He didn't show. He also didn't respond and still hasn't to the several emails, phone calls and texts that I sent.

It's hard to write this, because Jay seemed like a really nice guy, but this is my honest review. He came out and gave me some good ideas for my landscaping. I gave him an itemized excel spreadsheet of things I wanted done and asked that he give me an itemized estimate of the work. Some time went by and nothing happened. I emailed him and asked if he could provide a bid by Friday. He emailed me back and said 'shouldn't be a problem'. No bid came through the weekend. I contacted him and he said things came up and apologized and said "I will email you a bid by lunchtime, a few hours". Another week went by and nothing came. I emailed him again and there was no response. I don't understand how someone can treat people like this and not only stay in business, but have an 'A' rating on Angies list. It just blows my mind.

Cleanup of the backyard included getting rid of a huge bed of English ivy that had taken over one corner of our yard, cutting back several large trees, getting rid of several small trees, removing a lot of overgrowth along one fence line, and re-grading a portion of the backyard slope. They even removed some cement blocks that had been dumped in the corner of the yard by a previous contractor and subsequently covered by the fast-growing ivy. In the course of one day Jay and his crew created the blank slate I was looking for! Now it's on to Phase II: making it pretty and usable!

Great job, fair price and great service. I'd highly recommend Jay and Club Landscape for any landscape project.

Jay was professional upon his visit and I received a good referral about his work from my neighbor up the street. For whatever reason he came, measured everything up in early March and now it's 3 weeks later (April) and he's failed to even supply an estimate for which I have contacted him on 2 separate occasions (once by phone, once via Angie's List email contact). I understand it is a busy season for people who provide outdoor services and if you run a small business your time/schedule has you being pulled in many directions but common courtesy could say sorry, your job is not for me or I'm extremely busy, booked for the next several months, you may want to look elsewhere; as every other party that has come to my house has done or has returned an estimate inside of 3 days. To minimize the impact I'll give it a "D" on responsiveness, purely for benefit of the doubt and a "C" on professionalism as his demeanor/knowledge seemed quite respectable (A) but the lack of follow-up brought the grade down. I'm sure the work is good but I would look elsewhere for service.

Amazing sums it up! Friendly crew, on time and quality work! Most impressed about Jay's attention to detail and making it just right. You can tell he is experienced and enjoys what he is doing. He is hands on during the project and offers helpful feedback when deciding how the project will look and what materials to use. Complete professional! Highly recommend!

It went fairly well. The initial install date was pushed back about 2 weeks. The main portion was completed in a week. When I decided to add on another small section, I did have to wait over a month and I didn't get timely feedback of when he was coming back to do the last small section. I had to email and call several times to get a response. I am happy with the finished product.

Jay did an excellent job from start to finish. He was professional, listened to what we wanted and what we didn't want and made great suggestions when we needed them. He had one person that would come with him to help, but pretty much did all the work himself. He was there when he said he would be and would let me know if he wasn't able to be there. The work was done in a timely manner (depending on weather of course) and turned out even better than we expected. He was a hard worker and it was pleasant working with him. We get several positive comments from strangers walking by and on many occasions have had people walking back to our yard to take a look.

Jay and his team are the best. Easy to work with, listened to what we were looking for and offered his suggestions. On time, went the extra mile to make sure everything was correct. I would use them again! You will not go wrong using Club Landscape!
