Description of Work: I have used Easley Mechanical for several years for my home and rental units. They (Tony) are always on time and fix the problem quickly! My tenants have bragged on them and their service as well. The last repairman had to fabrication a new bracket for a bolt that had seized up. They go out of their way to make sure the customer is pleased.

Description of Work: Basically other than spending a lot of time. . . nothing. Found leak in evaporator coil and added refrigerant. Why? If their was a lead it did not make any sense to me to add refrigerant. The unit still did not cool after the service tech left. I got a call the next day explaining that the valve was bad and it and the evaporator coil had to be replaced. I asked if just the valve could be replaced and he told me no. (I had another company come in before they had called and told me they would replace just the valve). Easley said

Description of Work: we needed our crawl space (VERY low in places) attended to. Service people (telephone, gas, etc) had previously crawled around and over some of the heating/ac ducts, denting some in. These guys went under, inspected all, replaced some dented ducts that were obstructing air flow, replaced under the floor insulation that had dropped down, cleaned out debris in the crawl space. Very good, pleasant, efficient workers.

Description of Work: I went to adjust the thermostat like I always do every morning and noticed that it was a degree above the temperature it was set at. This was unusual considering it was early morning. Also, the unit was running and running. I checked the thermostat every 10 min or so and noticed it was going up--not down like it should have been. I checked Angie's List and called Easley Mechanical because they had all good reports and they were close. Fortunately, they were able to get their serviceman to come over just after noon which was perfect for me since I had an a.m. appointment. The technician immediately diagnosed the problem (bad capacitor) but he didn't have one with him. He told me he would go get one and that he would be back in 15-20 min. He was gone about 20min and had the part when he returned. It didn't take long for him to install it and the unit is working fine now. He also checked the freon charge and it was fine.

Description of Work: I had noticed that our Air Conditioner was freezing up. It had done this before, one year ago. We were under Home Warranty a year ago. That service man came and filled our compressor and left. Easley Mechanical, came out, and the service man asked several questions in his diagnostics. He then looked at our Air Filter, and it was a bit dirty. He advised that I change it, and I did while he was here. He stated that could cause the problem I was experiencing, and that he didn't want to charge for Freon if we didn't need it. He then checked the unit, and found that we were low on Freon. He stated that since this had happened twice in 12 months, that I probably had a leak. He made some suggestions for us to think about. My wife and I have discussed it, and will follow up with them in the very near future. He did not hard sell us, and was very professional. We have found a Heating and Air company with Easley Mechanical.

Description of Work: Easley Mechanical checked the AC, cleaned the coils.

Description of Work: Easley Mechanical installed a new hot water Heater for us. They also removed and discarded the old one.
