WE DEALT WITH SHAWN LANIER AS OUR SALES PERSON-DESIGNER. HE OFFERED US GREAT OPTIONS TO MAKE THE POOL LOOK AS ATTRACTIVE AS POSSIBLE.....A FEW TRICKS OF THE TRADE THAT MADE A BIG DIFFERENCE. WE HAD A SLOW GO OF IT GETTING THE POOL COMPLETE DUE TO HEAVY RAINS AT EVERY MAJOR PART OF THE CONSTRUCTION. THROUGH THE CHALLENGING WEATHER EDGEWATER GOT THE POOL COMPLETE. IT IS A BEAUTIFUL FINISHED PRODUCT AND WE ARE VERY HAPPY WITH EDGEWATER POOLS.

They worked with my builder to build the pool while home was being built. They did a design meeting on sight. I picked my color selections soon after. Easy to meet with and work with. I met the site supervisor and they built the pool on the time schedule given even with all the rain we have gotten this season. After completion I received an on site orientation of equipment and care of my pool and we have been enjoying it ever since.

We had an excellent experience with Edgewater Pools. Donnie and his crew were extremely knowledgeable throughout the design and selection process, working with us as we modified the design several times to adjust for location and cost. They were creative and honest in helping us design a layout and surrounding patio that blended with our existing house features. During construction the crew was polite and diligent in all their efforts. We were sent weekly written updates on progress, which was extremely helpful for the weeks when we were out of town - many times Donnie would go out to the house and send pictures so we could see the progress. The overall experience was great and most importantly we now have a beautiful pool with a surrounding patio and outside kitchen that we have been enjoying with family and friends for several months. I would HIGHLY recommend Edgewater Pools. They are responsive, perform excellent, high quality work, and customer service is definitely a priority for them.

After an initial hiccup with a salesman who left the company before providing our quote, we were contacted by Donnie, who met us to survey the yard. He was very knowledgeable, professional, honest and gave us our quotes within 15 hours. Very fast response! We were impressed with his honesty regarding certain unnecessary features. We were quoted an 18x36 lagoon shaped vinyl liner pool with salt system, electric heater, deck jets, liner covered steps and tanning ledge, 600 sq ft of concrete for $46,000. The same pool in gunite was $53,000. While his presentation was beautiful, we were not prepared to pay that much for a liner pool.

Overall, the pool came out ok. However, we had drainage issues before the installation started that I warned the representative about. We had drainage issues after the installation, which they attempted to address. Results were not good, since the concrete decking had already been poured incorrectly. Update: The president of Edgewater Pools contacted me regarding my negative review, came out to see what the problems had been. Since I had already worked on the drainage problem, he agreed to give us a deep discount on a waterfall that we wanted. Update. 2/1/16. We have had horrible followup from Edgewater. They did install the waterfall, which we paid half of. After one of their employees basically ruined the waterfall, it was completely replaced, and now the replacement is faded, even after they have tried twice to repair the finish. The last repair was never completed. Now we have a leak in piping under the concrete decking, which they said would not be covered under warranty, Because of the original poor decking installation I also have water problems under my house. Poor installation, poor followup and poor warranty.

We have recently completed the construction. Throughout the process we were very impressed. Everyone involved has been top notch - professional, courteous, and great quality. They tied into our existing patio perfectly and the finish workmanship looks superior! So far this has been a great experience and we cannot wait for warmer weather. We've already been in the spa and could not be any happier with the size and quality.

Shawn Lanier is the person I dealt with. The price was less than $25000 for the pool, fence and the concrete decking. The price was really reasonable. I looked at a couple of different places and Independent Pool & Fence was referred to me by a friend. They do great work at a great price, but their communication is a little lacking. They cleaned up everything. They were very professional. The job they did was really good. They did everything in a timely manner. Everything was really good except for their follow up. They offered me a leaf net, but I didn’t pay for it. I followed up with them and they kept saying that they would bring it, but I never got the leaf net. They were really good. They were really flexible. They were able to come out early and work around my work schedule. So, that was a positive point. In terms of their responsiveness, they were lacking. They were very punctual. I would use their services in the future too.

David Wilbanks was the representative we worked with. His crew came on site and performed the installation quickly and neatly. They cleaned up before they left and David was polite and professional. The fence was installed straight and and all the posts were level. I checked to be sure. Anyway, the fence has been in about 2 years now and still looks great, except a 1"x 2" spot of paint has chipped on the main gate. The main gate gets opened and closed several times a day so we're not disappointed given the amount of use this gate receives. My only concern is with the swinging gates. They are spring loaded and if allowed to close under their own power, deliver quite a shock to the latch. We usually catch the gate just before it latches to keep it from slamming.
