Description of Work: Rewired an Emerson fan which was on a very high ceiling and installed new parts, and got the new fan parts (a signal sender, a remote) working. They had to figure out the new wiring connections--the instructions were not very clear--and took the time to do the job correctly. came on time and gave clear, reasonable estimate.

The estimate Johnathon Brown Electric provided was much less then the other companies we contacted and they were able to quickly fit us into their schedule. I just moved to town and am always leery of finding new electricians, plumbers etc. I saw a Big Deal for Jonathon Brown and thought I'd give it a try. He was great to work with. Completely upfront with pricing and costs of materials. He responded quickly to scheduling an appointment - confirming times and answering my questions before the day came. I could not be happier with the work done and have discussed with him the next phase of needs once I finish getting settled. Without a doubt I would recommend his company and look forward to bringing him back here for more work!
Description of Work: He changed out several ceiling fixtures/fans and hung a new chandelier. Additionally, he changed 14 switches to dimmer switches.

+ -1 moreJohnathan is just delightful! He quickly got to work on the items on my list. He was very thorough and explained what he was doing and why. Because this was an Angie's List Deal (prepaid for 2 hours), he could have stretched out the 3 original items on my list to take the full time. Instead, he methodically worked through each item and then asked me if there was anything else I wanted done. Johnathan was very careful to don protective booties over his work boots each time he entered the house and cleaned up after himself at the end. I am thoroughly pleased with the work Johnathan did and recommend him without reservation.
Description of Work: Johnathan changed a light fixture in the master closet, switched out a thermastat, installed an outdoor light, fixed an outdoor security lighting AND explained how to set up an outdoor water fountain. ALL in less than 2 hours!

The thing that really impressed us was the quality of the work and his professionalism. Everything was just perfect. He took care of everything little thing and made it look great. We were so happy we had him install every other feature we had. He was just wonderful, professional, and very fair. He let me know ahead of time.

+ -1 moreYou get a fully licensed electrician when you work with Johnathon. You don't get an apprentice, you get the real deal. He is very likeable, and explains exactly how he will accomplish what you want done. He does it in the agreed amount of time, as well. He is punctual and will update you on his timeline as the day goes on. He is very neatly attired and comes fully equipped with whatever he might need. He is very organized and was able to quickly produce his license and insurance when I asked for it. It was great experience. I would recommend him to anyone.
Description of Work: In 2 hours, he took off 2 of my exterior motion-sensor lights. He replaced them with new LED lights that are very powerful. He replaced a stationary light with with an LED motion sensor light out back. He also replaced some light switches in the house.

As always called first to confirm we were still set to meet and then arrived at the appointed time. He took it all in gave me some options and did his job without any problems. The guy is just that good. Another job on an 80 year old house—done right the first time.
Description of Work: John is the only electrician I have used for almost 7 yearsand I will use no one else. After going through several electrical companies I stumbled across John and haven’t bothered to look any further. I bought a 80 year old home with an electrical system to match. John has updated my home, charged me a fair price, explains everything to me (in a way I can understand) and works nonstop till the job is done.. He is on time, courteous, friendly and stands behind his work. I have recommended him to several other people who have used him and have nothing but great things to say about him and his work.
