Jose and his crew were pleasant, professional, punctual, and thorough. Their preparation work was exemplary. Their clean up was thorough. I am completely happy with everything they did.

If I could rate Rodriguez Painting 10 Stars, I would. The start of work was delayed due to rain, however Rodriguez Painting kept us in the loop on their schedule and showed up on time. Once the work was started, it was completed in a timely and professional manner. This company provided top quality paint and painters. Minor wood repair that was not included in their bid was completed without extra cost. This extra effort on their part is one of the reasons I would rate them higher than 5 Stars. They also came back after the work was completed to free up some of the windows that were painted shut. Top drawer company. You won't go wrong with them!

It went very well. He was very good and was in and out when he said he was going to be.

Mr Rodriguez and his crew were wonderful. They listened and always answered questions that I asked. They were very careful to cover all furniture and carpeting. Very conscientious in their work making sure the job was done correctly and to your liking. I would tell anyone not to hesitate to have Mr Rodriguez and his crew do the job for you. I would definitely use them again and have already passed their name along to friends.

It was definitely professionally done. This is the 4th time I have used them (all on different condos that I own as well as them painting the outside of my own home). You won't go wrong by hiring them. They do a great job. They cover everything and do the job to your exact specifications the first time. Very reasonably priced including paint!

Mr. Rodriguez and his family of painters did an excellent job re painting our home. Their method of hand-painting versus spraying seems to be a more thorough way to ensure every nook and cranny is painted. We did need to be specific (I.e. That we wanted all fixtures and shutters to be removed and painted behind) but they provided an excellent job at a fair price. My wife and I would recommend them to anyone!

Very professional crew, a pleasure to have working in my home!

I had an appointment for an estimate at 3:00 friday afternoon. This was a rental property I own and is about 30 minutes from my house. At about 2:40 he called to cancel and reschedule. I was annoyed because I had already left my house specifically to go meet him. We rescheduled for 2pm Monday. At 2:15 when he had not shown up Monday afternoon, I called. He sounded confused and asked for my address. He said he was on his way to meet a guy at 2:30. I said yea well you were supposed to be here at 2. I reminded him that we had an appointment on Friday and he called 20 min before the time to reschedule. He seemed to maybe know who I was then but still had no idea about our appointment on Monday. So twice I went out of my way to meet this guy. I have no intention of calling him back.

I am very pleased that I chose Rodriguez Painting. His price was more than fair. More over the care, quality and attention to detail was more than I expected. Though he quoted me a price assuming he could apply the primer and paint using a spray gun, he later chose to have his crew paint the house using brushes and rollers (a much more labor intensive process) since it would would yield a better outcome. An honest and talented company and crew I highly recommend.

Jose came out promptly and gave me a detailed written quote to paint the whole interior of my home except for 2 bathrooms. This includes some walls about 20 high and some dormer windows. His team finished the job in 2 days. They did a great and i was very pleased with the work, and the price seemed very reasonable.

Jose was absolutely wonderful to work with. He responded quickly for an estimate. He also took his time walking the property with me and asking good questions to get a solid idea of my expectations. I told him I wanted as close to a 10 yr paint job as I could get. We agreed on quality primer and paints that I had researched on the internet. (Aura highly rated when properly applied) Jose was not the cheapest or the most expensive bid we received but he "was" the most through. Due to weather issues the start date was delayed but Jose keeps his promise to finish projects in progress and doesn't grab new business just to make money. His team did a great job pressure washing all surfaces. They then meticulously sanded all wood surfaces, some down to bare wood. Patching if needed. They even sanded between each section of dental molding around the entire house. I was exhausted just watching them. Once they were happy with the sanding and patching they applied quality primer to all surfaces. The final step was to apply "two" coats of paint. Jose not only insures his workers, he provides them with the ladders they need and ladder safety blocks to provide a solid foundation. I was glad to see his support to his staff. Jose comes by from time to time to check on progress or to bring supplies. He is always available by cell phone and returns calls quickly. Jose did not "rush" his team like some other vendors we've used. The took well over a week to complete the entire job. Jose even called my after I thought they were done to remind me he was coming by to finish a detail I had forgotten about. Jose has a wonderful and professional work ethic that is rare these days. I gladly recommend him with confidence and will be using him again for future projects. Update: Now a few months later the house still looks terrific and a little rinse from a garden hose washes away any accumulated dust or dirt. Great Job!

Jose was a great hire! He quickly responded to my initial call and provided me with an estimate within 24 hours. We unfortunately had to reschedule our first appointment and Jose was very accommodating and understanding. On the day of the appointment Jose showed up with help and quickly began to prep the walls for painting. Jose laid drop cloths down in the room we hired him to paint and even laid additional drop cloths down in the hallway and the stairway. I was very impressed since I am very picky about my floors. The job was complete within 2-3 hours, and looked lovely. Jose and his help did a beautiful job, and I would definitely hire them again!

No show, no call. Weighted reviews for a no shows/no call should be the same as work performed. Two years with Angie's list - waste of money. I can't understand why contractors have no comprehension that time is money and that the customers' time is just as valuable to them?

I can't say enough about this crew. First, they power washed the house, the sidewalk, and the driveway. The next day, they began removing storm windows, screens, and iron bars on the cellar windows, followed by two days of scraping and sanding. They were very thorough; they even repaired and/or replaced some of the rotting wood. Then every wood surface got primer. After the primer dried, they applied at least two coats of paint. They were hardworking and meticulous, barely taking breaks. Jose even painted places that were not on my original list, like the lattice work on our back porch (I had not included it because it was labor intensive), and the porch ceiling. When the paint was dry, he cleaned the windows, screens, and storm windows before putting them back on. He takes pride in his work, and wants to make sure everything looks good. Next year, we will have the inside of the house painted, and I wouldn't think of calling anyone else. To address some of the negative reviews above, anyone who's ever worked with a contractor knows that they don't always come when they say they will, or they won't always return your calls. You just have to be persistent . Jose is the best there is, people want him, and he's busy. But he's worth the wait, and he's worth the price.

Weeks of planning, researched on Angie?s List, special access appointment thru realtor on a house I?m under contact on, took 1.5 hours off from NEW job, all to get an estimate to try and have my new house painted before my household goods arrive ? all that to be stood up. Thanks Jose for completely screwing up my plans and wish I could charge YOU for the 1.5 hours of pay I lost.

My wife and I just move into a house we just purchased. I was planning on repainting the house since we were not thrilled with the colors. So we picked out the paint and purchased the paint at Lowe's. I'm 70 years old and was pretty tired of the move we just made across town after selling our old home. With a little coaching from my wife, I decided to search Angie's List and came up with Rodriguez Painting. I liked what I read in the reviews and decided to give them a try. I called and spoke to Jose Rodriguez the owner. He came out next day and gave me an estimate. We were under some time restraints to get the house painted before we moved most of our furniture in. He gave us a price that I thought was little high but because I had already bought the paint, we decided to go forward. He sent a crew of 3 painters out and they did a marvelous job. They were neat, they picked up behind themselves and were able to finish the job in a timely fashion (much quicker than it would have taken me). My wife and I were completely happy with their work. We would use them again.

Jose's team did a great job. We had several weather delays, but they were able to complete the job within a reasonable time frame. They repaired all of the trim that needed repairing and the house now looks great. I can already tell that this paint was done better than the previous job before we moved into this house about 8 years ago.

They were excellent. The workers arrived right on time. They were very thorough. They scraped and sanded off the old paint, primed all the trim and then came back the next day to put on the second coat. They were fast, neat, conscientious, and the quality was excellent. I will definitely be using them again.
