Horrible. I felt threatened by Mike from dispatch and they completely changed dates on a holiday weekend then threatened to skip over my delivery. Mike from dispatch should be in a business that does not involve dealing with customers.
Description of Work: Arranged months in advance for moving furniture intrastate. I had to give a two day window which I was happy to do. Then they call me and give me one date then call me 2 hours later and move the day up two days on a holiday weekend. Mike from dispatch was very mean and threatening to me and was incredibly rude. I would not use this service for any reason. Customer service is not their concern - not at all.

The guys were great and loaded the truck quickly, however when John the owner found out he kept calling and slowing them down . It took them forever to unload the truck so that it went over 2 hours and cost me an additional $65. No excuse to take over 2 hours to load and unload a bed dresser chest of drawers cedar chest and couch. I got ripped off. People needing a mover BEWARE!
Description of Work: They were to move bedroom furniture and one couch in a u-haul truck. 2 hand truck and furniture 3. 2 miles from point A to B.

Thank you for submitting your review, However accurately reporting is important. There is no John involved with this company. The time it takes to do a job is influenced by several things, but none include phone calls from the office. Drive time between job locations was included in the time on the job. The start and stop time were noted on your work order and you signed , agreeing, with the billing time. The techs noted that they were waiting on you to begin the unloading. Your job was booked and completed the same day, and at your request, at the end of the day. If you weren't happy with the billing time, why didn't you say something then ? We would have been happy to make sure everybody was happy about the job at hand. I am glad that you were happy with the crew and they said they appreciated the tip. yours truly Robert D (Owner)

Darnell and Donnie were prompt, courteous, and very efficient. They took apart a large desk in order for it to fit down the stairs, and re-assembled it in a different room without a problem. I plan to use the service again and ask for the same young men.
Description of Work: Moved furnishings from room downstairs to room upstairs and reverse; i.e. switched rooms. Moved recliner chair from upstairs room to downstairs bedroom.

I had used this company with good service before, but this time was so horrible, I had to review them. The 2 loaders clearly did not have much experience and caused our furniture damage. Within the first 10 minutes, one loader carried an awkward piece of furniture that was clearly too much for him (my husband offered to help but the guy said no), proceeded to bash it into a wall and broke a foot off (we knew we could fix it later so we didn't bother with the claims process). I think he was trying to hide the damage because when I followed him out to the moving van, he was actually trying to wrap the bench up in a blanket!! We had to ask him to stop so we could reinforce it and my husband and I put it in our personal vehicle so no more damage would occur! We have moved over 15 times due to military employment, so we know how to load a moving van. We made the mistake of letting these loaders make their own decisions of where to put things and securing with rope that we provided. They proceeded to put heavy boxes on top of light boxes and plastic totes clearly labelled "fragile", crushing many of them. The rope they "used" didn't hold anything in place - it was loose. When we saw how horribly things were being stacked/loaded, we simply told them we didn't need any more help when they ended 45 minutes early. We just wanted them out of there so we could move things around to better locations. It's a good thing that I had so many blankets and packed my boxes so well because surprisingly not too much was broken. But LOTS of furniture scratches where they ran into walls coming out of the house. They just were in too much of a rush and didn't take care with our items. This definitely wasn't We Care Movers "A" Team.

Mam, As you know, If a customer isn't happy with a crew then they need to call the office and we will gladly send out replacements[ by the way this was the same crew that you had before]. As for you saying "we didn't want to go thru the claims process" then i'm confused as to why you called and asked how to get compensated for the chair. I remember apologizing and offering to send out another crew. To which you said "no they were doing fine and you were happy with them. The chair was no big deal" Then I explained we will apply a reduction to your bill anyways. As for the crew not packing the truck properly. Maybe you didn't realize but each crew sends photos of the loading process as the job progresses to the office.There were no items stacked wrong ? I will speak to this crew again, but I can not address something that didn't happen. and I am sure that after being tipped and then seeing your review, they will be confused as well..

