Called multiple contractors for quotes. All were quoting me over $300 for repairs and would take 1 to 2 weeks to complete. Howe Roofs assessed my damage while I was at work and quickly realized that the shingles were not damaged and that they could be reattached . To my surprise when I got home the shingles were back in place right before another round of wind and rain . Received an email the next day stating there was NO CHARGE for the work. I commend them for not taking advantage of me like the other companies were trying to do. I would definitely recommend them in the future

After the initial estimate on a Saturday, was told roofers would come Monday after lunch. They never showed up. Called roofer, he apologized, promised to be out at 9 am next morning. The next morning 11 am rolls around; no roofer. Called roofer, was told crew had car trouble but would be at my home soon. They never showed up. Received call the following morning. The roofer said "Did you still want us to do that job?" I replied that I did. He said he might be by in the next hour. An hour passed, I called and cancelled the job. Three consecutive days of staying home waiting on them was enough.

We first saw a Howe Roofs team tearing off and replacing a neighbor's roof. We were impressed with the speed that they displayed completing the job. We checked Angie's List and found one very positive, and no negative reviews. I asked a gentleman, Brian Ketch, company supervisor, if they could inspect my roof since I found a missing missing roof shingle. Arturo, an expert roofer, came by that same day and replaced two missing roof shingles as it was forecasting rain overnight. Arturo advised that there were other shingles damaged by hale. We checked and confirmed Howe Roofs was licensed, bonded and insured. Brian checked his sources and advised that there had been severe hail reported in my area in the last month or so. He suggested a homeowner's claim for hale damage would be advisable. We filed a claim, an adjuster came out and, oops, he was prohibited from climbing up to fully inspect the steep pitch of our roof! Adjuster said a new roof was in order and produced an estimate based on a satellite photo of our home, plus Brian's complete measurements. Insurance draft was three party check which had to be signed off by our lienholder, a hassle. Two and one half weeks later, I called Brian with a huge insurance estimate in hand. He was comforting in explaining in great detail what he and his team would do. We were impressed as he made a quick appointment, the team arrived early, and they tarped all the shrubs and grass near the house. The workers were swift to remove and prepare the roof, also finding two sheets of damaged plywood which were shown me and replaced. About half way through the first day, Arturo asked if the large shed's roof was included. Not even thinking about that building, I asked him if he could quickly inspect that roof, and he advised it was hail damaged also. Called Brian and the adjuster, explained the newly found damage, and Brian worked out a new estimate with the adjuster. No hassle, no fuss. New roof for home and shed done in one and one half days. Workers were very professional, pleasant and worked non-stop. They completed the job by removing all of the old roofing materials, tarps, and ran a rolling magnet on the grass and walkways to clear out all nails, etc. There were no problems with the job performed by Howe Roofs and communication with the company was excellent. I asked Brian for a release of liens and bills paid affidavit, workmanship warranty along with materials warranty, which were quickly provided us. Wow, this Howe Roof's company is fast! Definitely recommend them to my neighbors, friends and relatives.

Excellent service and repair, the builder who had installed my original roof left out many important roofing features: flashing and proper roofing procedures. Howe went over and beyond to make sure that the job was done correctly. I am thrilled to have a good roof to protect my family. I strongly recommend Howe!

Before hearing from Angie's List about the excellent quality of Howe Roof, I had been given a referral from a coworker. I called many times early in October to get someone to come speak to me about replacing our roof. Noone called me back. Finally, while we were on vacation, someone came without calling us first. Very unprofessional. I called when we returned in order to make an appointment to speak with them. That was last month. I haven't heard from anyone since. All I can imagine is that they are too busy to work on our roof . Very disappointing.

He was punctual and honest. He followed up well via calls and messages. He kept me informed when he was going to be late. I liked his services and will use the same in future.

I had several roofers come in. I thought we needed a metal roof because it is a flat roof. They did not do that but they did a very nice job. They had very customer service. We were not there while the work was done. The worker drove over the septic tank with his small truck. A few days after that we discovered moisture all through the tank. He was very nice. He was shocked his truck caused damage. When we had the tank fixed it ended up not being there fault. But he still felt so bad he gave me a few hundred dollars off. They were in no way responsible but would have taken full responsibility had it been. They were great. I would definitely use them again. They had the best idea of what to do without spending a fortune. I appreciated their help.

Howe Roof was called when we discovered small wet spot on ceiling in an area where no plumbing runs. We noticed with the use of binoculars that some shingles were displaced or missing on the roof. Howe immediately sent out some one to inspect the roof and 2 days later the repairs were completed along with entire roof inspection. Repair person was very nice and thorough.

They were here quickly and efficiently. There was a very small problem, but they came back immediately to fix it. The price was also very reasonable.

Except for the weather, the project worked just the way it was described and proposed. Daily thunderstorms turned the job into something more difficult than planned, but the crew worked around the weather very well, keeping the roof dry during the entire project. Paul Simpson did a very thorough, professional job on the estimate. He was careful to tell us things to consider when planning this type of job. Although this was not the lowest bid, it was very reasonable, and we are very satisfied that our choice was the right one.

We had a leak on our screen porch caused by some improperly installed skylights by another individual. Paul and Brian immediately came to our rescue - offered suggestions to prevent any further damage to our porch. They provided us with samples and thoroughly explained the re-roofing process. The job thoroughly exceeded our expectations and their price was extremely fair. We would highly recommend them.

I CALLED THE MORNING OF 3/8/04 AT 9:00 AM, AND EXPLAINED THAT SHINGLES HAD BEEN BLOWN OFF OF THE ROOF AND THAT RAIN/SNOW WAS FORECASTED FOR 3/8/04. BRIAN KETCH RESPONDED AROUND NOON 3/8/04, HE CALLED ME AT MY OFFICE AND ON MY CELL AND SAID ESTIMATE FOR EMERGENCY REPAIR WAS $350 TO REPLACE SHINGLES ON SEVERAL LARGE AREAS OF MY ROOF AND THAT HE WOULD GET CREWS THERE THAT AFTERNOON SINCE HE KNEW THAT IF HE DID NOT WE'D EXPERIENCE WATER DAMAGE DUE TO EXPECTED RAIN/SNOW THE NEXT DAY. THE CREW DID A GOOD JOB, PICKED UP SHINGLES THAT HAD BLOWN OFF ROOF, AND INDICATED THAT HE'D COME BACK AT A LATER DATE TO PROVIDE ME WITH A REQUESTED ESTIMATE TO REPLACE THE ROOF OF MY HOME. I WAS PLEASED WITH THEIR RESPONSIVENESS, AND THAT THEY CHARGED A REASONABLE FEE FOR THE EMERGENCY REPAIR, WHEN THEY COULD HAVE PRICE-GOUGED IF THEY CHOSE TOO.
