Description of Work: They removed our old bathroom countertop and installed a new granite countertop and backsplash. They were very helpful in granite selection. They were prompt clear and courteous during measuring, installation and they set up the plumber to come the next day to install the new faucet. He was great too. The pricing was fair and everything was explained clearly. There were no surprises or misunderstandings as we have had with some other jobs in the past where the price sounds good initially, but somehow mysteriously goes up at the end of the project with no clear explanation. Everyone we dealt with at this company seemed very trustworthy and we will definately recommend them to others and use them again if we have the need.

 + -1 moreAfter the granite was installed he was supposed to come back and install the tile back splash, and get us a piece of granite to install on our fireplace surround. We had made a specific appointment to have the tile installed, with the understanding that if it rained on that particular day, he would not be able to do it because he had to cut the tile outside. It did rain that day, and we expected him to call with another date. We waited two weeks, in which he neither called or returned our calls. Finally, I went to his shop and saw him there. I asked if he was OK, or had been ill. He responded that he was OK. I asked him why he never returned to install my tile. He looked surprised, and said he had completely forgotten about it. At that time, it was a Thursday, I asked when he could come and do the work. He made some phone calls, and then said he would be there for sure on the following Monday morning. He never showed up, and we never heard from him again. Finally, after waiting a week, I installed the tile myself, and it turned out great.
Description of Work: I contracted Distinctive Granite to supply and install new counter tops. He was also to install tile back splash. He was not easy to get in touch with after we contracted to do the work. Eventually he installed the granite, and did a very good job. It was neat and professional, and I thought his price was fair.

Description of Work: Dave replaced all our counter tops in our Kitchen. on time for the estimate, answered all our questions, very neat. THE Granite suppliers he sent us to choose from was excellent. They assisted us through the entire process of choosing. Showed up on the day of installation on time, completed the job in a timely and professional manor, We are very happy with the results, So happy, we're having more work done by him. my daughter will also use Distinctive for her Kitchen.
