It went well and I was very pleased with their service.

After a lesson learned the hard way, I have always had my garage door(s) "tuned up", every two years, in the fall. Innovative Door Systems had a great offer for a garage door tune up and roller replacement on Angie's List. They did a thorough job tightening the door panels, replacing the rollers and adjusting the chain. Now my garage door works smoothly and is quieter, which is a good indication the preventive maintenance was needed. This was my first time using this company and I will use them again.

I thought our door only needed some maintenance - ok, maybe some major maintenance. But at first glance, the technician said "You need a new door." He was right. The roller mounts had pulled through the thin steel door material and two rollers fell to the floor as we opened the door. The tech was able to immediately quote a price for our somewhat atypical application (18' x 7') immediately, and had a brand new, much nicer insulated door in place within 2 days for a better price than I expected. In short, I'd heartily recommend Innovative Door Systems.

I was so impressed by Innovative Door Systems, they called and set up an appointment for the same day. Innovative Door Systems tuned up my garage, put new rollers on one door, and greased both the doors. We did purchase a garage door opener from them, mine wasn't working properly. I will definitely call them in the future for all my garage door needs. Very prompt and professional.

Excellent work. The technician was prompt, courteous, and professional. My garage door actually wasn't working when he showed up, but he had it going again within minutes, and fixed several mistakes (at no additional charge) that I had made when I replaced the torsion spring two years ago. These guys are the ones I'll call if I have any trouble with the garage door in the future.

Everything went smooth. They called to schedule an appointment, arrived on time and spent extra time to be sure the problem was fixed.

Everything went absolutely perfect. First of all, they were very accommodating on the phone. They gave me a time and a date and the man came out on time which was great. We were prepared for getting a brand new garage door but he took the time to explain that the door is fine and just needs repaired. He went and checked everything else in the system and it was just a really amazing job.

Both visits went extremely well. The provider was helpful and informative. He took the time to try to repair the garage door opener but it was beyond fixing. He returned the next day and replaced it. We are very happy to now have a reliable door opener that works ALL the time! We would definitely use this provider in the future.

Excellent job. At first I bought the Chamberlain version of the opener and just called to have it installed. Without even opening the box, the installer new that it would not work in my garage due to the low beams and the clearance the chain mechanism needed. My Garage required the pro version from Liftmaster where the main bar is one solid piece vs the sections Chamberlain comes with. It required a second visit a couple days later and they brought the new system, installed it, and helped me program it to get everything going. Love the new system and would definitely use IDS again in the future.

They arrived on time for their first appointment and immediately provided me with a price and options and how much each options would be. When they installed the door they knew exactly what they were doing. They even took the time to fix the panel on the garage as it had to be nailed backup against the wall. After they took care of that it was 1.5 hours and they were done. They were extremely professional, knowledgeable and the only thing I had left was to test to ensure it worked. I really love Angie's list as a way to obtain referrals. So far it has worked for me 6 times out of 6. They are fabulous on their accuracy of reviews.

This company was very prompt in responding to my email for a quote. They called me promptly, set up the appointment and were at my house as promised. Upon evaluation it was recommended to replace the garage door opener. Two different types were recommended, and explained thoroughly to me. After doing some comparison shopping I called and scheduled the service. The company worked with me and called me when they were on their way to my house, so I could then leave work and meet them at my house when they were done. In this way I didn't need to wait at my house all morning. The installer cleaned up well after himself, didn't leave behind any trash, explained everything to me as needed. Overall it was an excellent experience, I'd recommend them to anyone.

The door now opens reliably but is extremely noisy.

John was very professional, showed at the appointment time, were very happy with the job his crew did.

I contracted a tune-up and door opener soon after it was advertised. However, a used, and less costly opener was installed as the company did not have the stated opener in stock. Told it would take a couple of months to restock. Not happy. A day later they returned and removed the installed model and reinstalled the promised model, but this was removed from another site (used.) Wanted the job done so did not argue. Have to question business practices. This is the second job done by this company. The first went without issue.

This was a big deal purchase and I guess it was okay. They wanted us to spend more than the $79 price of the big deal, but we didn't see the need in it. I was not here when they did the work, my wife was. I did not get to talk to the guy or anything. He said what we asked him to do, which was replace rollers, wasn't needed, but he did it anyway. I did not see any difference. My only concern is they said we did not need what we had done and they suggested more work. I was not sure I agreed with that. I was not here to talk to them so they said they would send us a quote of, like, $185 for this other piece of work. I don't know if we need it or not. I have not had time to go in and analyze it for myself.

On the morning of 24 November, John said he would arrive on 27 November between 1030 and 1100. When I asked John about discounts, Angie's List or military, he said he did not have any even though Angie's List showed a coupon for 'Innovative Door Systems' "5% off First Time Service for Angie's List Members." After he received photos of the garage door (inside and out) and dimensions I sent him per his request, he sent a text message adjusting the time. On 27 November, I phoned him asking where he was; sounded like I woke him. He said he had a crew coming to my home. I told him I thought I was meeting with him; price and work had not been previously agreed upon. John said the crew was only five miles away; I told him that if the crew did not arrive during the next five minutes to reschedule for the next day at 1000 A.M.; I had adjusted my schedule already and had things to do. As I was driving away, I meet the crew and told them I had spoken with their 'boss' and could not wait any longer. My time may not be valuable to John, but it sure is to my family and me. The next day, neither John nor anyone else arrived

The spring on our 30 year old wooden garage door broke and we were unable to open garage. Called Innovative Door Systems after searching Angies List. Picked IDS based on excellent reviews and also because they were local to Easley, SC. John arrived promptly within 1 hour of my call and assessed the situation. We decided to install a new triple insulated Amarr door that was long overdue. New door was ordered and IDS arrived promptly when promised one week later and installed new door. The new door is fantastic and such an improvement over our old heavy wooden door. Crew arrived on time and did a wonderful job. Very professional and efficient. Cleaned up when finished and could not even tell they were here. Would highly recommend IDS to anyone needing garage door repair, service or installation.

John performed the work as described, when scheduled and at the price discussed. Very professional and friendly and answered all questions satisfactorily.

Ok Poor communication between my wife and serviceman so not all actions were completed.
