about the sorriest place to do business with. i bought decking boards from there and after paying for them i checked the price it was wrong. i assumed it was a mistake and told the cashier that the price was $3.97 not $7.97 per board. she then called the lumber manager "mister know it all" and explained the problem. he then told me i picked out the wrong boards. i then told him what area i pulled them out of and even took him to show him along with this i had a friend helping me that day and he also showed him there was no way we picked out the wrong boards. there are 3 racks top rack is $7.97 the middle rack is $3.97 and the bottom rack is also $3.97. the price is marked by a hanging tag above each item. we picked the boards out from the bottom rack and middle rack. after telling him this his answer is "that is the price and i'm not going to do anything about it" after he said that i said "the boards i picked out are in the middle and bottom rack" i aslo picked a few boards out of the bottom rack and showed him he then looked at the barcode on all of the boards in all three racks and saw they were all the same. i again asked "now that we see that all the boards are all the same in all three racks what are you going to do about this mistake on your part since you are the lumber manager" and he said "i'm not going to do anything about it you can take it or leave it i realy don't care what you do. your not a contractor so the little bit of money you spend doesn't matter". so i walked around to the return desk and returned the items and asked for the store mamager. the cashier said the mamager was not in so i asked for the managers phone number and she wouldn't give it to me or call her and give let me talk to her over the phone. then i asked for the district managers number and the cashier did the same thing. after all of this i was then instructed to call to 800 number. so i get in touch with them and after a few weeks the store manager calls me and i tell her what went on. nothing was ever done about this so i no longer do bussiness with home depot
