Brian & Bob were on time professional and were neat. Work was done well & timely.

This was an $85 big deal purchase. It went okay, but the guy was kind of rude. It was him and a couple of other people and they made it clear they did not want to be here. They weren't very professional. I am not saying they were rude, they just weren't as professional as they could be. They did what they were supposed to do but they seemed like they were not happy to do it.

Brian and his crew did a great job installing new light fixtures in our home. Responsive to our request for an estimate, fair pricing, showed up on time, and did a great job. Highly recommend.

He was very professional and helpful. He did exactly what we discussed. I highly recommend him and will continue using his services for any further electrical needs.

I was unhappy with the job and had to hire another contractor to correct the work that was done which I ended up paying for out of pocket. The issues that I had were as follows: 1.) The 4 boxes for the 4 sconce lights that were to go on each side of 2 mirrors were installed at different heights and different distances from the mirrors. The different distance can be partially blamed on the GC as he failed to order the lights on time and they had to work with measurements I found on the internet. Though their is no excuse for the different heights. 2) There appeared to be some issue with their saw in installing the outlet in a new custom cabinet as a large area was torn up and had to be repaired by the cabinet maker. 3) They did not clean up after their work and left all of their drills and saws on top of my bed which had on a brand new bedspread I had for 2 days. So I ended up again paying to have the boxes moved and then had to hire a drywall contractor and painter to repair the walls.

We had contacted Artisan about 3 years ago for a quote to wire our renovated dock. We contacted them on a recommemdation from our great dock builder Randy Clawson. Brian came out promptly and gave us a quote. Then we checked with another electrician who quoted a lower price. We went with the lower price, because we had used this particular vendor before. What a mistake, the electrician sent a subcontractor who didn't know what he was doing and really did crappy job. As our drought progressed this year we were forced to make a decision to have the wiring redone. So I bit the bullet and called our dock builder, Randy Clawson for a recommendation. He was still recommending Artisan. I thought , oh no, they ( Artisan) is really going to gloat with my calling back, but I called them. Brian could not have been nicer. He and Mike came by, looked at the job, quickly sent a new quote, which was the same quote from three years earlier with a little extra for removal of the substandard wiring. Brian and team came, performed their job cleaned up and were done in a day. The job was neat, done as we requested, and most importantly it was done right. A lesson learned, it really takes someone who knows what they are doing to wire a dock. I also appreciate the way Brian and his team were so nice, they never made me feel badly about my mistake and did not take advantage of our compromised position.

Brian has excellent customer service and is very prompt. The work he did took about an hour and a half. Overall, I was extremely happy with his work and work ethic. I would definitely recommend him to anyone.

My wife had purchased a online advertised outdoor lighting package from a Charlotte company(a non-Angie's List company). She eventually expanded what the package offered, purchased additional lights, etc. . After payment to this company they installed the outdoor lighting. Within a few days we had issues with the lights working properly in one section. That issue was eventually fixed yet another problem arouse when I discovered, luckily, a small wood chip fire a few weeks after the installation. The fire could have been worse if it hadn't rained the night before and dampened the wood chips. We shut the whole system down to be safe. My wife made numerous phone calls and e-mails to get the company to respond. The owner, when she reached him, was arrogant. This company wouldn't even come out to see the problem and cause. We were told by the owner of this company that the lights were a bad batch, to replace them would be at his personal cost and he would do it when their work crew was back in town. Three deadline dates were given by the owner, those days came and went. Needless to say this went on for over 6 weeks. I eventually went to my Angie's List to get the system checked and repaired at my cost. I contacted Artisan Electric Service's owner Brian Menendez. Brian was very responsive and came out to the house within a couple of days to look at the system and issues. After seeing what was needed to repair the system a price and date was settled on for Artisan Electric to do the work. The worked was completed on time. The crew that was sent took the time to explain what they were going to do to fix the problem. The crew was very professional and got the job done in a timely manner. Brian also was very prompt and responsive before and after the work was completed, I would highly recommend Artisan Electric for any electrical work needed by a member. In the future we'll only purchase Angie's List deals!

Personable, competent, professional. The job required several trips but we were only charged for one and were also not charged for a part that did not work. I would highly recommend them.

Service was completed quickly and to my satisfaction. They arrived on time and were prepared to get the job done.

