Provider was punctual. Had someone there helping him. Work began to install two 6" recessed lights in two alcoves. Johnathon found a wooden beam in the center of the alcove and prohibited the lights from being centered in the alcove. He stopped, discussed the issue with me, and we agreed on a path forward. I was not happy that he didn't use a tool to detect this obstruction ahead of time. By the time it was discovered the electrical panel had been pulled and wired for the recessed lights. Johnathon was more than understanding, and we discussed the best way to proceed such that he could complete the job and I would be satisfied. I can honestly say he cared about me as the customer and took the time to insure we agreed on the plan moving forward. I can't say enough for his professionalism. I am awaiting information from him on whole house surge protection and will consider him for other projects as well. I definitely believe you will be satisfied with his work.

Even though I was just calling for information, Johnathon took the time to explain the safety issues with Zinsco panels and gave me advice about what to do with the home I'm considering purchasing. He was knowledgeable and helpful. I will be calling him for electrical work if/when I buy the house.

This was a last minute request to keep closing on schedule and they delivered.

My house was hit by lightning in the middle of the year and part of the damage was related to the kitchen outlets not working. Jonathan was very professional when I contacted him, gave me an idea of what the possible issues might be and provide me a very rough ballpark estimate of costs over the phone. We set an appointment for 2 days later. He came to the house on time and schedule, was very professional, courteous, and friendly. He took the time to explain what all the possibilities were and what the various cost issues could be. He then did troubleshooting on the outlets and determined that only 1 GFI was damaged. When that was replaced, all other outlets began working properly. He also installed a whole home surge suppressor in the main junction box. I found Jonathan to be personable, knowledgeable, and professional. He is certainly someone I would use in the future for any electrical needs.

I was extremely happy with the service provided by Johnathon Brown Electric. From my initial contact until Johnathon put away his last tool, he was professional and very detailed. Johnathon worked at my house for 2 days doing all of the installations and repairs I requested. Initially, Johnathon came to my house to review the work I requested and to give me a quote. He sat down with me and reviewed all of the work I requested and we agreed upon a price. His quote and the work he would perform was very detailed and I liked that. Johnathon called me while on his way to my house to give me an approximate time of arrival. Johnathon told me when he would be here and he was on time. A quality that many contractors do not possess. He & his fellow worker were dressed professionally and came ready to work. During the entire process, Johnathon continued to keep me aware of the progress of his work and would review with me light locations etc to make sure I was happy before he would drill. I live in an older home and Johnathon installed 14 ceiling can lights among other various repairs that I needed. My wife and I couldn't be happier with the quality of his work. Our house looks so much more modern. I will be using Johnathon for all of my future electrical work. Call Johnathon without hesitation. We contacted Mr. Brown to set an appointment, and one was made promptly. He asked what we wanted in the way of his services, and after telling him, he said he could perform the job within the two hours that we had purchased according to the Angie's List Deal. He called the morning of the appointment to tell us he was en route (always helpful). He arrived on time, and proceeded to work. Johnathon did an excellent job, and we were more than pleased! He is a young, professional businessman. He looked neat and has a nice personality. He had some excellent ideas and suggestions for future projects at our house, which we appreciated. We are definitely doing business with Johnathon Brown Electric again. In fact, we are wondering why we haven't already made a 2nd appointment! Couldn't ask for it to go any better. I work from home, so Jonathan installed the fan very quickly while I was able to continue to work. He even put up with my "starved for attention" dog.

Extremely professional, clean cut young man who knows what he is doing. Will definitely being calling him for any electrical needs in the future. I was very impressed.

Everything went very well. Johnathon got the work done quickly and efficiently. I had purchased a an Angie's List big deal for $89 for two hours worth of electrical work. My husband and I were very pleased that Johnathon completed everything we wanted to have done within that time frame. He was also very neat and clean. As effecient as one could be. Things were done precisely and in very timely manner. Johnathan is blessed with an outgoing personality and is a very moral, respectful young man. Johnathon came out on schedule, called before he arrived was neatly dressed and such a nice person. Covered his shoes before entering the house then listened as I explained my problem. He told me what he would do and what price he would charge before he did anything. Very professional. He found my problem and gave me my options for fixing it all within the first price quoted. I could not have found a better electrician and would recommend Johnathon to anyone.

Johnathan was clean cut, polite and informative, willing to do and solve several issues. I felt very comfortable having him in my home and confident in his ability. He spent time off the clock to introduce himself and his experience, and discuss my plans. I really appreciated that . The alarms in our home (all 6 of them) kept going off. We called Johnathon and he came out and replaced them the same day we called. In fact it was around 5pm when his day should have been over and he helped us out.

Phoned Johnathon saturday as an emergency. I could not reach my regular electrician on the phone, and they did not have a number to call for emergency. Looked at Angie's list for help. I was having a party that night and I realize that the fridge in the garage had no electricity. Checked my GFC in the bathroom and it was not tripping back to normal. Johnathon came, checked all the outlets in the garage, screened porched and front of the house and realize that it was the front one that trigger the problem. The work itself was quite basic for an electrician I am sure, but what impressed me with Johnathon is it's responsiveness, professionalism, price (no super charging me because it's saturday emergency) and the quality of his service. He explains price in advance so no surprise. He is clean, well dress, no cigarette smell and put those slippers to protect my floors. He is a keeper. I highly recommend him.

I received my normal Angie's list emails on different specials and coupons. In this email was a coupon for 2 hours or electrical labor for $89. I decided to call the electrician to get some additional information on how the coupons work. After talking with Johnathon for about 20 minutes we had set a time for him to come out and give me a quote. When I met Johnathon he was very pleasant and great to talk to. I told him the long list of things we wanted done. He was very patient with me we narrowed down the quote to reflect four jobs 1) Add five recessed lights to our kitchen 2) Add a flood light to the back of the house 3) Add three pendent lights in the kitchen 4) Add outlet to the back of the house. The quote I received was great for all the work we discussed. After about three weeks of trying to schedule the best time to complete the work and changing the type of work (I had a lot going on work, family etc...) Johnathon was very accommodating and a pleasure to work with. Johnathon completed the work today and did a great job. I would/and have already recommended him to friends and family. Johnathon Brown was excellent at all levels as stated above. He took particular care to cover his shoes when entering the house. He was friendly the moment I met him. His work ethic was exemplary. He worked quickly and purposefully explaining what he was doing all along the way. He installed indoor and outdoor fixtures. He returned when one outdoor motion detector light was not functioning properly. It proved to be the motion detector, and not due to his efforts. Very professional and helpful.

I called on Monday and Johnathon was able to come out Wednesday. I walked him around the house to show him the different projects that needed done. He worked up a price quote and went over it with me so there were no surprises. Including a trip to the supply store, Johnathon was able to complete all of the projects within a few hours. Throughout the day, Johnathon was very professional and explained what he needed to do and why. I will definitely keep his name and use him again.
