+ -1 moreArrived on time, professional but incorrectly diagnosed the problem (problem correctly diagnosed by 2nd opinion). This could have cost us a lot of money if we had gone ahead with their repair and the refrigerator would still not have functioned.
Description of Work: Refrigerator was not functioning, needed this checked and repaired.

+ -1 morePoorly. Three visits and the freezer still does not work. No refund; no apology. First visit: we were told the freezer needed Freon. That did not resolve the problem. Charge: $325. Second visit: We were told the relay need to be replaced. That did not resolve the problem. Charge: $185. Third visit: we were told by the owner, Red, that the compressor was leaking oil and we should replace the refrigerator. We had an authorized Sub Zero technician check out the freezer. He said the compressor had been over-charged with Freon. The relay installed was an overload relay not approved by Sub Zero. There is no oil leak. We were charged for unnecessary repairs, ripped off, lied to, and now Red won't return repeated phone calls. Based on this experience we recommend not using Red's Appliance Repair.
Description of Work: Check-out and repair a Sub Zero freezer that had stopped working.
