They dug up the septic access and checked it out. The technician noticed that the line from the house to the tank appeared to be clogged. He went into the crawl space, found a clean out and cleaned the line out with water pressure. Great job and great attitude of the technician.

Gavin was awesome! We arrived back home at 10:30 one night to find the tub had leaked onto the bath math. Not wanting to call a plumber at that hour, we shut the hot water tank supply off since the crack was below the shut off valve in the tub. The next morning I searched Angie's List, as our long time plumber had recently retired. I was very pleased to see the reviews for Gavin and his firm, and gave him a call. He came out the same day to take a look, and was able to cap off the pipe to stop the leaking so that we were able to have hot water in our house again. We scheduled a time for the following week for him to come back and fix the pipe as above. Gavin was prompt, personable, and explained what he was doing. I was very happy with his price, and also that he gives a 10% discount to Angie's List members. I will definitely use Gavin in the future as I trust him implicitly!

The guys had installed a new hot water heater for me before, so when I had a leakage beneath my kitchen sink, I called them immediately. They responded promptly to check for the problem. They removed both basket strainers and old pipes which were leaking. They installed two new metal basket strainers and new pipes. Then, they tested to check for leakage, but everything was working fine, and I haven't had anymore problems. I was pleased with their work and would definitely use them again, if necessary.

Palmetto State Plumbing came on time December 4th and installed a new faucet set on our tub/shower It took them about an hour and included installing a new valve. I had also had them put in a new drain in. The cost was $270. I was renovating my bathroom so did not use the tub right away. On December 11th I noticed the new screen cover on the drain was not setting right so I called Palmetto. The came out the next morning to take a look at it. It turned out that the threading on the new drain did not match to the pipe fitting. It cost another $75 to replace the pipes and fix the issue. It was one of those "it has to be done to do it right" so that did not bother me. The only thing that bothered me is that they should have been pointed out on the original install.

Our old garbage disposal suddenly stopped working a couple of months ago, which wasn't surprising, given it's age. After ordering a new one, I contacted Gavin on a Monday afternoon and made an appointment for him to install it on Wednesday morning. He and another worker removed the old disposal, hard wired the power and installed the new disposal, and tested the new disposal only to discover that it had no power. After checking the wiring, a faulty light switch was the diagnosis. Gavin replaced the switch with a new one that I happened to have on hand. He then tested the disposal to confirm that it was working properly. I can't say enough about his professionalism from start to finish on this job. He was on time, went to work immediately, and didn't miss a beat while troubleshooting the power issue. Palmetto State Plumbing will be my first and only call for any future plumbing needs!

I was very pleased with Palmetto State Plumbing. I called to inquire about having a hot water heater installed, and they came the very next day to give an estimate without a service charge. After observing what needed to be done, they gave me a price, and I immediately asked when could they do the job and they said right then, which they did. They did an excellent job, and I would definitely hire them again.

My wife and I purposely asked Gavin to install a sump pump we bought, as he has done service for us in the past and always has been prompt and has never overcharged us. We purchased the sump pump because heavy rains this summer had led to a buildup of water in our crawl space that risked damaging the foundation. Prior to coming over, Gavin offered to allow me or an electrician install an outlet and switch; preferring to make sure the job was done correctly, I asked him to bring his electrician. Gavin and a co-worker came over and installed the pump as well as PVC pipe so the water could be pumped into the street, and the electrician installed the outlet and switch. Thanks to the 10% off coupon, we saved a good amount of money on the work. About two weeks later, the pump stopped working because too much debris had gotten into the basin. Gavin was kind enough to come over and install a new, larger basin at no charge. I hope that my wife and I do not have plumbing issues in the future, but if we do, we will contact Palmetto State Plumbing!

I called Gavin on a Friday night when the valve in our kids' bathroom stripped and would not turn off. He came with a smile on his face even though I had interrupted a Friday night dinner out with his family. He gave me the option of rebuilding the valve or replacing the whole faucet. We chose to replace it. Since it was a Friday night and I could not shop for a new shower faucet, Gavin cut into the wall, and capped our water lines so that we would still have water in the rest of the house. The plumbing at the back of the tub is almost inaccessible. Gavin was very professional in finding a solution by cutting a very minimal hole to access the area he needed to work in. Fast forward to today. I had my new shower faucet assembly. Gavin and his partner arrived on time to our agreed appointment. They were very friendly and professional. They replaced the entire old assembly with new and I could not be happier. I would recommend this company to anyone. It is hard to find good, honest people these days. I have found a plumber that I definitely trust and would recommend to all of my family and friends!

First, let me just say how amazing it is to have a plumber you can call late at night when your downstairs bathroom has flooded with water draining from your washing machine! We had just a week earlier moved into a house and promptly discovered, due to the aforementioned flooding, that we had some pipes clogged. Little did we know what a major problem it would turn out to be. Gavin figured out that there were tree limbs that had worked their way into our pipes and were impeding the proper draining of the water from all sources in the house (sinks, toilets, washing machine, shower, etc) To make a very long story short, he fixed everything in a timely fashion and with great professionalism. And he gets MAJOR points for doing it all while keeping my floors clean! We will definitely be using him anytime we have plumbing issues in the future. I highly recommend him.

Excellent service. They answered the phone when I called and made an appointment time for the next day. showed up on time without a service fee. I explained to them all of the things I had tried that had not worked and they snaked it out and tested it after they fixed it. Extremely pleasant, great to talk with and knew exactly what the problem was and how to fix it. Did not try to upsell me anything I did not need. Will definitely call again. I have a new plumber.

We lost hot water at our home. I called Palmetto State Plumbing and Gavin said he would be by that day. After reviewing my problem, he called me at work, explained the problem, and gave me options. He didn't simply try to sell me another hot water heater. After some brief questions, which he answered directly, I decided to replace the hot water heater. He was at the house by the time I got home from work, already had the new heater installed, and didn't leave until he confirmed I had hot water. He was very professional and courteous. I HIGHLY recommend him to any one who needs work done.

Overall the job went very well. They installed the pipeing and shut off valves in great time and they were thorough. They tested all connections and "road tested" the grill for proper operation.

Gavin called ahead to confirm the appointment. He and his assistant came to replace my garbage disposal, which they did in short order. They were both very friendly, polite, and professional. They had some trouble with the existing plumbing, which had not been installed correctly by the previous plumber. They corrected the problem, and now my whole system is working more efficiently. Needless to say, I am very pleased with the results, and will gladly call him again should I need any more plumbing work done.

They called a subcontractor to pump out septic tank and came back after and unclogged drain.

I called them and they were right around here. They fixed the problem and the price was not high at all. I had estimates previously that were much more than what I paid for their services. They repaired the pilot light and even cleaned the filter. They spent a lot of time doing the work. I am really happy with their services.

Overall, it was an amazing experience. I was scared that it was going to cost an arm and a leg, but it was just the opposite. Palmetto State Plumbing went above an beyond fixing my faucete and even caught other problems before they became bigger issues. He even put a smile on my son and dog's faces.