I called Brian Williams Menendez last week and he was right out to look at the situation. He told me exactly what needed to be done and what it would cost. He was out today, 6/8/15 to perform the work and he and his helper completed the work quickly, and I must say everything is very neat and tidy. He replaced the outdoor plastic box that contained the two A/C breakers, installed new 60 amp wiring, and a new 60 amp breaker to replace the 40 amp on the main panel. I already had him look at a couple of other things and I will most certainly use him again. If you need a good, reliable electrician you should give Brian a call. ~Regards.

He always calls in advance to let me know he is on his way. His work is top notch, or I would be a repeat customer, and his price is always fair.

Mr. Menendez was prompt and courteous. He performed the necessary repairs efficiently and neatly. In the past, he has done other work for us including installing floor electrical outlet, new outlets in bedrooms, removing sconces from walls and installing new recessed lighting and ceiling fan. We have always been very happy with the work that he has done for us.

Everything went great. They were on time, courteous and professional. They listened to the issues we were having and did an inspection. Not only were the existing issues corrected quickly but we were told about some wiring issues we did not know about. Wiring that was done incorrectly on our screened in porch that was potentially dangerous. We will definitely use Artisan Electric to correct these issues and fir any other electrical needs we may have.

They arrived right on time and did everything we needed. We paid an extra $20 for a part which we anticipated. We would recommend them to others, and we would use them again in the future.

I couldn't be more pleased with my whole experience using this electrical company. I was really on a time crunch with needing to find a contractor to do this installation to meet the upcoming installation date for my tv (which was the day following the electrical work). I called a handful of electricians and some indicated that they would have to cut drywall that would require my needing patch work afterwards! I was not interested in generating more work and expense to simply have a tv installed over my fireplace. I spoke with Brian and he accommodated my short deadline by coming to take a look at the job. He was punctual and very professional. I could tell right from the start that he was the guy for the job. His approach was to come up through the crawlspace in the house the run the wiring that way. No need to mess with drywall cuts, other than to install the outlet. Two days later, he came to do the install with his guys. Again, all very professional and knew what they were doing. They were great in consulting with me throughout the install. They were very efficient and completed the work in record time. Afterwards, they completely cleaned any debri and were on their way. I'm thrilled that I now have a dependable and knowledgeable electrician that I will be calling on again in the immediate future. I have chandeliers and ceiling fans that will be installed next.

Brian showed up on time with a crew of 3 and promptly got started. One worked on attic wiring, one replacd switches and the other two worked on the outside lights. They went right to work and performed efficiently. When Brian discovered that there could be a safety issue with the outside lights, he went to a home improvement store to get the parts he needed and didn't charge me for them. Performed all services in about an hour, packed up and left. Thought the price was very reasonable for the services performed.

I could not be happier. The work is fantastic!! It looks great. They were very professional and easy to work with. I had to change in my schedule and they worked with me on that with no issues or questions. I would recommend Artisan electric to anyone in the greater Charlotte area.

Bryan called to say they were going to stop off on the way to pick up materials, so while we started later than the originally arranged 8am time, the fact that he called to explain a delay was a huge plus (this is a pet peeve of mine). He had already identified the issue on the phone when we spoke earlier, and was ready to go when his team got there. They were done quickly, and were friendly, polite and tidy. Artisan Electric is now pinned as my go-to the next time we have an issue.

Brian and team were incredibly professional, cleaned while they worked, and fulfilled on the statement of work perfectly. Will be looking to them for additional work, such as wiring the house for generator, etc.

I was contacted by Artisan Electric about 2 days after I emailed to schedule an appointment for them to put a 1 foot extension pole on my Master Bedroom ceiling fan. They had told me that they do not service my area although the ad had indicated other wise. It was frustrating. They had told me that they had tried telling Angie's list several times to remove Mecklenburg county which you guys have not done yet. You should...thanks.

Perfect! Brian responded to our telephone call and came the next day and gave us an estimate, that did not vary after the work was completed. Brian and his co workers arrived on time, were very professional and very courteous. We are very happy with the work and will call Artisan for all our future electrical projects.

Called Artisan Electric and described the nature of the problem. Referred us to Palmetto Electric in Rock Hill. We were impressed with the referral and the fact that they answered the phone when we called.
