Great service from start to finish. Super nice staff. Same day response to initial email, fit the job into the same week, arrived as promised and the job came in under the estimated range!

The service was exceptional! Brian was very friendly and bent over backwards to accommodate all of our needs. I would highly recommend them and will be contacting them again for any future needs.

Johnathon was very responsive to our need for a receptacle installation for a security camera. He suggested putting the receptacle in the attic so to avoid any intruder from unplugging our security camera. He was very professional and very neat with his installation and clean up. Thought the price was very reasonable for the amount of work having to be up in the attic. Yes, I would use him again and give his name to others.

Our GFI breaker kept popping. Johnathan came over and figured out problem in a few minutes. The wiring from house to front pond was incorrect. He told my husband what kind of pipe to use and how deep to dig trench for the 14 feet distance needed. My husband offered to do that because he was told it would be about $1,000.00 if Johnathan did it all. Johnathan gave estimate of his part to be between $200.00 and $300.00 which seemed an awful big estimate since he knew just what he had to do. The trench was dug, pipe put in and ends covered to keep rain, etc. out by that evening. We called to inform them it was ready and were told they would call back to set up time for him to return. No return call, so we called them again.. We got scheduled for a few days later and he came at that time. He ran a wire through the pipe, put a box on each end and plugged in our fountain to outlet on front of our house. There was a box out there that he could have used and only would have had to add one box, something he and my husband had discussed previously. When he arrived he stated he didn't remember what he quoted my husband and it would be about $300.00 and he knew we had an Angies coupon. He commented my husband did a good job getting everything ready. Didn't take long for Johnathan and his helper to do job. When it was time to pay, the price had again went up. He charged $360.00 less coupon for total of $340.00. I admit I do not know what elecricians charge per hour, but the fact that it changed so many times, really doesn't sit well with me. He was very friendly and did do a good job. I would only recommend him if you get close estimate in writing before job is started.

I contacted Johnathan via Angie's List. He was immediately responsive to my request, setting up an appointment date/time that worked best for me. He arrived at the appointed time just a little late and was very apologetic (I fully understood how those things go when juggling other work demands). He did call me to let me know of his status and informing me of when he would arrive. I needed to have GFI receptacles, along with the necessary wiring and materials, installed in 2 bathrooms. The house was built in 2 phases, one in 1947, the other in 1964 or so, which contained old 2-wire (no ground) 120V circuits, mixed with newer 3-wire circuits (with ground). Both installations were going to be very tricky and difficult because of access issues and wiring/circuit availability. Several light fixtures would have to be removed along a medicine cabinet, cabinet drawers, etc, to get access and to route wiring. Johnathan spent a good bit of time inspecting/determining what was required to do each bathroom and gave me several scope alternatives and the costs for each, all of which would meet the NEC. All of his alternatives were good, practical solutions and I chose the ones that best met my needs, time and cost considerations. Note, which is my habit when dealing with contractors, I did not let on that I am a (retired) licensed Electrical Engineer in SC. So, I was very aware of the problematic issues he would encounter and the electrical codes that applied. If the work had been easy, I would have done it myself, but in this case i preferred to have a licensed electrician who would be much more quailified to handle the job. Johnathan started his work immediately and completed the work in about 3 hours. Both installations were done flawlessly and cleaned up to my satisfaction. I would certainly consider hiring Johnathan again, he was very professional, courteous and conscientious.

Mr. Brown and his apprentice surveyed the work needing doing, we discussed options and the work began. Since this was an underground cable extra care was taken to prevent moisture affecting the repaired connection.

Excellent Job! Johnathon was very professional and punctual. The dryer cord was an easy installation however, installing the recessed lighting conversion pendant was a bit more challenging. He offer two ways to remedy the problem and gave me the cost of each. I opted for the cheaper fix and he accomplished it without any other problems. Already considering my next project for him.

Johnathan and his assistant did a great job. He wanted to make sure he is delivering the service you need and there was no miscommunication. He was very courteous and knowledgeable. He gave guidance and sound advice, and I enjoyed working with him very much.

I appreciated Jonathon's thorough explanation of his pricing and what he was doing. He was courteous and professional. We had snow/rain mix the night before, and I appreciated his use of booties when he entered the house.

