Trey responded to my initial phone call promptly and came out within 48 hrs. to check out several electrical issues that I was having. My doorbell chime had started humming loudly so Trey had brought a new one along and replaced it. When trouble-shooting the under-cabinet lighting problem in the kitchen he found a damaged connection and repaired it. He even went to the local hardware store and got some replacement bulbs for the under-cabinet lights and range hood. The electrical outlet that was throwing the breaker when the microwave was in use turned out to be OK, I just had to move the microwave to a more dedicated outlet. Trey checked out the 2 ceiling fans, they had been struck by lightning in the past, one only operated on one speed and the other was just questionable so Trey recommended to replace it for safety reasons. He offered to come back next week and install some new fans so that is what we are going to do. I really couldn't have been more pleased with the whole experience. Trey is very knowledgeable and conscientious, I was very impressed by his work ethic and his rates are reasonable. I found out his company also does carpentry work and bathroom renovations so when he comes back to install my fans, he is working up an estimate for me for some exterior carpentry work. I am so glad I called Trey Smiley at East Coast Electrical Contractor Service and I highly recommend him for your electrical needs.

Trey Smiley, East Coast Electrical, came to look at the job; put together a proposal and time frame, cost was very reasonable; he did a fantastic job and went beyond just the electrical; set up the generator on a foundation of stone to be sure it was stable; went and got lattice work from the hardware store and put it together around the gas tank, so we would be in compliance with HOA rules. Could not ask for anything better. Perfect. Would definitely recommend.

Awesome in every respect!!! When called; came the following day; gave me the 'most reasonable price'. Offered to work with the Propane Installation Service Man to be sure all was hooked up and ready to go. Connected 12 circuit Transfer Switch; walked through the process of identifying the 12 standby circuits; made suggestions about which were more important than others; purchased the stone bedding, put it in place so he could mount the pad and the generator; placed pavers around the stone so that the stones would not move an destabilize the generator. The generator when he tried to program was frozen; made a couple of calls; found the very best company and tech who came out within a couple of hours and found that something from the factory was not connected properly; repaired it; got it working. Trey Smiley then worked with the tech to get the generator operational. The propane tank tech left beforehand--could not wait for the start-up; so Trey got that all set up and working.........and because I live in a village where everything has to be latticed off--while Trey was waiting for the computer generator tech to come; he and his partner, Kyle, went to Home Depot, got 4 posts, lattice work and a gate and installed it. Fabulous in every respect!!!! Could not ask for a better experience. Will hire them for any electrical/solar work I want done in the future.
