John was very responsive when I called and came promptly to give an estimate. He arrived at the end of the working day, after completing another job in the area. He'd clearly been working himself, which was nice to see in an owner of a business. He was very friendly and courteous, and wrote an estimate on the spot. I sought other estimates, but John's price was better. He'd even asked to be be given the opportunity to be able to match or beat any competitor's prices, which I appreciated. When I called to order the door, he confirmed the details via email, which was reassuring. When the door arrived, he called and emailed to let me know it was in and to schedule installation. He then showed up even in a snow "storm" (it's South Carolina, but y'all know what snow means around here: chaos) and installed on time and for the exact price quoted. Prompt, professional, friendly and very competitive in terms of price. The new door looks great, too, works fine, etc. What's not to love about that?!? If you're looking for a new garage door, give John a call!

At around 11am on a Friday morning, I called and spoke with John, the owner. After describing the details and door dimensions, he gave me a quote on the phone of $147. He also said he would honor the Angie's List coupon of 5% discount for a first time customer, bringing the price down to approx. $140. I agreed to the very fair price and John said he would have Ryan out to make the repair that day. Within 2 hours Ryan arrived and and had the repair made within 20 minutes. I watched him during the repair process. Ryan was fast, proficient and quite competent. He was also very professional and courteous. Ryan also lubricated the entire door and lift system and even checked the nylon gear in the opener to check on its wear condition. He said all looked and operated fine. No surprises; I was charged $140 as quoted. I couldn't have been more pleased with the experience or results.

This was great. I called John on a Sunday evening. He returned my call immediately, gave me a price over the phone, and said he would call the next day when he had access to his calendar to see when he could come out. He called the next day as promised and arranged to come out Tuesday morning to fix it. He came right on time, fixed it quickly and for the exact price I was quoted. I don't know what else they did, but the garage even closes more smoothly now than before it was broken.

They did a really good job. We had some issues with timing with them, it was just some bad circumstances and they had some things that could not have been avoided, but it was frustrating. They did a spectacular job though. The doors work unbelievably well, they are quiet and the garage is underneath our master bedroom, so we can now sleep through with the doors opening and closing, unlike before where it shook the entire house. We don’t have a small house and it would shake the entire house but they did a great job fixing it. They installed great openers and we had the recommendations on which ones they used and why. They did a really great job pulling down the old garage, patching what they needed to, and then putting up the new supports and the new tracking. They framed in so that the doors were flushed like they needed to be so that we could order standard doors and not custom doors, so that it would save us some money. They saved us a good amount of money with that and also we wanted something around the wood framing they were doing and we went back and forth for different options with that and in the end, they covered it with hard plank siding which is what had been there before. So they kind of made it nice like it did originally. They just did a really, really good job. They stayed late the last night that they were working and stayed later than we anticipated. They tried to close it up as quickly as they could because for some time we didn’t have any doors there and it was easier to get into the house from there. We have been very pleased, the doors look fantastic, the garage is much better insulated now, and they run quietly. We didn’t do much quoting on this job, but based on the kind of doors we got and what they did, it was fairly reasonable. The quality of the work was worth the issues we had.

I needed a garage door opener for the left door that had seldom been used. The right side door had been in constant use and had a fairly new opener. Both doors were old wood doors and I wondered I perhaps this would be the time to replace them. I asked for estimates from several people about my options. John was to only one that came out and took time to review my option and make further suggestions. I decided to keep the door,so they put in the new garage opener, added am electric outlet to plug the opener into, and installed a keypad outside, as well as replacing a frayed cable on the right door. A few days later the spring on the right door snapped they came back promptly, and replaced the spring and re strung the cable. A little extra, they replaced the light bulbs in the old opener.
