 + -1 moreI knew that I wanted Hunter Douglas shades for our new home, so I went to the Hunter-Douglas Gallery at Diana's Blinds and Design. Gallery dealers offer a total shopping experience, with premium displays of Hunter Douglas' full line of products. Heather walked me around the gallery and explained all of the different types of shades and the lifting systems. Diana came to the house with a great selection of shades and colors. She measured and remeasured each window. I asked Diana for her guidance as far as suggesting colors, types of shades, and lifting systems that would work in our home. She was so helpful. Bruce did an excellent and careful job installing our shades. He also took the time to show us how each lifting system worked. Diana was onsite during the installation and followed up later in the week to ensure we were happy. Overall we were extremely pleased with the professionalism, promptness, quality and attention to detail by this company. We will certainly use them again and would recommend them to our friends and neighbors.
Description of Work: Installed and helped me select shades for seven rooms in our new home.

Description of Work: I knew that I wanted cellular shades for the new house, so I went to the Hunter-Douglas showroom at Diana's store. Heather walked me around and explained all of the different types of shades. I chose the Duette Powerrise top-down/bottom-up for windows that cannot be reached and the bedrooms (you can lie in bed and push a button to open/close shades). I chose the Duette Literise top-down/bottom-up for lower windows and plain Duette Literise for the attic windows. And there was a multitude of colors from which to choose. We scheduled a date for Diana to come to the house, measure and re-measure to be sure that they would be made correctly for each window size. When the shades were delivered to Diana's, a date was scheduled to install them. The 2 installers did an excellent and careful job. Then took the time to link and explain how the powerrise shades worked. They also gave me the equipment to hook up to my wi-fi so that I could download the Hunter-Douglas app for my iPhone. Now I can sit in a chair and open/close any of the powerrise shades, even the ones in the garage! The literise shades will open/close with just one finger.  + -1 moreDiana was great. I used her because she was a rep of Hunter Douglas and carried the motorized blinds. Her location was out of my way but worth the trip. Her daughter helped me there and then Diana in my home. When the blinds arrived, she even came with the installer to make sure it was done right.
Description of Work: We hired Diana to come out and measure for a window over our tub that is hard to reach, and needed a motorized shade.

 + -1 moreI have difficult windows (location, size, sun), and Diana showed her experience and knowledge by helping me make the best decisions for my budget. Hunter Douglas blinds are expensive, but the quality is worth it for the special windows I have. She also has a showroom so I was able to see a big variety of blinds first hand, instead of small samples or pictures. The people that work for her are very professional too.
Description of Work: Measured all the windows in my home. Suggested types of window coverings & color for my unique situation. There were many decisions to make and Diana made a few trips out to get everything right.

After installation, I was unhappy with the color on 3 windows and they changed them out for me for a minimal fee. Excellent service, professional installation and prompt communication.

 + -1 moreDiana came out and measured all the windows and quoted a price based on the product that I chose. She had color charts with her and at my request, recommended a color that would go well. The blinds arrived and she and her installer came out and installed them. Some of the blinds weren't quite right and instead of messing around with them, she promptly told me that she would have them remade. They came and installed them again and I am very happy with the end result. Diana displayed professionalism and superb customer service. All products will have issues from time to time but it is customer service like Diana's that really differentiate the great companies from the rest. I would definitely use her again.
