assembly come apart shortly after they had "fixed" it. To make matters worse the pump came apart late on a Sunday afternoon. I quickly looked on Angie's List for a repair company that was close by that did emergency repairs. Precision Pool Care is very close to our house, advertised emergency services were available, and was highly rated. I sent them a request for contact through Angie's List and promptly received a call from Nick asking what he could do to help. i explained what had happened and he said he would dispatch a technician in the morning. The technician arrived as promised and was able to diagnose the problem and make the required repairs on site. This experience was further proof to me that not all contractors are created equal and that if you want it done right you need a winner. Precision Pool Care is definitely a winner to me. Thanks again to Nick and his crew for getting us back in the water.

The service tech came out because we were having problems keeping our chemicals in check. Not only did she figure out the problem quickly, she answered a lot of questions for me. She got my parts quickly, and didn't pressure me to have them install them, but agreed that I could do it myself. Due to this professional service, I have signed up for bi-weekly service.

The response to my call made on a Friday was quick--the following Monday. I called this company because it was rated highly by Angie's List and because my usual pool repair company could not provide me with a date for the repairman to come by. The service man came on Monday and got the specs for my motor, and that day managed to come back and install the motor. I would highly recommend this company for professional, prompt service.

They were on time and followed my instructions. I asked that they call when they were on the way so that I did not have to sit and wait for them. They did exactly that. They also gave me very useful advice on how to better maintain my pool on my own. i would definately use them again

Called multiple companies on Angie's List Tuesday evening. Precision Pool Care was attentive and told us they could perform the work the next day. Tech called prior "On my way, should be there in 20 minutes or less". Arrived, did not waste any time. Called me at work to tell me all was going well and again when completed. Asked if there was anything else he could do. I called to check on the indication of the indoor controller. It was in "maintenance mode" not "auto mode". Technician changed the controller to the auto mode....and a good thing with the possibility of freezing tonight. If temp goes below 35F, freeze protection will kick in automatically. A good thing in the Carolinas as we often use the Heated Spa, so the pool / spa stays open year round here. All work was performed in a professional manner. The install went extremely well. Will use again and highly recommend. Thanks Precision Pool Care!

My pool was fairly clean so they didn't do to much. I may use them again if I needed to.

Comapny was quick to respond from an email for a quote. I explained I was not happy with my current service, and was looking for a startup and regular service. We were responded to, and told we could not be attended to for 3 weeks. I can understand its beginning of pool season, but tell perspective clients up front that we an not accommodate you immediately on your request. If staffing is an issue at he height of your season, this does not leave one with a comfortable feeling if weather changes or problems arrive that need to be immediately attended to. All I would ask is upfront issues be mentioned at the time of service requests or new client requests.

We have been very pleased with their work.

They came at the appropriate time and they guy was professional. There was 1 problem with the visit. After cleaning the filter, the technician went to add DE back into the system. When he poured the DE into the skimmer, the cleaner was running and the DE went into the cleaner filter and the basket at the pump. I noticed the pump was running very loud for a couple of days afterward and I finally found the filter and basket full of DE, which was causing the pump motor to work extra hard and be very loud. DE also came out of the jets and sprayed in the pool itself. While this was very frustrating (I know not to put DE in when the cleaner is on) it was clearly a mistake. Once I brought it to their attention, management was quick to respond and offer solutions. I would use them again to clean my filter because I dont think it would happen again

It went very well. We were very pleased. They came out and took care of what they said they were going to. We haven’t had any problems again.

They were timely. Everything up to this point has been fine.

They are awesome. They provide excellent customer service. They really help you understand what is going on and why it is going on. They give you options on how to fix the problem. They are really dedicated to the job. They do not leave a situation unfixed. If something is beyond them, such as a decking issue, they were able to sup ploy with names of contractors that could fix the issue. One of their contractors did fix the issue, but didn’t clean up the way they should have. They went to the contractor on my behalf to have them clean up their mess.