At first, everything was fine. However, as the day wore on, problems arose. First, I paid an additional $175.00 to move the upright piano. The movers brought one dolly to use to move the piano. However, there were only two (2) of them and I had to help them get the piano out of the house. That was not what I expected based upon having to pay an additional $175.00 to move the piano. The leg on a tea cart was broken when it was taken down the driveway. In the process of taking the tea cart down the driveway, a drawer opened and the contents spilled out. One ceramic item inside was broken. A cherry bed set, headboard and footboard, were damaged. The footboard had the decorative top piece broken off of it. On the headboard, one of the decorative pieces fell off and was left in the driveway. I found it and put it away. There were not enough moves and the job took longer than expected. I will agree that there was a hill to bring the items down to the truck, because the truck would not go up the driveway. However, the two (2) moves took numerous breaks and did not work consistently to get the job done. When we got to our destination, we found that items had been pushed against each other without a blanket. A coffee table was badly scratched. Our dining room table was badly scratched because of the lack of a blanket. Other items had damage because of poor packing on the part of the movers. When I later talked to the owner, Mr. Robert Dietz, he was unapologetic for the problems. He told me that we did not provide blankets to them. I told him that U-Haul failed to give me any, however, we had blankets in the house that we were giving his employees everything they asked for them. However, they did not ask for them before packing the furniture side by side, wood against wood or metal against wood. I told him about the piano and the trouble they had moving it and how I did not expect to do the work with them. I had already told him about the broken items before we left the house. All of this fell on deaf ears. In any case, I will never use WeCare movers again.

They grossly under estimated the job. Packers did not have enough materials, boxes, tape, wrapping paper, no markers to label boxes. They were late arriving every day. They took more days than estimated to pack and load. They unloaded until 11:30 pm. Several items were broken including irreplaceable collectibles. All our items were not packed or delivered. The owners brought a few items in their minivan the next day but We had to make 5 additional trips in our personal vehicle to compete the move. They never once said what can we do to make this right and the owner, who was the wife, barely spoke to me when I went outside to talk to her and she acted rudely. We sent a claim form for items broken or damaged and it was returned marked "return to sender". It was sent to the address provided by the mover which is the same one listed on Angie's list. WeCare DOES NOT CARE! They were overwhelmed by the job and we do not recommend them.
Description of Work: Packed, loaded, drove trucks, and unloaded household goods. Uhaul trucks were provided and paid for by customer.

Description of Work: The guys were awesome, they showed up promptly and worked so hard throughout the day to get everything moved in. They helped rearrange furniture in our new house when I decided I didn't like the location. Overall, they were awesome! I'd recommend them to everyone I know who is moving!

I want to comment on the fine job WeCareMovers did moving my daughter. Mr. Dietz was very accommodating in getting a crew together for us. They arrived on time worked steady in the morning loading the truck for two stops one at apt the other to another small storage unit at the destination. They drove to the destination about 40 min away and unloaded all the necessary items at the apt on the 2nd floor then late in the day unloaded the balance of the goods at the other storage unit. They never stopped working even through lunch. We completed the job in the dark at the storage unit using my vehicle headlights . We ran over time allowed but the additional charge for the hour was fair for the amount that was accomplished. If I have anything else I need moved these are the people I will call in the future.
Description of Work: Provided 2 men to move belongings from storage facility in one city to apt in another.

I was so impressed with this company that I wish I had found them years ago. These guys were excellent from start to finish. I was able to pay after services where rendered, which made me more comfortable than some companies I found online that asked for prepay. They gave me a firm hourly rate and stuck to it. One evening after searching the internet for a moving company, I found We Care Movers. I requested service for the date I needed and the company called to discuss the details the very next day. I had to leave a message asking to reschedule my date and I promptly received a call back. The day arrived to unload my POD. I received a call from the two men scheduled. They wanted to let me know they were on their way. They came within the time frame they were originally scheduled to show up. They wrote down their start time and got to work. I was only charged for the time they worked. They worked diligently, breaking only to drink water on that hot day. They were personable and well skilled. They handled my belongings with great care and didn't damage anything. Being a single woman, safety is always a concern. I felt comfortable with these men in my home. If you are looking for hardworking and trustworthy movers I recommend this company, and in particular, Corey and Wesley. They provided the best moving experience I have had in the past twenty years and 5 interstate moves.

It was about a three and a half hour drive and the move went very well. They were friendly, courteous, careful with my furniture and they do very high quality work.
