We have been homeowners for over 30 years and have run the gamut from painting ourselves, watching our newly built home being painted, and hiring other contractors to paint the exterior. Rodriguez painting surpassed them all. The job extended over a few weeks due to the rains of November and Thanksgiving. However, we appreciated the fact that they were very careful to paint only when the weather conditions would allow. If they wanted to work on the weekend, they verified with us that it would be acceptable. The preparation work: scraping, sanding, caulking, covering the newly bared wood was done conscientiously and thoroughly. Our neighbor even commented on the quality of the work that he observed. We recommended them to my parents. Their work was completed in early February. It was a smaller job, but my dad had nothing but glowing praise, saying "I would recommend them to anyone." We totally agree!

I found them on Angie’s List. They are simply amazing. They started the work a week ago. I initially meant to use them for exterior painting only. However, they did such great work that I extended the contract for them to do the interior painting as well. I received two different estimates for both the jobs. The exterior painting cost me $6,260. They did an extensive job. When the guy gave me an estimate, he broke up the labor and material costs. Since I have aluminum siding on my house, there was a certain kind of paint that needed to be used. His labor cost was very competitive. I wanted the best materials to be used. I was glad that he had given me a higher estimate than what I had initially hoped for because I knew he would use higher quality materials. He risked losing the business by giving me an estimate which was outside my budget, but he wanted the job done the right way. It immediately instilled my trust in him. I wanted him to do the job. He painted everything, including the trim on the windows, the trim on the gutters, and everything in my two-storeyed colonial house. All the trims on the house were chocolate brown. He painted all the siding, the front door, the shutters; etc. He took down the screens on the window. He will be coming out to put them back. He replaced the wood that needed to be replaced. He just did everything. He told me that I would not have to paint my house again for another 10-15 years. If there is a problem, he will be back and fix it for me. There were six people working on the house. When I asked him to do the interior painting, he put two or three people into that at the same time. This way, it did not take quite as long to complete the work. They did an excellent job. They came out at 7:30 in the morning and left in the evening. They worked over the weekend. They did not take any days off last weekend. They are bonded and have insurance. I will be talking to him about the painting that needs to be done on my parents’ house. I have also recommended him to one of my colleagues. I have not had a single complaint with him and his workers. They will be completing the work shortly and doing little touchup work. I will absolutely use this company again in the future. I am really impressed with them.

We contacted Jose Rodriguez for an estimate, along with 2 other service providers we found through Angie's List and ServiceMagic. Jose's estimate was very competitive with the others, and he was responsive & professional while fielding some additional questions we had before getting started. We ultimately chose Rodriguez Painting because they made a good impression, were available to start when we needed to, and were flexible in allowing us to purchase our own paint (one of the other painters was insistent that he purchase the paint, and refused to use the finish we wanted). Jose and his crew were punctual, professional, and cleaned up after themselves each day when they left. We were very impressed with how they treated our home, and the level of precision they displayed in painting some very tricky areas. The entire crew was friendly, and Jose really went out of his way to answer all of our questions and walked us through the job when they had finished to make sure we were satisfied and to check behind the crew for any missed areas in need of clean-up. He's a meticulous professional, which is a great thing for a painter. Overall, we're very satisfied and will definitely hire them again for our next interior painting project.

He is a very good painter overall. He?s quite honest and meticulous, cleaning up well after himself. He also offers reasonable prices and a reliable service.