The work went very well. At the initial visit to review our needs and provide a quote, Johnathon gave us a number of good ideas for placement and type for of the new lights. In fact from his advice, we were able to make some significant changes in our original plan. Johnathon worked with us to refine his initial suggestions and the final result exceeded our expectations. His communication were excellent and timely.The actual work entailed removing old obsolete fixtures from the ceiling and installing can lights in an array that complimented the appearance of the cabinets. Additionally it provided under-counter illumination where non previously existed. He arrived on time on the appointed day with an associate. They both worked steadily throughout the day and into the following day. The work was completed cleanly and on time. Johnathon returned some time later at our request to install a new fan, and hang new lights in a dining area. Overall we were very please with the professionalism, responsiveness and quality of his work

Johnathon is well versed in his craft. As he was doing his work; he explained what he was doing and why he was doing it. I appreciate a craftsperson that does that. I, in fact, felt like I was getting a mini-course in electrical work. This makes me very comfortable with the work the craftsperson is doing; I wish more crafts people explained what they were doing when they were doing it. He was very efficient, thorough, polite, and careful. Wore booties in the house so as to not "dirty" the floors. As he was showing us things, he would ask our permission before placing anything on a table or counter. Johnathon is also extremely personable. I literally feel like I have known him for years just after this one encounter. Finally, as relates to the estimates.... we were interested in under-cabinet lighting and updating the ceiling lighting in the kitchen. He gave us a quote for each project. He even had a sample of the under-cabinet lighting so we could see what it looked like in use. We had a lot of questions about electrical things around the house because we rarely have an encounter with an electrician. He took his time with us and fully answered all of our questions. That, too, is most appreciated. Just an all around excellent experience. I would recommend Johnathon to anyone.

Johnathon is always prompt and polite. He was able to work us in the same day to fix our breaker so we would have heat. Every interaction we have with him is great. Its nice to know we have a go-to-electrician. I highly recommend him.

Johnathon was the epitome of professionalism and value. I will never consider anyone else for any electrical needs that I may have. I entertained quotes from 4 difference electricians for the work in my kitchen. Johnathon wasn't the cheapest, but when it comes to a contractor you really don't want to just go with the lowest bidder, that is a recipe for disaster. But he WAS one of the most professional and certainly the most thorough. For example, he was the ONLY contractor who had samples of under-cabinet lights in his truck so I could actually SEE what it would look like in my kitchen. He promptly followed up with a quote and was a pleasure to work with at every step He was always on-time, set perfect expectations and completed the job as directed. And what I consider to be the most IMPORTANT benefit, I felt 100% comfortable going to work and letting him complete the job with my wife and 4 year old in the house. Johnathon was a class-act and my kitchen looks amazing now.

Johnathon is extremely knowledgeable. He not only explained in detail which under cabinet lights are best, he also had examples to show me. He did a terrific job. The installation was perfect. He even cleaned up after himself. Johnathon is also very nice. I am very happy with my lights. Johnathon Brown Electric is the only electric company I would use and I would definitely recommend Johnathon.

Johnathon came out the week before the work was done to see what I was talking about. My home is turning 20 and everything is going out on me. We went over different options and new lighting technology so I could think about what I wanted to do, a lot changes in 20 years. After we came to a conclusion he was able to give me an estimate right there on the spot. He told me what items I needed to buy and what he would provide, so there were not surprises. We scheduled a time the next week to get the work done. Both appointments Johnathon was on time, he called when he was about 15 minutes away just so I would know when to expect him. He was very knowledgeable and professional. He charged by the project, not by the time. When he came to do the work he went straight to it, and completed all the change outs in under 2 hours. He replaced 11 fixtures and changed out a dimmer switch. We were able to establish clear expectations, and he delivered. I was pleased and all is good! I will use him again and recommend him to others!

Johnathon was great, very professional and punctual. He is extremely knowledgeable and made great recommendations for other electrical projects we need to have done. He did a great job on the installation, and left the site neat and tidy as well. We will be scheduling him for some of our other electrical needs when our girls go back to school.

Ran 450' of wire to buildings through underground conduit. Tied into electrical panel to bring power to these buildings. Work was on time and right on budget. Great Job!!

Quick call back, easy to set consultation appointment, very professional & helpful. Found friend of friend that did the most of work at a cost more suitable to my budget but will surely consider Johnathan Brown for future work.

He did a good job. The staff is good. He is a nice pal. The price was fair. He did everything well.

That service was OK. He did what he needed to but once he arrived he insisted on doing things for him to get more money. He came out sometime in April or May and I spent about $300 once he got through with his extra services. Once he got here he said he could not install the fans until he put some bars in.
