DAVID COOK'S HEATING AIR & ELECTRICAL

Not good. David Cooks was assigned to me by my home warranty company. He arrived when scheduled and was friendly. He was originally supposed to just be fixing my leaking dishwasher (my home warranty company was sending out another person to fix the garbage disposal) but he told me he could do both. We got the approval of the warranty company and paid him the service fee ($65) twice. He said both appliances would need replacement parts that he would order and get back to me about performing the repairs. Well, that was the last I heard from them. I called several times over the next couple of weeks (!), each time getting a different story. First they were waiting for the parts to come in, then the parts were in but they needed to see when they could fit it in their schedule, then only one of the parts was in, then they were supposedly in negotiations with my warranty company about replacing the dishwasher (my warranty company hadn't heard from them). Each time they said they'd call me back within a few hours to schedule a time to come by and they never did. Finally, after nearly three weeks, I was fed up and had lost all confidence in them. I contacted my warranty company and they've set me up with someone else. Then, to top it all off, David Cooks' company called about 2 hours after I spoke to my warranty company but didn't leave a message (I have to imagine the warranty folks must have contacted them). So, unless you've got more patience than me, I'd recommend staying away.
