Mitch from Garage Door Guru was very responsive. He came out the same day to provide an estimate on our old garage door which had cracked in multiple locations and was bowing. within 2 days, we had the old door quickly and efficiently replaced with our new door. The service was great and we paid a fair price. I would hire them again.

Back in January 2019 we had our old garage doors removed and two new custom doors ordered and installed. Garage Guru's have a wonderful program that will insert images of the doors you are thinking of into an image of your existing garage. Very, very helpful in making a good selection. Thank you Melinda for the help and Fred for the installation (on a cold and wet January day). There site in Fort Mill, SC has many examples that you can look at to get a better feel for construction, value and look. Everyone was helpful and eager to please. It's no wonder why they have won so many Angie's List Awards over the years. In May of this year I called to see if someone could come to look at one door guide rail that seemed to bow a bit when the door was opened. Mitch came down the next day and lubricated everything and agreed that a minor adjustment to the rail location was a good idea. It was done in 3 minutes and all for no charge. My wife and I are very pleased.

Our garage door recently broke down and we called all around Charlotte trying to get someone to look at it. Robert from Garage Door Doctors came out the same day with the best quoted price. Highly recommend!

This happened on a Saturday, so was concerned about getting the garage door fixed on a weekend, I called around 11:45 am, and a person was here within 30 minutes. Both garage door springs were replaced in less than an hour of when I called. Excellent service! Good job by Mitch.

It went very smoothly. Called at 11:30 am on a Saturday and they showed up at 2:30 pm the same day. Door was broken and would not open. Richard was prompt and professional and quickly fixed the problem and did some minor tweaking to make the door work smoother.

I had a new high-lift garage door installed at our home about a year ago. I noticed recently that the door was working a little harder than usual and decided to be proactive and call GG to come out and take a look. Maybe some adjustments were needed. I was able to get an appointment the next day. Service rep showed up on time and recommended some minor track adjustments and also replacing one cable which had started to fray. In the end, he replaced both cables and adjusted the door to open and shut like it should. All repairs & time covered under warranty. I wasn't expecting this and was ready to pay for the timely service. Very pleased with GG and will continue to be their customer in the future. Thank you Garage Guru!

GREAT service! Leo was punctual, friendly, and professional. Will hire them again if needed.

It went okay. However, I asked question about whether the apparently sluggish spring should be replaced, and the guy said it's not needed. I eventually had to do it myself some days later. I also noticed deficiencies later on such as: the track is not perpendicular to the wall, and the sensor doesn't work well when sun shines brightly in the afternoon. Overall I found the worker is concerned about one-time in-and-out.

The Garage Guru did a great job. They were on time for appointments and worked around my schedule. There was some sight damage to one of the panels when completed. I contacted PJ their manager, he responded with in two hours, said they would handle the issue. They ordered a new panel and installed it a week later. Door looks great! Great customer service, honest hard working individuals.

Called last night and the owner, Paul Cardone, personally answered and got me scheduled for the next day. Mitch, the tech, showed up on time and was very efficient in getting the springs replaced. Mitch also checked everything else out to make sure the door and all the components were working properly. Very personable and didn't try to sale me on upgrades or anything else. These guys have always been quality people and do quality work. I will recommend.

They are GURU and doing excellent job by spending one day whole day until 10:00 PM. Really professional and excellent.

Employee came out for free estimate. Informed him that I had found pieces of rubber or plastic broken off on the top of the unit. Employee climbed ladder looked at unit and informed me that it was the sprocket. He first told me that these were throw away units and that a new one costs about 133 dollars. I asked about the sprocket. Employee informed me that the employees do not carry them even though this is the most common part to break. He then informed me that you can not find the part anywhere and if you did, it would take weeks for it to arrive. I then asked about replacing the unit ($133). I was then told that they do not carry the overhead door or genie unit and only carry a loft master unit with a 50 year warranty. I was told the price was 785 dollars to install the new unit. I was then told that if I wanted it done that night he could do it for 745 dollars and it would only take him about an hour or so. I told the employee that I thought the price was excessive. The employee left and I went online and found the part in roughly 30 seconds from the manufacturers web site. The part was 9 dollars and was shipped to my house in 2 days for an additional 6 dollars. I watched a you tube video and had the sprocket changed out in 45 minutes. I truly find it hard to believe that the employees do not carry the part and truly felt as though he was attempting to take advantage of me by telling me that the part was not available and even if the part could be found it would be weeks before he could get it. I will not be calling this company again and will let everyone I know that I would not call this company for services. It’s a shame as I resides in SC and wanted to make sure that I used a local company rather than calling another company from a different town.

The Garage Door Guru crew was extremely helpful educating and helping us select out doors. The installation went great. After installation, we discovered a manufacturing defect in both doors installed. Paul had our backs and went to bat for us. These guys went above and beyond until the issue was resolved. We can’t recommend them highly enough.
