They did exactly what they said they would. He gave a thorough inspection with a detailed report at what I assume to be a reasonable price. He was prompt and did a good job.

I am purchasing a home in Clover and currently live out of state and therefore could not attend the inspection. My son-in-law lives in the area and was able to attend. I made arrangements over the phone with Inspector Paul and he clearly explained his scope of work, and costs and options. He then followed up with an email quote along with options and confirmed our agreed upon date. He clearly explain everything that he found to both my realtor and my son-in-law while performing his inspection. He provided me,via email, a final report, the next day complete with pictures. I had some follow-up questions and called him and he very succinctly provided me with answers. My realtor and I then determined which items we considered worth bringing back to the seller for resolution or dollar consideration. Being some what of a handy man, I didn't consider anything on the list beyond my abilities. The seller reviewed the list and offered us money toward closing cost in leu of fixing the items on the list. The money offered was more than I had paid for the inspection, which I consider a "win".

Paul was professional and provided good advice. His report was well written and provided us the comfort that we wanted.

Inspection went great. Paul arrived early and was very thorough in his work. The resulting inspection report was exactly what we needed to move forward with our purchase.

The experience with Inspector Paul was great. I've never met a more thorough individual and it was immediately clear that he had our best interests in mind. Paul is very clear as to what he can and cannot do during an inspection. Paul can't see through walls. I can't either so I can't hold it against him. What he can do, and what he did, is explore every nook of the house. From the depths of the crawl space to the dark attic, Paul let no area of the house go unchecked. He is very knowledgeable and it is obvious that he knows what he is doing. He moves at a thoughtful pace and never once seemed as if he was rushing. In fact, he didn't complete his inspection until almost 7:00pm on a Friday night but he stayed to answer all of my questions. After the inspection, I had no doubt that I had made the right choice by working with Paul. No inspector can ever find every possible issue, but I can't imagine finding anyone to do a better job than Paul. And he's a really nice guy too.

Paul saved my family from buying a house with a lot of problems. He found numerous issues that were just not visible without experience. His work was fantastic. We have actually used him again since to review other houses we have considered buying,.

He was beyond amazing. Suffice it to say that I have bought and sold many homes but I have never had an inspection report that was this thorough. It was just amazing. He helped find an engineer to look at some specific items. Because of his report and his work he basically saved me something in excess of $420,000 because I wound up not buying this home, which was based on what I learned from him. This home needed much structural work. He was incredibly thorough and incredibly detailed. He was a lovely guy to work with and really, really knows his stuff. I cannot tell you how impressed I was with him. I would recommend him to anyone because he was very responsive and came when he said he was going to come. He was so thorough and I cannot recommend him high enough. He was wonderful. He was a little on the high side but you really get what you pay for.

He was punctual (early even). He was extremely professional. He was thourough and knowledgeable. He would stop the inspection to come and get us and show us visually what concerns were present. Instead of the usual 3 days, he had our inspection report the next day! It's been a pleasure to have him in our corner! If we decide to purchase this home, we will have him come out and reinspect prior to closing.

We hired Inspector Paul to do an inspection of the home we were planning on purchasing. He responded quickly, showed up when he said he would, and was extremely thorough. We were pleased with the quality and "understandability" of his report. Because we didn't actually own the property, only non-destructive tests could be performed (in other words, he could use his imaging technology to "look" behind the walls for moisture, but could not actually physically inspect behind the walls for moisture.) We now own the house, and our builder has been able to dig a little deeper into the walls and under the roofing, etc. The builder was impressed with the inspection report, and has affirmed that Inspector Paul's findings were accurate. We believe that Inspector Paul's pricing is higher than the average home inspection. But we also believe it was worth the cost, and would absolutely hire him again and recommend him to friends.

Paul found numerous building code violations and other serious problems with the home. We are now involved in litigation with the builder to get these problems fixed.

I rate Inspector Paul as excellent. Paul's indepth knowledge of building codes, recalls and building trends is outstanding. Ultimately you want someone with Paul's background and knowledge to inspect your home and insure you are making a wise investment in a property. I am very pleased with my experience.

Paul performed all services requested professionally and timely. I believe the cost that he charged was in line with what other inspectors charge. Radon testing and thermal image scanning are extra services that we requested. I am very comfortable that we got what we paid for. We have been in our home for over a year and feel that Paul performed a thorough review of our home and provided us with a very detailed report that helped us to negotiate with the sellers of the house to get a new roof installed (at their expense). We have not had any unexpected problems with the house. I have already recommended Inspector Paul to another individual that I know who bought a home.

I called Paul and scheduled a home inspection a couple days later. I then had to re-schedule. Paul even adjusted his schedule, voluntarily asking one of his other clients if they could have their inspection done in the morning to free up the afternoon for my inspection b/c I didn't have morning availability. Thanks Paul! Paul was on site and unpacking his tools as my wife arrived to attend the inspection. 2 days after the inspection, Paul e-mailed the username and password to my inspection report, viewable from any computer - very convenient. Lots of photos, the arrows makeing it easy for a novice to see the issues.We had a couple questions, and he was available via phone or e-mail to answer and clarify items. Paul follows the rules to the letter of the law. He is very thorough, and will note EVERYTHING that is not to current code - and I mean everything. It is a level of detail that is amazing (or infuriating, if the home isn't up to code or was previously inspected by someone less thorough). He did exactly what I hired him to do, inspect the home and note everything potentially not up to code or standard practices. Thanks to Paul, I felt 100% confident I knew exactly what I was purchasing. This peace of mind is invaluable when spending hundreds of thousands of dollars. I would hire him again. He gets a B for price only b/c he does charge more than average. Do you want an 'average' inspection? You get what you pay for with Paul.

Paul stepped into a very contentious situation in which the buyer (me) and the seller of a home under contract disagreed about the validity of the results of an initial radon test (performed by another inspector). His patience and professionalism were irreproachable. He went well beyond the level of service that a merely competent inspector would provide. I am a real estate broker and have recommended Paul with confidence to buyer clients in the past; I look forward to continuing to do so in the future, wholeheartedly and with a greater appreciation for his attention to his craft.
